My name might be on the ballot right now, but that ballot line belongs to the people of Maine. pic.twitter.com/RKVyLU76tm

Actually, Kyle, you threw a man under the bus because Republican women found him problematic. Perhaps YOU should listen to Trump supporters less. https://t.co/S24VEtQzkf

Every Democrat that endorsed Graham Platner endorsed a rapist.

Everyone must accept that American political affairs will be fundamentally dictated by a constant parade of rape claims — always and everywhere, rape rape rape — but also, you must not ever think too critically about it, or you will be declared as complicit in the constant raping

Scream RAPE!!!!!!!! and all factional distinctions in the Democratic Party miraculously vanish. "DSA" renegades and "establishment" fogies will both instantly cower into the same mandatory cucking posture

The defenestration of Platner is one for the ages. Received the highest Dem primary vote in Maine history less than a month ago. Then, BOOM: skeevy PR operatives get everyone to scream RAPE!!!! — and switch off their brains — and now Party chieftains get to pick their own nominee

I never believed Stormy Daniels or E. Jean Carroll.
I don’t believe any of these unsubstantiated accusations against Graham Platner either. I’m tired of political operatives weaponizing bullshit accusations of sexual assault. The accusations against Eric Swalwell are a different story, for example, because what he did was caught on video.
We saw what happened to Bernie Sanders in 2020 when party insiders fixed the Democratic primary for Joe Biden. Then we saw what happened when the same party insiders forced a Democratic president who had won the primary to suspend his campaign. The same thing has happened to Graham Platner who won his primary and his accusations against the Democratic Party establishment are credible.
Anyway, it is clear that this is the first big monkey wrench thrown into Democratic momentum heading into the midterms. If Trump’s war with Iran for Israel hadn’t resumed, Democratic infighting might have driven the news cycles and taken some of the focus and pressure off the GOP.
Note: Richard Spencer and Michael Tracey have been on point on this.
