The Jewish Question is by far the most contentious issue in the White Nationalist community. Being a veteran of the movement (stuckment?) for a decade, I couldn’t begin to count the number of times that contention over the issue has dissolved coalitions, ended productive conversations, and led to censorship of one kind or another. To Hunter Wallace’s credit, Occidental Dissent has become a true rarity on the Internet, a place where people with a range of perspectives on the JQ are politely discussing it.
I’m not sure how he accomplishes it. Some people contend that he logs in under a variety of aliases and performs an elaborate sock puppet routine of debating against himself. Those people are stupid, but I don’t have a better explanation for how he is managing to accomplish the impossible. I also don’t have any idea how long it will last. While we do have this window of opportunity, I hope some of you will consider my own thoughts on this matter, which don’t really fit in either the “philo-Semitic” or “anti-Semitic” camps.
The facts clearly indicate that Jews are directing our foreign policy, running Hollywood, controlling our media, and dominating our academic institutions. While I always make a point to be patient with the ignorant, I don’t think intelligent people who’ve seriously researched this issue can honestly dismiss the disproportionate role Jews currently have in managing Western Civilization. Personally, I suspect that those who do are often engaging in some sort of “deep game”, one which relies on cultivating a better relationship with our overlords.
But proof that they’re in control isn’t necessarily proof of malice, conspiracy, or causation. Honestly, a lot of the impotent rage toward Jews among the anti-Semites does look and smell an awful lot like the impotent rage that Black advocates like Rev. Wright direct at White folks. Just as some Black Nationalists can swing absolutely any Black problem back to White oppression, some White Nationalists can swing absolutely any White problem back to Jewish oppression. Most problematic of all, these same White Nationalists very often convince themselves that we’re helpless victims, a paralyzing conclusion. It can be, as BNP leader Darby put it recently, little more than a comfortable bed to lie on.
Many anti-Semites rely on the AIDS analogy, explaining that Jews suppress our civilization’s natural impulse to defend its borders, uphold its traditions, and preserve its racial integrity. Allow me to propose an equally unflattering but perhaps more apt analogy: shingles. Most healthy people have had chicken pox and have the the strain of herpes which caused it. If their immune systems are compromised, the typically dormant virus can become active, appearing to be “the” problem. In actuality, the shingles outbreak isn’t the cause; it’s the effect.
Every major civilization has Jews in it. Only ours is completely managed by them. Why did the Jewish colonies in China and India fail to follow the Western template? I propose that it’s because both China and India have their own indigenous managerial castes: Mandarins and Brahmans. The Jews, being a managerial caste, don’t really have an available niche there. The job of managing grain surpluses, keeping the records, and administering the crippling complexity that comes with mature civilizations is already performed by competent and entrenched indigenous elites.
To understand why Jews became the West’s managerial caste requires only that we understand when they started to become our managerial caste. The revolt against the Catholic Church which was triggered by the invention of the printing press and led by Martin Luther (a rabid anti-Semite, himself) toppled the managerial “caste” which had been at the helm of Western Civilization since the Classical Period. Into the power vacuum? Jews.
While Nietzsche was far from a proponent of either Christianity or the Catholic Church, his diagnosis of the root of modernity in the death of God was succinct. It wasn’t some literal “death of God”, but the implosion of the Group Evolutionary Strategy of the West, Christianity, which was the cause of our predicament. The Protestants who believed that they were relieving themselves of a corrupt and exploitative priesthood were only castrating their indigenous priesthood and sending themselves into subjugation to a new one. The myriad Christian sects refrained from literal control under the illusion that the people could control themselves. The “Enlightenment” was little more than the sunlight one enjoys when being transferred from one dungeon to another.
This perspective, which borrows heavily from MacDonald, Gottfried, and assorted Traditionalists, is what I call “evolutionary traditionalism”. One might be able to see now why my focus is less on Jewish behavior and more on the behavior of ourselves and our elites. The Jews, while being omnipresent, are really beside the point. Mere awareness of Jewish behavioral patterns and their potential threat to our society is insufficient, as Martin Luther demonstrated. We need a robust GES and a competent vanguard of indigenous elites prepared to implement and enforce it.
That’s my answer to the Jewish Question.

As I understand it, America was a bit behind the curve on becoming dominated by Jewish influence. In short, the American Revolution was an attempt by the American branch of Freemasons who hadn’t been subverted to get free of England, which had been. As Henry Ford and Charles Lindbergh demonstrate, Jewish power was omnipresent in America well before both the Civil Rights movement and WWII. Though, as you suggest, it wasn’t until after WWII that we went completely off the rails.

After the Catholic Church lost its grip, a managerial elite emerged among the bourgeoisie of Europe which supported the values that capitalists value – those values you describe. This elite formally manifested as Freemasons and led Western Civilization down this path. Every tribe requires programming to save themselves. Neither racialism nor antisemitism are central to my ideology. Though, Martin Luther’s quote about going where the fight is being fought comes to mind. The regime needn’t be a fascist or oppressive one. But there does need to be a self-perpetuating indigenous managerial elite which has been entrusted by the people (through a G.E.S., typically) to engage in stewardship. In India, it’s integrated seamlessly with tradition. Among European fascists, the G.E.S. was almost entirely literal and material in nature.

I’ve read everything Nietzsche has written, though I may not grasp him on the same level you do. He’s notoriously easy to misinterpret and I don’t claim to be an expert. If I misunderstood his perspective on modernity and the death of God then it was my own mistake. I’m not reading notes from some church group.

Your stuff about them seizing indispensable roles is more succinctly understood as them seizing the most valued roles. It should also be noted that this Catholic managerial ‘caste’ had some serious weaknesses. For one Priests and Popes were not allowed to marry and pass on their genes, leading to a loss of valuable genetic material for the next generation. Jewish Rabbis and Hindu Holy Men didn’t have this injunction and have clearly had a better group evolutionary strategy going on when one considers the situation Whites find themselves in.

Why would the managerial skills of a Jew direct them to overthrow racial consciousness when they clearly were going to be accepted into the ruling group? Despite the talk about anti-Jewish quotas at Ivy League schools, the quota at Harvard advocated by President Lowell was 15%. At the time, the Jewish population of Harvard University was 21%. Both of these figures were many times larger than the Jewish percentage of the total American population. My point is that the Jews were going to be integrated into American society anyway and they chose to destroy it. The managerial-caste idea doesn’t explain this.

Jews are really good at show business. They write very popular scripts. Nobody is really stopping gentiles from making films independently. In fact, a lot of Christian and other groups do invest in producing alternatives. They’re generally of markedly lower quality in both concept and execution.

How is that jewish management of our financial system working out?
I’ll drop the Hollywood issue because it’s too complex. I’d have to go through the credits of the top money making films and find gentile directors and writers, and you would find some jew as executive producer and give it the credit.
The financial disaster is a much better example because it’s clearly the fault of jewish management and it’s unmitigated.
Jews don’t have a historic reputation as nation managers, they have a reputation as nation wreckers.

I’m always brought back to the Jewish guy in Citizen Kane. True. I think many Judeoskeptics miss this, and it’s an important point. On the other hand, it lacks the relevance it would have for other groups. Jews have raised self-deception to a high art. In addition to foreign policy, the mass-media, and academia, you forgot that Jews also control large sections of the bureaucratic federal government, the legal system in many states, the medical sector, and of course banking, retail, and macro-economics in general.
Also, according to some of the research I’ve been doing lately, even many of the food distribution and food production networks in the USA are dominated by Jews. I’ve noticed a definite Jewish preponderance when it comes to ownership and management of a lot of these big corporate factory farms (for both crops and meat). Also, I’ve recently found out that Jews own and manage a lot of the grocery store chains in many regions of the USA, and also in the UK and elsewhere. So in addition to all of the above sectors Jews have disproportionate control over our food supply and distribution networks.

Currently, I think the reverse is true. Jews believe in their ability to change (or destroy) society through political activism, whereas our “leaders” no longer think they can change anything. Immigration is forced upon us at the top, and our low level managers have to cope with that. They try to keep society running, in the belief that resistance is futile. In so doing, they are managing our displacement.

As for your analogy, I’m not blaming the girl (folk). I’m blaming her father (elites). Her father is absolutely responsible for failing to defend his neighborhood, for failing to give her the weapons and skills to defend herself, and for failing to pursue justice to the appropriate extent. Sure, throw the rapist in prison. But until women have fathers and husbands prepared to seriously fight back, the crimes will carry on unabated.

Old Right is correct — Jews predominate in managerial roles, yet they generally make terrible managers. Look at the USA nowadays — how is Jewish management working out here? Obviously not very well…the modern USA is clearly under disproportionate Jewish management and control, yet the USA is very much suffering and declining under this Jewish preponderance. Jewish management seems to do decently for a while in some nations, but after a period of decades it then starts to stagnate and fall apart as Jewish corruption grows and grows. Same in the UK, or the former USSR, among many other nations — as Old Right also wrote, Jews have been expelled many times throughout history from dozens of countries, regions, cities, etc.
The wood and termites analogy is good — non-Jewish nations are the wood, whilst Jews are the termites: Jewish termites must infest some wood (a nation) for their own survival and enrichment, but eventually they end up undermining and ultimately destroying the wood (nation) they infest. This is a recurring historical pattern which has occurred time and time again in the Jewish diaspora.
History shows us that Jews are ruiners and nation-wreckers who make terrible managers, generally because they are only in it for personal and/or communal Jewish enrichment and thus do not have the necessary amount of idealism or long-term vision needed for adequately managing masses of non-Jews.
