Republican Senators Slam Trump Refugee Cuts In Open Letter

Ann Corcoran of Refugee Resettlement Watch observes that the charge is being led by Sen. James Lankford of Oklahoma.

The Oklahoman:

“Sen. James Lankford on Friday came out against the Trump administration’s plan to reduce the number of refugees allowed into the United States.

“I’m disappointed to see that the administration has once again decided to decrease the number of refugees we allow into our country,” Lankford, R-Oklahoma City, said.

“Over the last few months, the Department of Homeland Security implemented multiple policies that have resulted in a decrease in migrants at the U.S. southern border.

“While I appreciate the administration’s focus on curbing illegal immigration and caring for asylum seekers, that doesn’t mean we should continue to reduce the admittance of refugees who are fleeing from persecution in their home countries to support these policies.”

Read the whole thing.

More social disintegration please!

The letter is also signed by Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio), Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine), Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Missouri), Sen. Michael Rounds (R-South Dakota), Sen. John Thune (R-South Dakota), Sen. Cory Gardner (R-Colorado) and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Florida).

Note: In the Republican Senate, Alexander, Blunt, Collins, Lee, Murkowski, Moran, Paul, Portman, Romney, Toomey and Wicker recently revolted to vote against Trump’s national emergency to fund the border wall.

Jordan as Communications Director, Linda Good as Administrative Director, and Mona Taylor as State Director.

“These staff hires will help me advance conservative ideas in the Senate, on behalf of the Oklahomans who sent me here,” said Lankford. “We will assemble a staff that is committed to the values that make this nation great. Each of them have a unique skill-set that will greatly benefit Oklahomans, and I’m honored they’re part of our team.”

Greg Slavonic will continue serving as Chief-of-Staff of Lankford’s Senate office after being appointed to the same role in Lankford’s House office in September. Before joining Lankford’s office directly following his election to the House of Representatives, Taylor worked for the FAA Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City. She started her career in government by doing constituent service for Congressman Mickey Edwards (R-Okla.). In all, Taylor has served 27 years in the Oklahoma Congressional delegation, including with Congressmen Frank Lucas, J.C. Watts, and Tom Cole. 8. I still believe putting a $1,000 bounty on the head of each illegal will clear the country of these pests quickly. Money is a good motivator to bring all these crooks in. Plus we need to halt all immigration until white Europeans make up over 90% of the population — Make America White European Again This is our land that we conquered and settled.

We do need some highly motivated “illegal immigrant terriers”.

  9. “Refugee” is a code word for 3rd world alien invader. Our anti-White overlords have made it clear that they don’t care how 3rd worlders get here as long as they keep coming indefinitely.
