The New York Times has written an amusing article called “Race to the Right.”
If I keep working on this “metapolitical project” to “restore sanity” in the United States, I will create a discourse so attractive, a political coalition so great, that will solve so many problems, that even African-Americans will convert to conservatism.
I’m quite sure the “Army of Northern Virginia” (an amusing reference to smart people who live there today) can defeat the New York Times in this one.
“The party has moved so far to the right that there is little difference between fringe and mainstream.”
This is going to be their own Appomattox. We are tired of hearing them talk down to us. Everyone has the means to talk back to them.
