  1. We need warriors to die for the economy and Blompf’s reelection! Get on the front lines and take one for Donny Jewbucks and the corporate elites!

    • Imagine a government sends its soldiers off to war, and when they get shot, this government tells them too bad if you don’t have private health insurance.

Each day in ICU costs $7000. Corona virus patients can be in ICU for 4 weeks.

      28 X $7000 = $196,000

Will the Republicans pay for your hospital bills? No they won’t! That would be socialism!

      • Well, normal Americans dying while the rich are hiding out in their yachts and getting even richer off bailout money seems like how all American wars go, so there is some analogy there. Trump himself had the bone spurs after all.

  2. I question those worldodometer numbers.
They are too erratic. 1324 to 2350 in a single day. That’s too much fluctuation too fast.
    The source must be inconsistent.

  3. Trump’s model is apparently stating no deaths after May 16th. They aren’t doing much to produce testing kits either.

Obviously they know this is nonsense.

There may be sacrifices needed to repair their stock portfolios but that is apparently a price they are willing to pay.

    • “Trump’s model is apparently stating no deaths after May 16th” – Perhaps Trump believes short term temporizing lies work because so many people actually parrot them as if they weren’t transparent falsehoods. Viral jelly slime.

  4. Trump on why businesses should reopen: “I’m viewing our great citizens of this country to a certain extent and to a large extent as warriors. They’re warriors. We can’t keep our country closed. We have to open our country … Will some people be badly affected? Yes.”

I find this statement fascinating. The primary reason is that it’s a good summary for why I think this President is a reflection of our society as a whole.

This country is incredibly spoiled. The vast majority of us wouldn’t know true suffering or hardship if it bit them in the ass. Life for the most part is sheltered, bubble like. As such, boredom sets in and people crave meaning.

When we were largely a Christian nation, meaning wasn’t an issue. People understood the higher purpose of things and acted accordingly.

But today we don’t have that anymore. So we have to exaggerate our accomplishments and create straw men as “enemies” that need to be fought. It’s an innate need to matter.

That’s why SJWs exist. They can’t figure out their purpose in life, even though it’s in their face if they bother to look. So people come along and brainwash them into thinking they are oppressed and are being “attacked”, so they feel like mighty warriors.

The problem of course is that unlike real wars where you can actually see a real enemy that is really attacking you, you can’t truly have the satisfaction that you have defeated the enemy. The “system” is responsible for injustices, yet nothing tangible can be produced. This continues the wheel of samsara, to borrow a term from Buddhism, that can never seem to stop.

Our reality show leader uses this warrior language because he himself is a product of this society. He himself has never endured any real hardship and he always feels the need to signal how great he is and how great his “achievements” are. SJWs do the same thing, only not about money, but the principle is the same.

These people feel inadequate. A person that is comfortable with themselves wouldn’t need to signal anything to anyone. That’s because they know themselves and their purpose in life. It doesn’t matter what others may think of them.

The truth of the matter is that the people that hate Trump don’t hate him because he is different than them, no. They hate him because for them, it’s like looking into a mirror and they don’t like what they see.

    • You’re onto something that the shitlibs don’t actually hate Trump as a person. They hate that his rhetoric was effective in gaining support. Trump is an effective lightningrod insofar as he attracts hatred but rather than sending to electricity into the ground, his supporters are the ones who get the shocks.

  5. 239 days left this year. Will we get to a million or more? We should do a pool. Everybody throw in a hundred bucks pick a number and pay it out 1/01/2021.
