Tales From Detroit: “Enter At Your Own Risk”

Michigan

H/T Drudge

Here’s another story from the D that writes itself:

“DETROIT (WWJ) – The men and women of the Detroit Police Department believe the city is too dangerous to enter, and they want citizens to know it.

Detroit Police Officer Association (DPOA) Attorney Donato Iorio said officers are holding the “Enter At Your Own Risk” rally at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in front of Comerica Park to remind the public that the officers are overworked, understaffed, and at times, fearful for their lives.

“Detroit is America’s most violent city, its homicide rate is the highest in the country and yet the Detroit Police Department is grossly understaffed,” Iorio told WWJ’s Kathryn Larson. “The DPOA believes that there is a war in Detroit, but there should be a war on crime, not a war on its officers.” . . .

  1. Sometimes I wonder how many officers are skulking around the shadows when off duty with a high-powered rifle.

If someone was doing that, I doubt the outside world would ever hear about it. What are the odds the police even respond to niggers getting shot or the media bothers to write it up when there are no witnesses and no chance for the family to win the nigger lottery?

  2. The police union produced this brochure. The motivation is probably bargaining for a new contract, but it doesn’t mean they’re wrong. But even if Detroit had 10,000 competent cops, it wouldn’t be much better. The population demographics speak all.

  3. Stats on missing blacks might, just might, open up a can of worms. I’d go the death squad route like Brazil does if I were a copper. The courts and prisons do not deliver justice.

  4. If you have ever watched “Hardcore Pawn” you understand what the problem is, not only in Detroit, but in Amurrica.

  5. These are the men and women who we look to protect us… and police officers can’t protect you if they’re not there.

First, no cop is ever going to “protect us” in any real sense of the word. By the time the cop shows up, the report is probably ready to be written.

Second, did I miss it, or did Kathryn “I’m a Southern Bell ” Larson forget to mention negroes in her article? How can anyone write a column about crime in Detroit and forget to mention negroes? What are they teaching in journalism school, these days? I guess it’s OK to write about the what, when, where, and why, but nothing about the who…

  6. “Afterthought says:
    October 7, 2012 at 1:31 am
    Detroit: fix, or divorce?”

    Fix? Can’t be fixed.
Diveorce? The Nogs folow Whites wherever we go. Why allow The Worst o’ de Worst to evacuate to therplaces, and Deee-troy-ize another halpesss population?

    Nope.

    “Missiles” are the only answer.

  7. What Makes Detroit a War Zone?

    Not Rust Belt economy;
    In Pittsburgh, things are fine.
    Guns rampant in society?
    Geneva has no crime.
Education failure? Or can it be that we
    Refuse to recognize the cause
    So obvious to see?

  8. According to the FBI (for whatever that’s worth), the 2011 violent crime ranking was Oakland, St Louis, Detroit , and at number one, Flint. Of course a lot of it depends upon how crime is ranked, what crimes are being ranked, and the willingness of police agencies to accurately report crime. My guess is that you can take the stats and add 10 to 15% to whatever figure is given.

The main point from any of this is to note that wherever blacks hang, expect trouble.
