Michael Flynn Has Resigned As National Security Adviser

I never paid any attention to this bullshit surrounding Michael Flynn.

I’m shocked and disappointed that Michael Flynn has resigned. It is a huge mistake to feed the beast. This is only going to encourage more vicious attacks on the Trump administration from the Lügenpresse. It shows weakness and it will embolden the enemy. Who cares what these people think? The vast majority of Trump supporters don’t care what conservative pundits think either.

  1. Flynn pretty much had to go. Too many dark clouds surrounding him. Let’s hope (((Elliot Abrams))) or some Neocon doesn’t worm worm their way into NSA Advisor.

      • The left may attack Bannon, but those attacks will be futile if there’s no fire in the form of an actual Bannon scandal to go along with the Leftist smoke.

        • Its a mistake to think there was an actual scandal in the Flynn case and also a mistake to believe that the media needs a scandal – they manufacture them quite easily, just like they manufactured this one. What has been most surprising is the number of right-wing people nodding along in agreement with CNN, “yep, he sure did have to step down over this, only possible way forward.”

    • That’s exactly what kikes do, they worm their way into power, especially when it comes to intelligence-related agencies.

  2. They concocted a bullshit cover story, the real reason: putting Iran “on notice”.

In back channels, Flynn’s name has been flying around all weekend because of that, and he had to go. Neocons raus!

    • “They concocted a bullshit cover story, the real reason: putting Iran “on notice”.

I don’t know what you mean, but Philip Giraldi wrote an article (link) saying he was afraid Flynn might start a war with Iran.

      • I agree with you Armoric, I don’t understand what Afterthought meant either. But I didn’t want to say anything, for fear of being made fun of.

      • Meh. This happens in every incoming Administration. Mel Bradford, Al Haig, Zoe Baird, Kimba Wood, Linda Chavez, Bill Richardson, Tom Daschle, and now Flynn. Its really not a big deal.

        • Remember when that coon Jocelyn Elders was forced to resign as Slick Willie’s Surgeon General because she made some crazy remark about masturbation? Good time, good times…

          • A sinecure job for a black, instead of trenchwarfare with Jeh and Lynch, oh those were the days.

          • I think Elders’ son was even arrested for smoking crack. Clinton only gave bs jobs like Transportation Secretary to minorities. True tokenism.

        • Once you cuck, every subsequent cuck becomes easier. It’s true that this happens all the time. Then again, it is also true this weakness was the main reason people were so disenchanted with the GOP. We would expect this from Ryan or McConnell.

  3. It’s not ideal, but Flynn really was becoming a liability after the whole lying-to-the-VP thing.

I wouldn’t worry about Bannon or anyone else just yet. They can scream “racist” all they want, but without a real verifiable scandal, the lefties can’t really do anything. That was made clear during the campaign.

  4. I don’t believe his resignation had anything to do with the Lefties or their attacks or even Russia. There was something amiss and his departure was based on a lapse of trust. It might not have been anything underhanded but the lapse was unrecoverable as it should be.

His replacement will tell us everything.

  5. They were gunning for him well before he was appointed by Trump.

    Interesting article on Flynn.

    Who Is General Michael Flynn?
by Justin Raimondo, July 11, 2016

    -snip-

‘Before serving as head of the DIA, Flynn was the Senior Intelligence officer with JSOC, the elite military command that directs Special Forces operations throughout the world: essentially the spearhead of the fight against terrorism. For him to see Washington pursue a policy of actively aiding our sworn enemies, nurturing the terrorist nests that were springing up in Syria and Libya – all in the name of the “war on terrorism” – was simply too much for him to bear in silence. That DIA report was a direct challenge to the administration’s policy, and it wasn’t long before he was asked to resign, or be fired.

Asked if ISIS wouldn’t be where they are today if the invasion of Iraq had never happened, Flynn replied: “Absolutely. …The historic lesson is that it was a strategic failure to go into Iraq.” He added:

“First we went to Afghanistan, where al-Qaeda was based. Then we went into Iraq. Instead of asking ourselves why the phenomenon of terror occurred, we were looking for locations. This is a major lesson we must learn in order not to make the same mistakes again.”

As Ron Paul put it, “Flynn is no non-interventionist. But he does make the connection between the US invasion of Iraq and the creation of ISIS and other terrorist organizations, and he at least urges us to consider why they seek to attack us.”

The War Party is already ginning up a campaign against Flynn, smearing him as a “tool” of the Kremlin because he – like Trump – advocates cooperating with Russia, rather than starting World War III. They point to his attendance at a social function where he – gasp! – actually sat next to Vladimir Putin! The same neo-McCarthyites who point to Trump’s business ties to Russia as “evidence” that he’s a Manchurian candidate, are pushing the same party line against Flynn.’ -snip-

  6. Disappointing. The admin shouldn’t play their game. I don’t care if Flynn had a sleepover and a pillow fight with Putin – the point is I liked that he had been with Trump during the campaign trail and he didn’t seem to want to go charging in to foreign countries. Breibart will be loving this drama.

  7. Who was spying on Flynn and why??

The phone calls between Flynn and Kislyak were first reported by Washington Post columnist David Ignatius.

  8. ‘This is only going to encourage more vicious attacks on the Trump
administration from the Lügenpresse. It shows weakness and it will
    embolden the enemy.’

That’s exactly what I said to my wife, last night.

  9. Airheads Pelosi and Cummings

    http://ntknetwork.com/nancy-pelosi-falls-victim-to-fake-flynn-twitter-account/

During a press briefing held by House Democrats regarding the resignation of National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi cited a tweet from a phony Michael Flynn Twitter account that claimed Flynn viewed himself as the “sole scapegoat” of the controversy surrounding his resignation.

It’s not surprising that Pelosi viewed the tweet in question as factual as both The New York Times and Newsmax had reported on it as such earlier in the day.

DC Examiner’s Gabby Morrongiello pointed out that Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) had also fallen victim to the fake tweet in his prepared remarks:

.@RepCummings sends out his own remarks from this AM, fails to note that it was a fake Mike Flynn account that sent the “scapegoat” tweet

  10. Now that the (((media))) knows that the “X betrayed Trump” narrative works on right-wingers, they will portray anyone they want to get rid of as “betraying Trump” and that will (1) make Trump unable to deny their allegations without seeming weak, and (2) give conservatives an excuse to nod along in agreement with CNN. Situation is fuggged.

  11. Ain’t happening, fat boy.

    Michael Moore ? @MMFlint
He’s only first to go. One by one they will drop until the so-called president is told “you’re fired.” Up next, Miller & Bannon.

  12. One of the main reasons I supported Trump is I thought he had guts, when I hadn’t been voting Republican over last ten years. I hope he doesn’t turn out to be like Nixon, standing around taking everybody’s shit and then being run out of office.

  13. Flynn was not entirely truthful when questioned by Trump and Pence.

Trump had no choice but to ask for his resignation.

The real story is who has been monitoring the discussions and who is leaking information to the media.

  14. Grab the Popcorn. Bannon and Miller are trying to kneecap Priebus and Spicer.

We can only hope the GOPe wing is forced out of the White House. The GOPe wing is responsible for forcing out Flynn, now they’re responsible for Spicer’s statement that Trump wants Putin to cede back Crimea to Ukraine.

If this is from Breitbart, you know Bannon is leaking this. We want Bannon to purge the GOPe cucks and fight the Deep State CIA spooks who get fat off hostilities with Russia.

Director Of Secret Service Has Resigned, Was Selected By OBAMA
    http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2017/02/director-secret-service-resigned-selected-obama/

The Washington Post is reporting that the Director of the Secret Service has resigned. Joseph P. Clancy was brought back from the private sector in 2014 by former President Barack Obama.

Clancy was brought on after the agency became bogged down with security breaches and employee misconduct.

    From the Washington Post:

On Tuesday, House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) said Clancy’s departure provides an opportunity to put an outsider atop the Service.

“A fresh set of eyes and new perspective is needed to restore the prestige and status expected of such an elite agency,” he said in a statement.
