The Unite The Right demonstrators had obtained a permit for a peaceful protest at Lee Park (that had to be backed by a court order) and the UTR people were the ones who were blocked and attacked by the radical Left — you know those “mostly peaceful” protesters that include Antifa, BLM and other Leftist radicals who vandalized/burned many liberal urban areas in America a year ago. These Leftists confronted and blocked the UTR people at the entrance of the park while the Charlottesville police stood down to allow violence to erupt so an unlawful assembly could be declared cancelling the event.
We are coming up on another anniversary of the Charlottesville riot and the same old liars on the Left are trotting out their same old lies hoping to get public opinion on their side for an upcoming trial against the Right later this year.
