Juneteenth is a complete lie and a sham. The idea is that freedom to the slaves was delayed because Texas didn’t get the news and was the last to end slavery on June 19th 1865. In actuality legal slavery continued in some of the States that fought for the Union until the ratification of the 13th Amendment some six months later on December 6th, 1865. Slavery ended in the South six months before it ended in the North.
