The Cuckservative Conscience

Where is the #LyingPress firestorm? Where are the Democratic Senators stabbing Hillary in the back and demanding she drop out of the race?

They’re playing politics. That’s what they are doing. That’s why you haven’t seen a single Democratic senator disavow Hillary. That’s why you haven’t seen so much as a single article trashing their own nominee over Comey reopening the FBI investigation. That’s why the Democrats aren’t having a public meltdown on the Sunday shows.

Just think about where we were three weeks ago: on the evening of Friday, October 7th, I was on a dinner date with my wife at an Irish restaurant. When we left the restaurant, I learned about the two October surprises that had just come out: the Wikileaks release (Hillary had told a group of Brazilian bankers she wants open trade and open borders in the Western hemisphere) and the Access Hollywood tape.

What happened next? While both Trump and Hillary had gotten equally bad news, only the Access Hollywood tape caused a #LyingPress firestorm. By Saturday, 1/3 of the Republican Senate and 1/4 of all elected Republicans had trashed Trump and disavowed him. By Sunday, Sen. Mike Lee was on Meet The Press demanding that Trump drop out of the race altogether so that Mike Pence could replace him.

Fastforward to Friday, October 28: FBI Director James Comey announces he is reopening the FBI investigation into Hillary’s email over Weinergate. The Justice Department attacks Comey. The Democrats attack Comey. The #LyingPress attacks Comey. Saturday is a quiet day in which no news is made. Sunday is equally quiet.

Why is there such a stark difference?

1.) First, conservatism isn’t a political movement. Politics is about power. It is about friend versus enemy. In contrast, conservatism is about moral grandstanding, virtue signaling, displaying your status, maintaining your respectability and one upping each other with constant displays of I’m-more-Christian-than-you-are.

2.) Second, the role of conservatives in the system is to lose. If they have a strong chance of winning the election and changing public policy in their favor, they will find a way to lose. Usually, they prefer to nominate a candidate like Romney in which they can lose gracefully. If they have to though, they can get very nasty and vote for a spoiler candidate like Evan McMullin or vote for the Democrat in order to secure a defeat.

This is something you don’t see on the Left. You don’t see leftists going out of their way to impress conservatives in order to show them “I’m one of the good ones.” You might see some disaffection, but you don’t see them ripping apart their own candidate. You don’t see them touting losing as a moral virtue. That’s the most important difference. For conservatives, defeat is a moral vindication of one’s own superiority.

Conservatives have fought Trump harder than any candidate – Democratic or Republican – in my entire life. They’ve attacked Trump far more viciously than Hillary Clinton. The Left’s greatest advantage over the Right is that they aren’t burdened by a similar class of cuckservative losers. It’s hard not to reflect on this after what we have seen this weekend (crickets) compared to the spectacle we saw three weeks ago.

Note: It’s hard to look at preening, sanctimonious cucks like Erick Erickson and David French and conclude bad preaching isn’t the culprit here.

  1. It’s worse than that.

Have you heard any unified statements from Republicans calling on Hillary to drop out of the race? Where’s Jeb, Romney and Kasich?

If it was just about virtue signaling this would be the perfect time for the GOP to do it and yet – crickets.

What is going on at the top of the GOP is more sinister than simply virtue signaling. It is about the New World Order.

  2. Respecting the left is cuckservatism’s number one priority. Trump isn’t doing that and that’s why they’re attacking him more than Hillary. Yes, cuckservatives are virtue signaling losers.

  3. The Cucks reflect the horrific abuse that ALL White Patriots endure, at the hands and mouths of Cucked White Retard Zogbots. I’ve always gotten the worst, most brutal, relentless pushback from other whites, when I sound the alarm of White Genocide.
We cannot endure THEM any longer, among us. Dante considered traitors to be the worst criminals of all. Traitors must GO.

  4. Yes, isn’t it sad and downright seditious that they save their most potent and outraged vitriol for their own candidate, the candidate chosen by their own constituencies? These Cucks are worse than SJWs.

  5. They are not losers. The rank and file republicans who supported them are losers. David French, Ben Sasse, Jeff Flake can count on a well funded (((neocon))) machinery for well paying jobs for the rest of their lives.. Compare their lives to the fate of real conservatives who stood by their principles, Joe Sobran, Mel Bradford and Sam Francis.

  6. There was a time when Democrats did not march in lock-step like they do now. RFK ran against his enemy LBJ and Ted Kennedy ran against Jimmy Carter. But there is something about the Clinton mafia that terrorizes all party opposition into silence.

  7. Cuckservatives are looking at the BLM (especially), ISIS and illegal immigration gift horses in the mouth. This shit should be pay dirt for Republicans. Alas they are cucks through and through.

  8. Because “conservatives” take up space, a political movement with some genuine appeal to the interests of voters . . . couldn’t happen (until this time). So, they really are a detriment.

They are lamenting that Rubio (or even Jeb!) wasn’t the nominee. Oh, that would be a sure thing against Clinton. Nonsense. Neither Rubio nor Jeb would campaign in Washington, Oregon or California. It wasn’t Trump who lost those states for the Republicans.

Democrats are so aggressive about locking in the minority vote that it should turn off white voters in very white states (like Washington and Oregon as well as all of New England, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, etc.). Why or how has the Republican Party developed such a brand stink that they cannot compete in a state like Minnesota?

  9. I defended establishmentarians “conservatives” for years, and stated on many occasions how over-the-top and obsessive I thought some of the attacks on them from paleocons were. The old, “you’re my 80% friend, not my 20% enemy” theme. I did this because I believed that, despite disagreement and shortsightedness on immigration, race and other questions important to me, they were basically “good men.”

But this election revealed to me they do NOT think of ME as a “good man!” More of a benighted hick they’re embarrassed to have as an ally, despite three decades of unflinching electoral fidelity to them!

They needn’t worry. If Trump loses, my Republican voter registration will be gone, without reservation!

    • They are acolytes of Ayn Rand, who was a crypto communist Jew and a progenitor of godless open borders globalism plaguing the West today…?

The banksters need a war desperately right now. They’ve tried so hard in Syria and it just hasn’t worked. Now they’ve got crazy Trump actually saying we should stay out of the Middle East and focus on our own problems, and people are listening… What’s a self-respecting globalist financier to do?

Without the US military killing people and breaking things, there is no future growth path for them. So they send their puppets like Kasich and Romney out to talk up the fight against “evil” and threaten Russia and China, hoping to fool those dumb white ‘Murkins one more time into sending their sons off to die for God and Country and Goldman Sachs.?

The IMF Jéws are in bed with the Turks, Saudis, and NATO, they are worried about a Trump audit of the Federal Reserve… and about Trump and Putin teaming up to destroy them once and for all…? Trump is a vote for peace, and peace does not make money for the weapon industry. The pseudo secular media and their Zíonist masters profit from destabilization.

Retaining control of US foreign policy is what drives Hillary’s flying monkeys… along with the millions Goldman Sachs and the Saudis have paid her.

  10. Bad theology is indeed the culprit. The “church” has become the Devil’s Playground because of cucks in the pulpit.

    • “The Jewish doctrine of Marxism rejects the aristocratic principle of Nature and replaces the eternal privilege of power and strength by the mass of numbers and their dead weight.”

Bravo. In the 1944 some folk also finally understood that they need sturmgewehr istead of intellectual analysis “whatwemustsayordotoappeasetheredarmy”

This is the war. When you try to shoot carefully for not hurting the enemy, you just lose the war. I live in the country where is zero mosque and one and single reason is that we pointed the enemy right in the first place and we finished off liberals.

Leave the muslims niggers and jews alone and finish off the white race traitors. There will be be no immigrants and jews when you don,t have white race traitors who will vote them to power.

  12. Hunter, I love the evolution I’ve seen you go through over the years. You succinctly and very accurately described modern Conservatives with one sentence: “conservatism is about moral grandstanding, virtue signaling, displaying your status, maintaining your respectability and one upping each other with constant displays of I’m-more-Christian-than-you-are.”

  13. Evan McMullin @Evan_McMullin
Will Utah GOP leaders continue to stand with @realDonaldTrump and white nationalists’ as they attack my faith and spread baseless lies?

  14. Washington (CNN)Ohio Gov. John Kasich voted Monday for 2008 Republican nominee John McCain instead of for 2016 Republican nominee Donald Trump.

Kasich wrote in McCain’s name at the top of the ticket, Kasich spokesman Chris Schrimpf said, on his absentee ballot.
Kasich ran against Trump for the Republican nomination, and has been a prominent holdout ever since dropping out of the race in May. He has long promised not to support Trump in November, but he had not previously said who he planned to support instead.
Kasich’s vote was first reported by the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
