Goodbye Brian Stelter

I’m going to miss my favorite “journalist.”

Vox:

“Why was Brian Stelter, CNN’s star media reporter and host of its Reliable Sources show, pushed out of his job this week?

Inside and outside of CNN, there are two working theories. …

Asked about this theory by the New York Times, Malone gave one of the most candid admissions you’ll ever see a public person make in the guise of a denial: “Mr. Malone said he wants “the ‘news’ portion of CNN to be more centrist, but I am not in control or directly involved.”

Translation: Yes, this pleases me. …”

Stelter was making nearly a million dollars a year.

  1. “he wants “the ‘news’ portion of CNN to be more centrist”

    Translation:
“Our ratings are plunging and we’re going to try more covert methods to subvert the minds of americans.”

  2. I see a new type of villain for a Stephen King horror novel in near future: Smiling clown-face reporter with squeaky voice who is gruesome chainsaw butcher by night…. The joker at least had a sinister aspect out there in the open, a Selter-face would be laughed off much more easily. Therein lies the danger…..
