I love to eat this dish with a side of Roasted Brussels Sprouts and dip it in Thousand Island Dressing.
Note: I grew up hating Brussels Sprouts until I found this recipe
That looks delicious, and marvelously simple. I wonder if stirring a bit of Lipton’s onion soup mix into the beef broth would improve it, or perhaps make it needlessly over complicated.
Might I suggest as additional sides, maple-glazed roasted carrots, and thick-sliced, lightly seared beefsteak tomato slices, drizzled with olive oil, oregano, parsley, and garlic.
