Inside Trump’s Destruction of the Republican Party

Read the whole story:

“The scenario Karl Rove outlined was bleak.

Addressing a luncheon of Republican governors and donors in Washington on Feb. 19, he warned that Donald J. Trump’s increasingly likely nomination would be catastrophic, dooming the party in November. But Mr. Rove, the master strategist of George W. Bush’s campaigns, insisted it was not too late for them to stop Mr. Trump, according to three people present. …

In public, there were calls for the party to unite behind a single candidate. In dozens of interviews, elected officials, political strategists and donors described a frantic, last-ditch campaign to block Mr. Trump — and the agonizing reasons that many of them have become convinced it will fail. Behind the scenes, a desperate mission to save the party sputtered and stalled at every turn.

Efforts to unite warring candidates behind one failed spectacularly: An overture from Senator Marco Rubio to Mr. Christie angered and insulted the governor. An unsubtle appeal from Mitt Romney to John Kasich, about the party’s need to consolidate behind one rival to Mr. Trump, fell on deaf ears.

At least two campaigns have drafted plans to overtake Mr. Trump in a brokered convention, and the Senate majority leader, Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, has laid out a plan that would have lawmakers break with Mr. Trump explicitly in a general election.” …

Late last fall, the strategists Alex Castellanos and Gail Gitcho, both presidential campaign veterans, reached out to dozens of the party’s leading donors, including the casino magnate Sheldon Adelson and the hedge-fund manager Paul Singer, with a plan to create a “super PAC” that would take down Mr. Trump. In a confidential memo, the strategists laid out the mission of a group they called “ProtectUS.” …

While still hopeful that Mr. Rubio might prevail, Mr. McConnell has begun preparing senators for the prospect of a Trump nomination, assuring them that, if it threatened to harm them in the general election, they could run negative ads about Mr. Trump to create space between him and Republican senators seeking re-election. Mr. McConnell has raised the possibility of treating Mr. Trump’s loss as a given and describing a Republican Senate to voters as a necessary check on a President Hillary Clinton, according to senators at the lunches.

He has reminded colleagues of his own 1996 re-election campaign, when he won comfortably amid President Bill Clinton’s easy re-election. Of Mr. Trump, Mr. McConnell has said, “We’ll drop him like a hot rock,” according to his colleagues.”

This is a beautiful thing Donald Trump has already done for us. Who would have thought this would happen a year ago? We owe him our support on Super Tuesday. Hunter Wallace is officially endorsing Donald J. Trump for president of the United States.

Update: Trump +12 in Kansas.

Note: Check out the tears which are pouring on #NeverTrump on Twitter. Oh, and Jean-Marie Le Pen officially endorsed Trump from France.

    • So that’s why Romney has come out swinging against Rump. If only half of what Stone says is true we could be in for a very wild ride.

      • Romney wanted to run again, but it was “Jeb’s turn”.

Too bad the voters will have none of it.

And how does Trump “doom” the party in November? Trump faces some challenges, but he can prevail if he turns out the Jesse Ventura voter.

    • For those who have wondered why Alex Jones’ voice sounds so gravelly, it could be because he had his voice surgically lowered when he assumed the “Alex Jones” identity about 15 years ago. It is thought that he used to be a comedian named “Bill Hicks.” He may have changed identities because Bill Hicks was somewhat of a leftist.

    • It seems like Trump should accept Cruz’s Supreme Court nominee offer. Trump would win in a landslide if Cruz stepped out endorsing Trump… wouldn’t he?

  1. I think Trump, to the extent I endorse him, it is more because of the way he took down others than his specific policies.

I don’t think he can force Mexico to pay for a wall.
His position on Iran is wrong.
His positions on Iraq and Libya shifted.

But I still want him to get the nomination, mainly because he eliminated a lot of people who needed to be eliminated.

      • I think the way ethnic minorities vote in blocks should convince people that Democracy is a bad idea to begin with, it’s exasperated with racial diversity. However, to support Trump thinking that it’s possible to make the system to work is simply delaying the consciousness of political dissidents. He should only be supported because he’ll hamper US imperialism by blasting off about Muslims and how he wants to take the oil and changing his positions. He knocked off what would have been more effective imperialists.

        • Trump will stop TPP and will not double legal immigration as Rubio wishes. TPP is very bad. With luck, Trump will not grant amnesty either.

And the wall will help separate America from Mexico, symbolically.

Also, he’s gotten some of our arguments out, and with luck, he’ll pass things like improved border-security.

Most importantly with regard to arguments, I’m using Sanders and Trump to hammer how immigration lowers wages. With luck, that argument is going mainstream.

        • Perhaps if Trump still loses or is screwed over by the Republicans in a brokered deal that would be a good thing in the long run if it radicalized the Trump movement.

  2. funny stuff from the Cucks. The national poll that shows Mrs. Clinton up about +3 over Trump is via a 2008-2012 turnout-derived oversampling of Democrat voters. But Trump is now pulling explosive increases in Republican primary turnout, while Clinton is stifling Democrat turnout. In key states (Ohio, Florida), even with the same skewed sample, Trump has already pulled ahead of Hiligula. If nominated – and this is what the Jews and Cucks really fear – Trump will not only win, he will win yuuugely: by c. 55%-45% in the raw vote, and carry c. 40-50 states. There’s only 2 ways the Zionists/donor class/neo-conz can stop Trump:

    1. split the party, as they are now threatening to do, and overtly/covertly support Mrs. Clinton. That will, indeed, kill the Republiscam party as the White middle and working class will then move sharply Rightward and toward a politics by…other means

    2. kill him. Literally. Inasmuch as Trump is now indicating he will go after the Fed – the Central Jewbank – with hammer and tongs, an assassination (via the usual “crazy guy”) is now an increasingly likely possibility. But this will also kill the Republiscam party, and bring ‘Murika another long step toward Civil War II

    • The party built itself to fight a particular type of campaign.

But this parties candidate pool was so phony and synthetic that it just took a blustering Billionaire with a penchant for identity politics, to fuck it hard.

      • What they want, wanted, was a candidate that could credibly loose to Clinton. Unlike the clowns they put up, twice, against Obama. They almost gave the game away in 08′ and 12′.

      • But this parties candidate pool was so phony and synthetic

What a stroke of luck that has been. And to think that this already weak field has only gotten weaker. Cruz started out slimy and has only gotten slimier. Rubio started an empty suit and has only gotten emptier. Carson started out a token negro and only gotten more tokenish.

    • Rest assured, the Democrats have a plan to steal the election, if they can. Communists and their dupes are only 20% of the electorate. Yet the Democrats keep winning elections that they’re effectively unable to win, if things are fair and equal.

      • I wonder if anybody ever reads the Communist party website and realizes how close it is to the rhetoric of the Democrat Party? CPUSA.org

        • Plenty certainly have. I have. Most older folks in our line of political thinking have. Even Rush Limbaugh did on one of his shows in the early nineties.

  3. Addressing a luncheon of Republican governors and donors in Washington on Feb. 19, he warned that Donald J. Trump’s increasingly likely nomination would be catastrophic, dooming the party in November.

Seriously? Karl Rove and company actually are more concerned with Trump actually winning in Nov than anything else. Why else did the cuckservatives exclaim that they will never vote for him and that they would prefer to have Hillary?

If Trump wins, the Republican Party will belong to Trump and not the donors. That’s what frightens them.

  4. I think the way ethnic minorities vote in blocks should convince people that Democracy is a bad idea to begin with, it’s exasperated with racial diversity. However to support Trump thinking that it’s possible to make the system to work is simply delaying the consciousness of political dissidents. He should only be supported because he’ll hamper US imperialism by blasting off about Muslims and how he wants to take the oil and changing his positions. He knocked off what would have been more effective imperialists.

    • If they knew what was good for them they’d just ride the wave, but they are too stupid and/or hardheaded. Rubio and Rand Paul (and maybe even Cruz) have likely destroyed, or at least damaged their careers when all they had to do was just back down while the getting was good and wait out this election cycle, but Rubio is fighting to the bitter end. The more he fights, the worse he makes things for himself. Likewise for the party in general. The notion that “Trump is going to tear the Republican party apart” is hogwash. They are tearing the party apart by digging in their heels against him.

    • Yeah, you’d think that the GOP was just walking down the street minding its own business and not harming anyone when all of a sudden Trump jumped out of the bushes and attacked it with a switchblade.

    • It isn’t called the Stupid Party for nothing. With Trump they have an opportunity to Grand Slam everything if they represented White America. They’ve made it crystal clear that they don’t. They’d rather hold on to their power and cuckservative respectability and foist Hildebeast on us instead.
Yes, these back stabbing rats are doing it to themselves. They are hell bent on going into irrelevancy and obscurity. Trump ripped off their masks and revealed what was there all along.

    • Yes, M’am, Mr. Trump is absolutely the child of the GOP’s false, negligent, corrupt, and two-timing ways.

  5. The Bern got burned in SC. The bought and paid black vote just quashed every white SJW’s little damaged soul, too bad.
Now if blacks from SC do not pay attention to what the SJW say or do, why should I?

  6. If Romney comes in as a third party candidate it will not be to beat Trump but to take enough support away from Trump to make Hillary president.

  7. Regardless of Trump’s sincerity or his actions from this point forward, he’s done a magnificent job of cornering these rats and done what many others before him could never do. He’s forced the Cucks to play defense and had them pull back the curtain on their charade in exchange for the possibility of gaining back some political real estate. They are desperate, and desperate people do and say some really stupid things.

The Cucks of Conservatism Inc. have exposed their hatred for White America and their disdain for all working-class Americans. They simply don’t care about the people that make up the Party, only The Party’s ability to control and manipulate the people stupid enough to vote for them. This isn’t conjecture or some fanciful, paranoid conspiracy theory. This is what they are actually telling you; this is what they write.

If you understand political posturing and business maneuvering, then witnessing the minutiae of this and how it unfolds is truly beautiful to watch.

  8. Has anyone been able to volunteer on a trump campaign? I haven’t had any success trying do so in Illinois.

    • Good luck! You don’t necessarily need to officially volunteer for him, I wouldn’t think.

Just go out and talk to people, or open a twitter account. You can find a tonne of handouts on twitter and facebook.

  9. Donald, please destroy the Establishment GOP; burn it to the ground and p**s on the ashes. Then it can be reconstructed to represent The Polity, not exclusively donors, Globalists, and Marxist Billionaires.

  10. It’s a fight to the death. The Establishment knows that if Trump wins the election, the GOP will continue to exist in name, but establishment types won’t be welcome.

It also seems that Jews are returning to their Bolshevik roots in that you can tell from their rhetoric that they are eager to start slaughtering goys again. Try Max Boot’s twitter.

    • They’ve always been Bolsheviks. Their current strategy is to label all opponents as “liberals”. If you don’t want to blow up foreigners, you’re a liberal. If you don’t want to flood America with Muslims, you’re a “racist”. It’s bizarre.

And they talk up Manifest Destiny, also arguing how if we don’t police the world, things will get very bad, that I’ll regret when the US isn’t a superpower, that we need to ensure Ukraine remains “free”, that sort of thing.

They never like my reply that: we’re mere humans, NATO should be disbanded, a multipolar world is better. And if they accuse me of spouting RT propaganda, I link to antiwar.com

      • We do need to police the world to some extent, we inherited that mantle from the British when we won the Second World War, without our presence there are some minor players who would do some very nasty things. What we don’t want to do is start things like Bush Jr. did in Iraq. Didn’t he learn anything about two front wars from history? We were already committed to keeping some sort of order in Afghanistan that was going to be very expensive. We do need some sort of presence in East Asia to deter the vicious creeps in North Korea and to keep the demilitarized Japan we created safe from a resurgent China. While we don’t want to antagonize the Arabs by backing Israeli expansion, we don’t want to see Israel destroyed by Arab armies and the mass murder that would follow. We really also ought to go back into our canal and null and void that idiot move by Carter to give it away. Panama was a desolate Jungle until the West started the canal project with Caribbean immigrant labor. Handing them over the canal is as stupid as the Emirati’s handing over their 2000 foot Burj Dubai to the Pakistani and Filipino guest workers who built it.

        • Trump wants to work with China to resolve North Korea. Korea needs to be reunited. I think the Neocons are intentionally creating a divide there and in the process encouraging China to arm and seek power.

China is the rightful regional power, including over Japan.

Israel is quite strong, and the US could cease buying Middle East oil. I realise Europe, India, and China would continue to buy, but it would be a step in the right direction. Also, we could not arm the Muslims…

Empire is destroying the South. So for me, the choice is between empire and the obliteration of what I care most about. When taking that perspective, I want to give global empire back to the Brits. Let them pay for it. We can listen to them tell us how superior they are as they flood themselves with immigrants.

TPP is part of the imperial goal. And it calls for potentially uniting America with a number of other polities, into something similar to the EU. There is the potential for open-borders and for the joining of future member states.

        • While one can no longer retreat into isolationism neither should we adopt the opposite extreme by involving ourselves in every war know to man. There is such a thing as winning a war and losing the peace. As Yockey pointed out losing the peace can be more devastating than losing the war. Example; American won the Cold War but lost the peace to the forces of Cultural Marxism.

    • Check out “republican” Cherri Jacobus’s twitter (she was a regular pundit on Faux News for years – probably still is). She’s retweeting pictures by cucks comparing Trump to Hitler. When Trump wins, he needs to purge these types from the party – no accommodation…just purge.

    • The godless, Christkilling jews have NEVER left their ‘Bolshevik’ roots.

Haven’t you ever heard the statement from Rabbi Wise from the 1930’s?

“Some call it Communism, I call it Judaism.”
THEY ARE THE ANTICHRIST RACE. What less could you expect?

  11. There never was any mass support FOR the GOP agenda, rather a reaction AGAINST the democrats and their identity politics. There is no popular demand for getting rid of social security and medicare, tax cuts for billionaires, open border, shipping your job to China, etc. As a matter of fact, this stuff turns off people to such an extent that the swing vote vent for a ‘brother’ who attended Reverend Wrights Church.

  12. It sounds as though the cucks over at National Review are beginning to flip-flop and reverse their earlier opposition to Trump.

    Stay tuned.

  13. If by some miracle Trump does get in, is sincere, and actually does deport the freeloaders, it will demonstrate the big lie that we were “helpless” to do anything about the illegal immigration crisis and their presence therefore was logically the result of treason. I also be we’ll get a real number vastly in excess of the “12 million” lie were being told, at least 30 million, possibly more. When I lived in Oregon they were everywhere, probably 1/3rd of the people I’d see in the stores. No way are they just 12 million. Time to also deport all the elderly relatives of these so called “talented” Asian H1B visa scab workers who are moving here to live out their retirement years courtesy of the taxpayers of the United States. I see several Chinese scab workers at my job, the owner is an alcoholic crackpot Chinaman who arranges work Visas for all these young Chinese girls who agree to sleep with him. Somehow these kids elderly parents all seem to show up here too after a few years. Who on early lets 59 year olds “immigrate” here? How on earth are they going to be anything but a burden? Lets take a good look at how much these people have cost the taxpayers and then go and put a lean on the McMansions these Chinese and Hindus who sponsored their green cards own to pay it off before sending their elderly relatives back home. We really don’t need random police check points to catch the illegal aliens, the best point of contact to find them is when they seek benefits from the taxpayers, that’s where you catch them and how do the pinkos spin stopping welfare fraud as a bad thing?

    • “Who on early lets 59 year olds “immigrate” here? How on earth are they going to be anything but a burden? ”

As someone OLDER than that, with a Doctorate, all my own teeth and hair, and at least TWENTY MORE YEARS OF LIFE LEFT IN ME in my profession, I resent that comment, you young punk!

Give a White Man a chance to prove he can WORK, rather than be sloughed off for some twenty-something Kid, who’s nothing more than a smartass with an MA and no experience, for the love of God! I know many educated White Males, who would move to Russia, or any White country, if they could only GET A JOB in their chosen field. And would BENEFIT THE NATIONS THEY EMIGRATED TO- but instead, Merkel et al. allow low-IQ Moslem scum to ‘refugee’… but WE can’t choose OUR futures?

No WONDER we need Trump. When even the young ‘conservatives’ treat their elders as if we were useless cordwood, only ready to be burned, we are at a nadir in our civilization’s history. Hell, if Hitler himself would promise a decent nation that would care for ALL its citizenry, I’d vote him in, willingly, rather than suffer such ignominy from a nabob such as you.

      Shame on you!

  14. The enemy knows that Trump is fully aware of what is really going on. On a global scale. The biggest problem for the enemy is that his supporters do, too. That is a barrier that will be impossible to break with any amount of psychological warfare. Their grip was weakened long before Trump. Trump is the opportunity long waited for.

Even their derogatory label, this time “Trumpsters” (I guess because it rhymes with dumpsters), won’t stick. If we must be called something Trump, let us call ourselves “Trumpets” as in sounding the call for a new revolution.

  15. Why is David Duke endorsing Donald Trump? I agree that Trump is the best hope for those that want to preserve our culture and standard of living. However, now Duke has caused a distraction that is putting Trump off message and on the defensive. I think that Duke should not have involved himself.

    • Neither should Jared Taylor. However, the alt-right is filled with self-interested dupes who have no grasp of tactics. No wonder these people never got any where.

      • Dammit, folks. You act as if pussyfooting around the issue of White GENOCIDE, and Jewish DOMINATION, are somehow just going to ‘go away’ if we don’t speak out for our race, our religion, and our heritage?

If Taylor, Duke, and Ronald Reagan (from the grave) were to endorse Trump, are y’all such COWARDS that you can’t even put a bumper sticker on your car, or a placard in your front yard? THIS IS OUR NATION, NOT THEIRS!

        arrrrrrgggghhh.

        • Correct.

When Duke commented positively about Trump last week I knew that the media would follow the playbook of demanding that Trump “denounce” him. They are as predictable as they are stupid.

Duke does not work for Trump. Duke is not friends with Trump. Duke is not associated in any way with Trump. I cannot say the same for Barack Obama’s numerous questionable relationships – which to this day he has not denounced or disavowed. He only distanced himself from Wright – his personal mentor and “pastor,” when it became politically unbearable.

We have a nation of over 300 million people. Should each candidate be shown a list of their supporters who lack the moral perfection of the average news reader and Huffington Post commenter?

I didn’t watch the news at all this weekend, because no matter which channel you watch it is either Zionist and/or liberal. In a word: Jewish. I therefore have no idea how Trump is handling this ginned-up “scandal,” but I hope he does not play into it or dance to their tune. There are very few out here in the real world whogive a damn, and those who do would not vote for Trump in a million years anyway.

      • Duke didn’t “endorse” Donald Trump – just made some positive comments about Trump’s positions on immigration, Middle East wars suggestion regular people volunteer on Trump campaigns network.

I agree Jared Taylor was out of line for doing robo calls bandwagoning on the Trump campaign.

In these situations it’s best to keep quiet “I have nothing to say”.

          • And, Laguna Beach Fogey, Dr. Duke (while I disagree with him on many points) came out with a very clear explanation of why he has every right to tell his readers/viewers whom HE thinks is the best president… and he also pointed out that it is the TRIBE who is demeaning HIM, and refusing to use his honorific (Doctor of History, PhD) in ALL mention of his name. He also pointed out that other politicians (Byrd, Truman) were members of the KKK, but THEY are never tarred and feathered by association… because Dr. Duke NAMES THE JEW, and it is this ALONE that has made him a pariah.

So, if the JEWS dislike Trump so much (because their deeds are evil, and will be uncovered in a Trump Presidency) all the better. STRIP THE MASK AWAY from the Christkillers.

    • I would encourage people to actually listen to his broadcasts and you will see he does have some serious reservations about Trump. Duke does a political program. Would it be wise to ignore the Trump candidacy as if it did not exist when it has inspired tens of millions of angry whites? Where is the logic in that?

    • Totally agree. What was his intention? He had to know it would cause a problem for Trump going into Super Tuesday. I know a lot of people are not going to like the following comment but I will never forget it. Eustace Mullins, the great researcher of the 20th Century, felt that there was a high probability that David Duke was controlled.

      youtube dot com/watch?v=vVbmwkFRDRo

      Sorry, I’m behind Eustace Mullins.

  16. Gentlemen, you are, of course, aware that The Honorable Senator from Alabama, Mr. Jeff Sessions, just endorsed Mr. Donald Trump for President. Great comment at the treehouse: (I’m paraphrasing) Ted Cruz: “Huh? wut? I sold my soul to the devil, and all I got was this lousy endorsement by Glenn Beck.”

  17. I have always thought an excellent poster for the Alt Right would be an eagle choking a donkey in his left talon and an elephant in his right representing the Lunatic Left and the Retarded Right. The caption would say: For American To Live They Must Die!

  18. Mr. Trump’s attacks on Ted Cruz have been reprehensible, but, Mr. Rubio’s attacks on Mr. Trump were unspeakably vile, in this last debate.

The politicks of personal destruction hit a low not seen since the days of Andrew Jackson?

    • Rubio, being a faggot, has no moral center. He’s a soulless ROBOT.

Cruz actually may believe the crap he’s spouting, initially to ‘win’ the CuckTian Evan-jelly-goo vote, but now finds his own sinful duplicity to come back on him. And rightly so.

Two Beaners, fighting an old White Man…. the image of the War we are engaged in, OD readers.

      Trump or War!
      2016

      God Wills it.

      • Dear Father,
I thank you for your thoughts, here. I did not know that Mr. Rubio was gay. Yes, I think Mr,. Cruz believes what he is saying. His behavior is quite consistent, over the years.

‘Trump or War 2016 God wills it’.

Interesting, Father. I have not considered in in exactly those terms. What I have said, around my community, is that : ‘if Miss Hillary is elected, don’t be surprised if a very uncivil civil war is soon upon us.’

        God bless you, Father.

        • Mr. Leskov- We do not KNOW (officially) if Ru-B-0 is gay. But the evidence is pretty damning.

And his behaviour merely confirms the curse of Romans 1, with his BS rhetoric against Mr. Trump.
And Rubio IS and always WILL BE, part of the Gang of Eight.

          • Well, yes – I certainly agree that Senator Rubio, under any circumstance, is not a choice for me.

Certainly I bear him no personal grudge, but, all the same, I realize he is a part of the Yankee/Government-Corporate Oligarchical campaign to reduce White Southerners to a voiceless minority in our own lands.

I understand Mr. Rubio holds the Yankee dream of America : the endless hotel of opportunity for everyone in the world. I, however, being a Southerner, do not share his dreams for me and mine; and it looks like you do not, either.

            Have a wonderful night, Father.

  19. The Aryan Nations of Missouri “disavows” Donald Trump. Amurrikwa ZOG/Babylon the Third and Final needs to be put down like every Mighty Evil Empire, not restored like The Donald wants to do.

David Duck is on the take, however. Probably gambling the thirty thousand pieces of silver in riverboat gambling.

  20. You cannot kill that which is already dead. The GOP is a zombie creature, it only wants to kill those who gave it birth, and the only thing to do with it is destroy it with a head shot.

  21. I’ve never been more hopeful for my country in the last 30 years or so. I was looking at Roger Stone stuff. Roger is a former Trump adviser who was a big shot in the Republican party. He says outright that Trump will look into 9-11. I’ve also been reading that many in the CIA and FBI were really pissed that the 9-11 investigations were blocked at the upper levels and that they have Trumps back. Stone has hinted about 9-11. He said something “hinkey” was going on but now he’s coming out and saying 9-11 will be investigated. It means that people in high places really do have Trumps back. You guess where any investigation into 9-11 will lead. I’m so happy. Here’s the interview with Roger Stone. Yes I know it’s on Alex Jones. I don’t what to think about Jones. I always thought he was a Jewish shill but maybe not??? Who knows.

    http://www.infowars.com/breaking-insider-leaks-koch-bros-rubio-plan-to-stop-trump/

The only way I can see this as not being good news is if Trump is a huge Trojan horse that will immediately get into office and turn into Stalin. I find that hard to believe. If it were true the Jews would have to at least try less hard to derail him.

  22. “Trump is on the verge of destroying the Republican Party”

I forgot to say in my prior post…. You say that….LIKE IT’S A BAD THING.

  23. Ben Stein: “When asked what this means for Republican Party in four years, Stein said, “Terrifying. Terrifying. Very, very upsetting. But the party has declined culturally. The party has gotten to be not the party that it used to be. I’ll still support it of course. But it will be a disaster. I’m very scared of Mr. Trump. I’m terrified of him…He is a real cult figure. He is the voice of George Wallace of our era without being a racist. He is the voice of the ordinary citizen standing in line at the Walmart. And he is going to be a figure to be reckoned with. I’m not even sure Hillary can beat him. He is the voice of the unspoken unwashed voice of the people coming down from the hollers and they are very angry.”

  25. http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/03/01/national-review-jeff-sessions-is-a-prostitute-for-endorsing-donald-trump/

National Review, a once-venerable conservative publication, has officially gone off the rails entirely, publishing an article calling Sen. Jeff Sessions

a “prostitute” for endorsing billionaire Donald Trump for the GOP presidential nomination.

That abominable attack on perhaps the most revered conservative in the U.S. Senate ran in a National Review piece arguing that anyone who endorses Trump is a “rat” that is “scurrying” and is also a “sellout.”

“The Rats Are Scurrying: Republican Officeholders Who Endorse Trump Are Sellouts,” reads the headline of the article.
