Liberals cast opposition to them, and their agenda, as “bigotry” so it becomes functionally impossible to oppose them. But they are the opponents of humanity. They are the enemies of human flourishing. They are the ones exploiting workers. They are the ones dominating workers. pic.twitter.com/nBjDOr5yID— a spectre haunting leftism (@aimeespectre) January 25, 2021
It didn’t take long.
Now that Neoliberal Joe is president, the upper middle class, White professional wing of the Democratic party are back in the saddle and pushing their toxic cultural agenda. They are starting off the week with another “trans” executive order which should thrill the Vox.com and BuzzFeed audience.
An executive order signed Monday requires both the Pentagon and the Homeland Security Department, which oversees the Coast Guard, removes gender identity as a bar to service.
“The All-Volunteer Force thrives when it is composed of diverse Americans who can meet the rigorous standards for military service, and an inclusive military strengthens our national security,” according to a release from the White House.
The move puts to bed a controversy that began in July 2017, when Trump tweeted that “after consultation with my generals and military experts” he would no longer allow transgender Americans to serve in the military. …”
What do they mean by diversity and inclusion? Does that include all Americans?
“WASHINGTON – President Joe Biden on Monday overturned former President Donald Trump’s policy that aimed to ban transgender troops from service.
Biden directed Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin to implement a policy that prohibits discrimination against troops based on their gender identity and requires the Pentagon to report within 60 days its progress in unraveling the ban.
“Allowing all qualified Americans to serve their country in uniform is better for the military and better for the country because an inclusive force is a more effective force,” according to a statement from the White House. “Simply put, it’s the right thing to do and is in our national interest.”
The directive to reverse the previous administration’s policy is one of Biden’s first moves to unravel Trump’s legacy in the military and elsewhere in government. …
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi derided the policy as “bigoted.”
The Pentagon estimated that there were about 9,000 transgender troops serving in 2016, and about 1,000 of them had a diagnosis of gender dysphoria. …”
Last week, one of Joe’s first actions as president was to move aggressively on the transgenderism in locker rooms and women’s sports issue, which as the polls show are one of the top priorities of the American public. Joe used executive power to desegregate women’s restrooms and to begin opening the border on Day One. He revealed that nothing could be done about COVID on Day Two.
In the words of Nancy Pelosi, it was a “bigoted” policy.
“Lawmakers are taking matters into their own hands to prevent white supremacists and other extremists from joining and remaining in the military.
Following the deadly Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol — and the subsequent revelation that nearly 1 in 5 people charged in connection with the riot have some form of military background — Congress plans to insert language into this year’s National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) to address extremism at the Pentagon and other federal agencies.
“The attack on our Capitol was an insurrection fueled in large part by groups that espouse the same extreme white supremacists’ views – groups that actively recruit veterans and from the ranks of our military,” Rep. Anthony Brown (D-Md.) said in a statement to The Hill.
“We must recommit ourselves to rooting these beliefs out of our ranks, protecting our servicemembers from radicalization and ensuring all Americans feel safe serving the country we all love,” he added. …”
The same wealthy coastal White liberals who believe that transsexuals should serve in the U.S. military are portraying all Trump voters or anyone who expresses pro-White sentiments as “white supremacists.” They want to “root out” those people from the military for their “extremist” beliefs.
Southerners are also not welcome to serve in the U.S. military.
“Acting Defense Secretary Chris Miller announced Friday that he has appointed four people to a commission created by Congress to examine how to rename military bases that honor Confederate leaders.
Miller selected Sean McLean of California, Joshua Whitehouse of New Hampshire, Anne G. Johnston of North Carolina and Earl Matthews of Pennsylvania to serve on the Commission on the Naming of Items of the Department of Defense that Commemorate the Confederate States of America or Any Person Who Served Voluntarily with the Confederate States of America, according to Pentagon news release issued Friday. …”
Donald Trump vetoed the 2021 NDAA bill because it contained a provision from Elizabeth Warren to rename military bases named after Confederate generals. The House and Senate overrode Trump’s veto earlier this month. The final vote was 81-13. Establishment Republicans were useless.
Personally, I have mixed feelings about the issue. I think it is terrible that White working class men and Southerners are disproportionately dying for a country that despises them. I’m not really opposed to letting “trans” people replace them as casualties of war at the VA hospitals. I don’t really care that American military bases are being renamed either. The U.S. military is only used to occupy and police the world and to uphold the liberal international order these days, not to protect the homeland. If “trans” people want to die for Citibank and Bank of America, why should we stand in their way?
Note: Tomorrow is supposed to be woke day or racial equity day. Friday is open borders day.
