The Realignment: Realignment or Not, Normies Get Votes

As a politics nerd, I read and watch this stuff.

Yes, it is true that it doesn’t really matter whether Red Team or Blue Team wins because at the end of the day the policy agenda is sold to the donors anyway, but I still enjoy watching and analyzing it like sports.

It is also hilarious that the Republicans are running on pure backlash politics now and how nothing that the Democrats can come up with including giving people free money resonates more with voters than “Let’s Go Brandon.” American politics is the like Byzantine Empire now.

Here’s the latest from Eric Levitz:

New York Magazine:

“This winter, Democratic strategists have many causes for discontent. Inflation is eroding Joe Biden’s approval rating and his party’s standing in 2022 midterm polls. The president’s stalled agenda is dispiriting progressive activists and keeping the media’s focus on Democratic disarray. In recent polls, Donald Trump is holding his own in a hypothetical 2024 rematch.

But it’s possible that no political development worries blue America’s operatives more than Hispanic voters’ rightward drift.

Biden’s approval rating has declined with just about every demographic. But no racial or ethnic group has soured on the president more than Hispanics, according to FiveThirtyEight’s aggregation of all available polls. …”

Is Ruy Teixeira surprised by the latest Remington Research poll?

If Hispanics have swung by 42 points toward the GOP since 2018 over COVID and the economy and are now breaking Republican (this is a larger sample size than the previous poll which created such a stir), wouldn’t this invert the politics of the Great Replacement into a replacement and marginalization of libtards?

It is easy to see how disaster strikes with the White vote for Democrats dropping to 30%, the rural margin for the GOP climbing into the 70s and 80s, “Latinx” voters splitting 50/50 and the youth vote getting blackpilled.

Note: Dems still have a lock on the repulsive, self-righteous woke libtard vote though. Maybe it is a moral victory?

  1. I agree it doesn’t matter which puppet career politician candidate or which of the two twin parties wins the (s)elections. The population of the U.S. “homeland” cannot vote their way out. Even foreign countries find it difficult or impossible to break free by voting in elections that the Empire controls or interferes with.

Maybe the reason why I can’t “enjoy watching and analyzing it (politics) like sports” is because I never developed the habit of watching sports. What does it accomplish?

  2. Key pre-secession event yesterday, as 3 Cincinnati federal Appeals judges restored Biden’s vax mandate, overturning decisions of several other Appeals judges in Louisiana and elsewhere, who had said the Biden-OSHA vax mandate was illegal

To understand why 3 fed Appeals judges in Ohio over-rule a fed Appeals judge in Louisiana:

Partly it’s that Appeals courts have levels inside them, so a 3-judge panel reviews 1-judge decisions

But beyond that, when there are similar legal cases in multiple judicial districts, as with Biden’s vax mandate, then judicial staff in Washington, conduct a ‘random lottery’ with numbered ping pong balls or something, behind closed doors (heh heh), deciding where the Appeals panel will be held deciding for all USA: ‘A federal judicial panel assigned the appeals court in Cincinnati to handle at least 34 lawsuits …’

In Ohio it was 2-1, Obama Judge Jane Stranch and Bush Judge Julia Gibbons for Biden and his mandate, against Trump Judge Joan Larsen

Now it’s the Supreme Court under Chief Justice ‘my name on Epstein’s flight log’ Roberts, to decide if they go with the Obama-Bush judges, or the Trump judge … good luck on that one

Notice the pattern here … a few temporary ‘victories’ for the people, thinking they can ‘trust the system’, but in the end the hammer comes down

    • @balticus – That is so true. People feel the initial outrage; and then, “Whew! Someone has done something about this outrage.” Then, they fall back asleep and the outrage creeps back in and becomes the new normal.

  3. “American politics is the like Byzantine Empire now.”

Don’t flatter yourself. America is as NON-Orthodox as any pagan nation in the early days of Christendom- with Monophysites, Nestorians, Gnostics, Sodomites, Lesbians, Wiccans, and a whole host of other cults and sects vying for position- and those are the protestant sects! I’m not even including the Bergoglian cult, or the Trad RC’s who STILL are outside of the Church Catholic. At least the Orthodox Empire of East Christendom knew their Christology!

    Not so, the West!

  4. The most striking aspect of the “hispanic” vote (Hispanic is a made-up “race” concocted by Jews in the era of Nixon puppet: A Spanish-speaker from Spain is not “Hispanic”, but a Guatemalan Indio who can’t speak a word of Spanish is “Hispanic”) is the split between male and female. It’s roughly parallel to the male-female divide in the white vote. This is all ghost-dancing of course as Uncle Yusif’s famous dictum applies at least as much in the USSA as it did in the USSR:

Those who cast the votes decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything.

I’ll leave it to everyone’s imagination as to who is doing the counting in Murika. To paraphrase the late George Carlin in his parting shot: You ain’t in the club, YT. The data might have some application after the break-up though.
