As I recall Jim Giles himself once proposed forming “legal posses” – he placed great stress on legal – to hunt down political enemies.

Obviously. The point was and is these things happen. The enemy media will use their megaphone to make hay out of them. There’s nothing to be gained by helping them do that. Instead use increased media focus and public attention on any issue to push our own memes related to that issue i.e. surf on their megaphone.
For example, when they’re using their megaphone to talk about

Exactly. The slave-based sugar plantations the Jews ran in the Moorish Empire from c. 700s AD to the 1400s AD were stopped by the Spanish Reconquista so they moved their operations to Portugal and from there to Brazil – hence why Brazil imported an order of magnitude more African slaves than anywhere else.
This is specifically why bullshit films like 12 years a slave are so corrosive.
