Thomas Edsall goes on to say that the priorities of the new Democratic majority coalition will be dispensing with the White working class and taxing them to spend their money on social programs that cater to African-Americans and Hispanics like EBT cards, TANF welfare, and unemployment compensation and pushing for new reforms like restrictive environmental laws, gay marriage, and amnesty for illegal aliens.

Texas and Florida cannot afford Ron Paul’s foolish libertarian position on immigration. I’m not voting for Ron Paul. I voted for him in 2008 and regret not voting for Tancredo.
If Ron Paul was a serious candidate, he wouldn’t be taking a position on immigration to the left of Newt Gingrich and Rick Perry. Michele Bachmann is by far the best candidate on immigration in the race.
The best thing about this race so far is the spectacular implosion of Herman Cain. We couldn’t have asked for a better scenario. Gullible conservatives are fooled into supporting the black candidate who lies to them. He turns out to be a liar and a scumbug.
