Example, the Department of War. Requires a Congressional authorization. As far as I know the name change was never put in the NDAA or any DoD authorization. Or take a look at the Confederate Veteran renames. Here they actually put in the name changes in the NDAA. So these will stick. Problem is while the last names are the sames, the full names are for different people than the Confederate heroes. Today, most Mexicans get their guns from the Mexican military rather than the Guatamalen military. It still mostly comes from the US though.
