The Democratic-led chamber approved the sweeping immigration bill, dubbed the DREAM and Promise Act of 2019, by a vote of 237 to 187, sending the legislation to the Republican-controlled Senate, which is unlikely to consider it. The White House has also issued a veto threatagainst the measure.

This is more failure theater.
Both sides are trying to rile up their base in advance of the 2020 elections. The Democrats don’t want to pass the DREAM Act. They want to use it as a political football and blame the Republicans for blocking it. Blompf has said on multiple occasions that he supports amnesty for DREAMers.
Note: I will say though that in light of this and the Equality Act and the record illegal immigration and the latest wave of corporate censorship from Silicon Valley and the threat to convene an Inquisition to go after White Nationalists that the best positive accelerationist strategy might just be to tune out of politics as a choice between progressive fundamentalists and “free market” conservatives and lolbertarians isn’t really much of a choice at all for populist voters.

The first time I realized that whites in the USA are quite at ease with the invasion was a few years ago when I was in elementary school. It was a school night and it was Cinco De Mayo. But my family had forgotten. In Mexico it is a secondary holiday. But big in Texas.
So it was 8:30 at night and we went to a Tex-Mex restaurant for supper. The place was surprisingly packed for a weekday and we had to wait in the lobby for a booth. I asked the hostess in Spanish why so crowded on a school night. She said it was Cinco de Mayo. Yet every patron in the restaurant was anglo!!! So white people were celebrating something most of us could not care less about.
