The Jewish Question is by far the most contentious issue in the White Nationalist community. Being a veteran of the movement (stuckment?) for a decade, I couldn’t begin to count the number of times that contention over the issue has dissolved coalitions, ended productive conversations, and led to censorship of one kind or another. To Hunter Wallace’s credit, Occidental Dissent has become a true rarity on the Internet, a place where people with a range of perspectives on the JQ are politely discussing it.
I’m not sure how he accomplishes it. Some people contend that he logs in under a variety of aliases and performs an elaborate sock puppet routine of debating against himself. Those people are stupid, but I don’t have a better explanation for how he is managing to accomplish the impossible. I also don’t have any idea how long it will last. While we do have this window of opportunity, I hope some of you will consider my own thoughts on this matter, which don’t really fit in either the “philo-Semitic” or “anti-Semitic” camps.
The facts clearly indicate that Jews are directing our foreign policy, running Hollywood, controlling our media, and dominating our academic institutions. While I always make a point to be patient with the ignorant, I don’t think intelligent people who’ve seriously researched this issue can honestly dismiss the disproportionate role Jews currently have in managing Western Civilization. Personally, I suspect that those who do are often engaging in some sort of “deep game”, one which relies on cultivating a better relationship with our overlords.
But proof that they’re in control isn’t necessarily proof of malice, conspiracy, or causation. Honestly, a lot of the impotent rage toward Jews among the anti-Semites does look and smell an awful lot like the impotent rage that Black advocates like Rev. Wright direct at White folks. Just as some Black Nationalists can swing absolutely any Black problem back to White oppression, some White Nationalists can swing absolutely any White problem back to Jewish oppression. Most problematic of all, these same White Nationalists very often convince themselves that we’re helpless victims, a paralyzing conclusion. It can be, as BNP leader Darby put it recently, little more than a comfortable bed to lie on.
Many anti-Semites rely on the AIDS analogy, explaining that Jews suppress our civilization’s natural impulse to defend its borders, uphold its traditions, and preserve its racial integrity. Allow me to propose an equally unflattering but perhaps more apt analogy: shingles. Most healthy people have had chicken pox and have the the strain of herpes which caused it. If their immune systems are compromised, the typically dormant virus can become active, appearing to be “the” problem. In actuality, the shingles outbreak isn’t the cause; it’s the effect.
Every major civilization has Jews in it. Only ours is completely managed by them. Why did the Jewish colonies in China and India fail to follow the Western template? I propose that it’s because both China and India have their own indigenous managerial castes: Mandarins and Brahmans. The Jews, being a managerial caste, don’t really have an available niche there. The job of managing grain surpluses, keeping the records, and administering the crippling complexity that comes with mature civilizations is already performed by competent and entrenched indigenous elites.
To understand why Jews became the West’s managerial caste requires only that we understand when they started to become our managerial caste. The revolt against the Catholic Church which was triggered by the invention of the printing press and led by Martin Luther (a rabid anti-Semite, himself) toppled the managerial “caste” which had been at the helm of Western Civilization since the Classical Period. Into the power vacuum? Jews.
While Nietzsche was far from a proponent of either Christianity or the Catholic Church, his diagnosis of the root of modernity in the death of God was succinct. It wasn’t some literal “death of God”, but the implosion of the Group Evolutionary Strategy of the West, Christianity, which was the cause of our predicament. The Protestants who believed that they were relieving themselves of a corrupt and exploitative priesthood were only castrating their indigenous priesthood and sending themselves into subjugation to a new one. This perspective, which borrows heavily from MacDonald, Gottfried, and assorted Traditionalists, is what I call “evolutionary traditionalism”. Mere awareness of Jewish behavioral patterns and their potential threat to our society is insufficient, as Martin Luther demonstrated. We need a robust GES and a competent vanguard of indigenous elites prepared to implement and enforce it.

I reject the premise. An elite isn’t some artificial construct per se, it’s a natural phenomenon. Basically, the cream rises to the top and takes on the lion’s share of the organizational duties of a group. The elite are just what we call that cream. It doesn’t necessarily have to be religion. It can be a largely secular elite, as is the case with China’s Mandarin elites. Judaism, Islam, and Medieval Catholicism are complete G.E.S. machines, while the Protestant denominations are powerless by design. Protestant Christianity cannot thwart Jewish power. I’ve not yet ceased to be surprised at the common ignorance of our ancestors. Even Nugent has it skewed in his article. He relies on English text instead of German text, and these are people who know what they are talking about, and don’t skew things because it’s easier to make things up then consult reliable historical record. German is a language. The nation called Germany is recent development. Only a few hundred years ago, even at the time of Napolean, most French knew themselves as German. France was only the Ill de France in Paris. The Vikings didn’t come from only Scandanavia and Denmark, The war parties were comprised of anyone who wanted to go along – anyone who was German. German = Warman = Free man = meaning he’s free to go on the war party (Die Gotha) if he likes. The Kingdom of the Danes made a concerted effort to overrun Saxon England…this is why the English always say the vikings were from Denmark and Norway. They were not, except for one period they were a minority. In those days everyone with a boat took a shot at England.

Germany – War man, self explanatory
France – the Franks, a German tribe. Point out to any frenchman ‘Charlemagne’ = Carle De Alemagne – Carl the German, as simple as the nose on your face, but the French will look at you with goggle eyes.
England – Anglelandt – Anglo land – German.
Austria – Osterieche – Eastern Empire (of Germany)
Netherlands – Low lands – German low lands.
Belgium is named after the Belgique, a Keltic tribe of lengthy history, ancient.
Russia – The Russ – a German tribe who’s leader was the original Barbarosa (Red Beard)
And Denmark, Norway, Switzerland etc. etc.
People here talk about the ‘white’ race, but they know next to nothing about it except the original Americans apparently were white, and the English were white. They know it’s important. But make no effort to find out. If the Nordic ‘White’ race is going to reclaim it’s future, It better reclaim it’s past. It wonders around like a zombie. The Anglos are like a pack of mad dogs controlled by jews. They destroy Europe and bankroll the Communist revolution, almost completely wiping the greatest civilization in the world in the process, and they do it in a zombie like trance…..like wikitopian talks of Protestantism, blames it for cultural marxism, when he knows only the most watered down and defeated branch of it. Nothings of its history and it’s reason for being.

thats a good article, well written and well meaning, but so much of it is skewed or just plain wrong. He applies nation state names of the last two hundred years to a thousand years ago. I don’t understand why all thse articles are so badly off the mark. Are all books in England and America about Europe completely bonkers?
And as to above, most Englishmen know Queen Victoria spoke only German in private with Albert and her family. So what he says about George any Englishman could tell him is wrong. And the Windsor were not called Windsors untill WWI, they were Battenburgs. The royal consort Philip of today also speaks german in private. It’s very trying.

I didn’t intend to broadly insult Protestants, though I can see that it would be taken as such. I’ve read Martin Luther’s works on the JQ and, while I will read the Weber you recommend, I’m pretty familiar with the general history. What I’m trying to say is that Protestantism’s inculcation of the Enlightenment notion that the asylum should be accountable to the inmates inverts the power dynamic. The church does what the (externally influenced) congregation tells it to do and morphs into a weapon in the arsenal of those who control the media and academia (Jews, in this case).

It’s good to see that there are some honest, genuinely open minded WN’s here, willing to explore the ‘Anglo riddle’. Grimoire, in his irascible and blunt way, is onto something big, that may be the key to our ultimate genetic survival; namely a hard look at our deeply warped, inner, Anglo, (or Anglicised) White psyche. It is a disaster indeed, and a terrible shame that most of the really important literature on the topic of fundamental Anglo psychological and character flaws are in German, and have never been translated or published in English. In my posting #37 in Blood-and-Politics, I mentioned Helmut Gordon’s book, which cuts to much of the chase.
Another similar book of recent vintage is Peter Winkelvoß’s book, DIE WELTHERRSCHAFT der ANGELSACHSEN. For a good reading very early Germanic history see: Gustaf Kossina’s classic, DIE DEUTSCHE VORGESCHICHTE. More recently, Helmut Schröcke’s book INDOGERMANEN, GERMANEN, SLAWEN is a good overview of Germanic roots (Wurzeln). A good source of current German language material can be found @ Lesenundschenken’s website, which can be easily ‘googled’.
Please do continue with the current discussion, fellows, it is most insightful. And, don’t take unnecessary offence about the subject, as our survival is at stake.

Damn, there was an interesting re-visit to this thread, with a good discussion going, and now no action at all. The blog entries with new subject matter come on so fast and furious, that the site is moving at Nascar speed, neglecting and distracting from some good prior threads.
