This is the correct approach.
Just laugh at them. Mock them. Don’t be afraid of them. Everyone agrees they are a joke. No one takes “journalists” seriously anymore. They don’t have the upper hand anymore.

Our Democracy is under threat from Your Republic. The problem is the increasing number of voters who are seeing Your Republic as the more attractive alternative to Our Democracy.
Really Our Democracy left itself open to attack by the inept, incompetent tone deaf PMC of scolding ninnies who refused to remember “It’s The Economy, Stupid.” And doubled down on Open Borders and Critical Race Theory.
They thought they had Your Republic on the ropes and moved in for the kill, forgetting that if they made things bad enough to crush Whitey’s spirit that things would also get so bad for everyone else that they would vote their pocketbooks over their race.
