Time: President Biden on World Leadership, War and the 2024 Election

As this interview makes clear, Trump is still preferable to Biden in spite of his underwhelming first term. Trump didn’t preside over a genocide in Gaza or the war in Ukraine.

Time:

Biden leads the U.S. as the American century is fading into an uncertain future, a changing world of threats, opportunities, and power shifts. At 81, he holds fast to a vision that has reigned since World War II, in which a rich and powerful America leads an alliance of democracies to safeguard the globe from tyranny.

On June 6, Biden will travel to Normandy, France, to memorialize an event that has served for eight decades as a focal point of this vision. He will arrive as the 12th—and certainly the last—American President who was alive on that day in 1944, when 73,000 American troops led the largest amphibious invasion in human history, accelerating Nazi Germany’s defeat and Europe’s liberation. For generations, D-Day has been a hallowed anniversary. The President says commemorating it is as much about the future as the past. “We’re playing [that role] even more,” Biden says. “We are the world power.”

Whether this view of America’s role in the world will outlast Biden’s presidency is an open question. Voters face a clear choice this November. Biden calls America’s democratic values the “grounding wire of our global power” and its alliances “our greatest asset.” His presumptive opponent, former President Donald Trump, called for withdrawing American forces in Europe and Asia and has promised, most recently in his April 12 interview with TIME, to cut loose even our closest allies if they don’t do as he tells them. By his own account, Trump sees all countries as unreliable, the relations between them transactional. That sentiment has spread throughout a Republican Party that once championed America’s values abroad. J.D. Vance, the Ohio Senator in contention to become Trump’s Vice President, tells TIME that the D-Day story has become a sepia-toned distraction. “The foreign policy establishment is obsessed with World War II historical analogies,” says Vance, “and everything is some fairy tale they tell themselves from the 1930s and 1940s.” …

Biden says he remains committed to Ukrainian victory. Asked about the war’s endgame, Biden says, “Peace looks like making sure Russia never, never, never, never occupies Ukraine.” But last year’s Ukrainian counteroffensive was a failure. Russia recently has made its largest advances since the opening months of the invasion. Alliance building may have reached its limit, along with Americans’ appetite for funding a war of attrition. Biden’s allies in Kyiv complain he has been too cautious, giving Ukraine enough weapons to survive the war but not to win it. “It’s not a decisive stance,” says a senior official in President Volodymyr Zelensky’s government. “It’s not the way to victory.” …

I do not intend to make the same mistake again.

In 2020, I allowed my anger and disappointment with Trump to cloud my judgment. I didn’t vote for Biden. I sat out the election. In retrospect, I feel like I exaggerated Trump’s failures, especially on foreign policy, while downplaying how much damage Biden could do in the White House.

  1. Interesting. Item to ponder before reading anything published by Time magazine: It is a total Deep-State (GOG – thank you AGB) mouthpiece. Anything published therein is approved GOG newspeak. Massimo Calabresi is just another product of Operation Mockingbird, another cog in GOG’s gaslight media lie-machine.

What is the purpose of this article? Look at the picture – and the headline (If he wins). Does this give you a hopeful impression? Does it make you want to consider voting for Shiptants Joey? I expect what most here would think of it, but that’s not as important as what the morons who actually regard Time as genuine independent journalism will think of it.

Do the mid-wits who think they are educated and smart (and regard themselves in such a light because they swill GOG propaganda as willingly as the denizens of Jonestown guzzled the grape-drank) really believe that fighting WW III is the most important thing on the menu for 2024? The Murika of 2024 is nothing at all like the one of 1944. Not only does it lack anything approaching the manufacturing capacity of that once-upon-a-time nation, the human capital is massively degraded as well. Moreover, the oceans on both coasts of the country no longer afford the level of natural defense they did in 1940. Missiles launched from Russia and China (and possibly North Korea now) can easily fly down over the South Pole to strike any designated targets in the continental United States. Not only this, but WW III means reinstating the draft. I rather doubt 2024 Murika is up to this. Are there enough idiots out there willing to follow Gen. Joey Shitpants on his Austrian-Painter style crusade against Russia and China??

Is this article basically a GOG endorsement of Trump to promote the illusion that Cheetohead the Clown will somehow refuse to drag us into WW III (despite his own promises of recent date to do so)? Nice try GOG-meisters, but no sale.

  2. “Russia recently has made its largest advances since the opening months of the invasion. ”

Do you think Putin will use this pre-election period to make an ultimate thrust into Ukraine , capturing all the land he wants, so he can be in the strongest possible negotiating position, prior to a new administration ?

  3. My prediction is that Trump will pull a Reagan if he gets in, and the hostages will be released from Gaza Day 1, and he’ll force both sides to the negotiating table. Iran knows not to mess with him and he owes nothing to Netanyahu after the last election. Hopefully he can put some of these fires out around the world.

  4. “The lesser evil” Trump is a cypher, just like Biden and every other puppet-figurehead U.S. President. The Elites remain in charge of everything all the time, regardless of which twin party is in power and who is currently the puppet-figurehead “commander in chief.”

“Trump didn’t preside over a genocide in Gaza or the war in Ukraine”:

That is like saying President Hoover didn’t preside over the Second World War or Franklin Pierce didn’t preside over the WBTS. Trump didn’t preside over the Khazarkrainian and Gaza operations because he wasn’t President during those planned operations’ time schedules. The U.S. had not yet withdrawn from its far-flung and very vulnerable bases in Afghanistan, when Trump was President, something which apparently had to be done before beginning the hot wars on Russia and Palestine. Also, Trump prepared the way for the genocide of Gaza with his illegal and outrageously provocative gifts of East Jerusalem and other Palestinian territory to Israel and Syrian Golan territory to Israel, and by building a U.S. embassy to Israel on stolen Palestinian-owned land, and by Kushner’s Abraham Accords, etc. The only differences between Biden and Trump are personal style and apprarance – a waste of precious time to think about. Meanwhile what is vitally important is being ignored.

      • “he isn’t as bad as Biden”:

Well, he has been more vocal about attacking China than Biden has been, and much more so than Obama, who was quite coy about beginning the “Pivot to Asia.”

Instead of looking for a lesser evil, please begin looking for a greater good and it won’t be on the Right. I think I know how you feel, as I did once, but not for very long before reverting back to a Left upbringing.

  5. Trump continued to fund Zelensky’s proxy war against the Russian people of Donbass, which, as I’m sure you know, began in 2014, not 2022.
If Russia began its peacekeeping mission in the Donbass during Trump’s term, Trump would’ve responded just as Biden did.
Trump is pro-NATO, whose stated raison d’etre is to ‘balkanize Russia’, his only qualm with NATO is he wants other countries to ‘pay their fair share’.
Trump is even more of a Zionist than Biden if that’s possible, and what’s more unlike Biden he doesn’t have the progressive left to check him.
A Trump presidency will not be meaningfully different than a Biden presidency.
It’s a difference of style, not substance.
America is an oligarchy, not a liberal democracy, nor a constitutional republic, same as every state.

    • Not that the progressive left checks Biden on Israel much, if at all, but he has to at least pay them lip service and throw them a bone every now and then, whereas just about every republican of consequence is vehemently anti-Palestinian.

  6. In my humble opinion, Sleepy Joe and his wire pullers could more or less “finish the job” before November. Yeas? Nays?

  7. Does anyone read Time Magazine? I thought they went out of business. I remember seeing Time in dentists’ offices while nervously waiting to hear my name called, thumbing through one advertisement after another for Viagra, diabetes drugs, menopause treatments, pills for newly invented diseases, assorted creams, vitamins, supplements and other bullshit. Not much worth reading there, that’s for sure.

There is no way Time Magazine can still be in business as a legitimate magazine, they just lose money year after year. Yet here they are, year after year, spewing forth lies about how wonderful the regime is, acting as propaganda but more importantly, as a source of jobs/income for the liars in the MSM and funneling money into the pockets of the owners, The Usual Suspects.

This money ultimately comes from the U.S. Government, printed out of thin air, delivered to Wall Street first through Government bond sales, then various U.S. Govt. agencies that receive the “money” from the bond sales. These agencies then pay the exorbitant drug prices to the thieving “Big Pharma” cartels which have bribed Congress to arrange this system. A bone is thrown to Time and the rest of the Lügenpresse by drug company advertisements to print the Government approved “truth”, else the money stops. Then they’re on their own and Chapter 11 bankruptcy beckons, that’s just how it works.

When the dollar goes bad, the Lügenpresse is out of business along with Big Pharma, the evil universities and all the other grifts and rackets comprising the shell of an “economy” in the GloboHomo Shopping Mall Empire. That day is coming, no tree grows to the sky, not even the U.S. Dollar. The geniuses in charge of GloboHomo don’t believe that is even possible as they assiduously work to wreck the dollar, the oxygen GloboHomo breathes daily. Fuck ’em.

    • > There is no way Time Magazine can still be in business as a legitimate magazine, they just lose money year after year. Bingo. Ditto for all the rest of gaslight media, and not a few of the ‘alternative media’ (Shapiro, Peterson, et al). When you have the ability to generate endless funds ex nihilo expenses don’t really matter, do they? WW III will be won by the powers smart enough to drive a stake through the heart of the zombie-dollar.

  8. The Jews and allies have the pathological bloodlust for power that we don’t have. That gives them a massive edge.

    • Yeah, most Whites are the “live and let live” type. They want control over their own lives and do not seek to control others.

  9. “… accelerating Nazi Germany’s defeat …”

Oh—merely accelerating it, because, no doubt, the true engine of its defeat was the USSR. I’ll remember that the next time I think of my relative who was killed in Normandy.

(PS There never was a USSR. What was called the USSR was merely an outpost of American communism, which propped it up until it was no longer sustainable. America, not Moscow, was its capital.)

    • “USSR was merely an outpost of American communism, which propped it up until it was no longer sustainable”:

Please read accurate history, not just propaganda. In reality, the U.S. did all it could to destroy Russian socialism, from the very beginning. Read about the U.S. forces (and allied armies) that invaded Russia to support the counter-revolutionary White armies after WW2. After that, Germany was expected to destroy Russia. But when the German proxy operation (Barbarossa) failed, the U.S. considered launching yet another invasion of Russia with its own forces in 1945, even before the fall of Berlin. But it chickened out and began preparing to nuke Russia, until Russia developed its own nukes much sooner than expected and the Cold War began.

      • “… the U.S. did all it could to destroy Russian socialism, from the very beginning.”

No, it didn’t. The U.S. was split between pro-communist and anti-communists from the instant the Russian Revolution took place, Merthyr. The struggle against communism was always an internal struggle, a struggle, that is, within the U.S. Yes, there were anti-communist elements supporting the White armies, but there was also the American Relief Administration.

        See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Relief_Administration#American_relief_and_Russian_famine_of_1921

“But when the German proxy operation (Barbarossa) failed, the U.S. considered launching yet another invasion of Russia with its own forces in 1945, even before the fall of Berlin.”

Oh—the German proxy operation. I see—so the Roosevelt administration that was flooded with communists who were doing everything they could to make Stalin seem an affable leader wanted the Soviet Union toppled. It was a war within, Merthyr. The instant, if I’m recalling correctly, that Whittaker Chamber said he had microfilm that implicated Alger Hiss in espionage, Hiss went to—what was it? The State Department?—I’m not sure, but some executive department, to try to get the public display of the film stopped. He knew where his friends were.

“… until Russia developed its own nukes much sooner than expected and the Cold War began.”

Yes—I wonder how that happened. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Klaus_Fuchs

The USSR was a nothing, right from the start. Again, I’m trying to recall: In testimony before Congress, Edwin Walker, at whom Lee Harvey Oswald eventually took a potshot, said, before Congress, I think, that there was a force within the U.S. government that was making it impossible for the US to prevail against the USSR. Of course, there was. It was communists, who, as I say, had been propping up the Soviets from the start. When those communists weren’t actually within the U.S. government, they were trying to steer public opinion—right from the start:

        • Chambers was influenced by the lies of the anti-Stalinist Trotskyists, not a good source for accurate history. I know everything you write about Russian socialism being “nothing at all” (but a creation of the U.S.) makes perfect sense to you, as long as you keep looking at reality through the anti-socialist “history” propaganda, the anti-socialist distorting “lenses” that the system put on you. You must fear and hate socialism if you believe it is violent by nature and takes away freedom. I think it tends to peace and that it maximizes freedom, for the vast majority.

I hope there are other things that do we agree on.

I know the U.S. has appeared to play both sides (as it makes war by deception), being apparently both for and against Russia from the revolution to the final “collapse” (betrayal) of the USSR. But the LOGIC of the capitalist class-and-usury system dictates unrelenting deadly conflict: socialism (and even the knowledge of it) must be destroyed completely, or capitalism will eventually perish. I believe the truth will prevail.

        • Re: ‘Just yesterday, Merthyr, I read a D-Day article at the Greanville Post, a leftist or Marxist paper, I gather. The writer, one Jeff J. Brown, remarked that the Soviet army was “grinding Nazis into dog food, on its relentless drive towards Berlin. I couldn’t help but be struck by how casually such vicious language flowed”:

John, I agree with you in this case, with your impression. I don’t agree with everything Greanville posts and Jeff Brown says.

        • The U.S. Government was riddled through with Communists and Communist sympathizers.

The U.S. Army was able to read “unbreakable” Soviet codes after 1946 because Soviet cipher clerks began reusing so-called “one-time pads” (which were otherwise unbreakable) once WWII started in Sept. 1939. A defecting Soviet cipher clerk in Ottawa, Canada revealed this to RCMP officers who then notified a U.S. Army signals officer who had been keeping copies of otherwise unreadable Soviet message traffic since 1939.

Encoded messages were sent via Western Union or short wave transmission to the USSR as a series of indecipherable letters, numbers and symbols. At the receiving end a clerk would use his copy of the same one-time pad to decode the message then both clerks destroyed that page of the code book.

Reusing one-time pads allowed code breakers to find patterns in the messages allowing the original messages to be reconstructed going back to 1939. This would have been impossible had the Soviet cipher clerks followed the correct procedure but they were swamped with messages after WWII started and falling behind in one’s work was not an option.

          https://www.nsa.gov/Helpful-Links/NSA-FOIA/Declassification-Transparency-Initiatives/Historical-Releases/Venona/

The project to read Soviet secret messages from Washington and NYC was called “Project Venona” and only reveled after the fall of the USSR. Soviet archives released corroborated much of the information from Venona such as Whittaker Chambers testimony and that the Rosenbergs were spies.

Venona also revealed that Julius Rosenberg stole the plans and a copy of the proximity fuse from the Emerson Radio Corp.’s production line in Paramus, NJ and delivered them to the USSR consulate in NYC. The proximity fuse was second in importance to the war effort after the Manhattan Project. Soviet proximity fuses, copies of U.S. Army/Navy ones were used in Korea against allied aircraft.

One of several excellent books on the Venona Project:

          • Thanks for the link, 12AX7. In “Witness,” the Whittaker Chambers memoir published in 1952, is a striking passage I’ve just now been able to find via Google …

“From 1930 onward, a small intellectual army passed over to the Communist Party with scarcely any effort on its part. Within a decade, simply by pursuing the careers that ordinarily lay open to them, these newcomers would carry the weak and stumbling American Communist Party directly into the highest councils of the nation, would subtly (or sometimes boldly) help to shape the country’s domestic and foreign policies. They would, at last, in a situation unparalleled in history, enable the Soviet Government to use the American State and Treasury Departments as a terrible engine of its revolutionary purposes ….”

In my own view, as I said above, the situation was arguably the opposite, i.e., that Americans were steering the whole thing all along; but putting that thought aside, we may say that the situation truly was stunning, “unparalleled in history,” as Chambers says there. Part of the oddness of it, part of what made it unparalleled, is that the left was constantly jumping down the throat of anyone who dared to speak of it. It was an incredible bit of gaslighting, in which those who spoke of communist subversion were denounced and ridiculed as sufferers of a delusion. The gaslighting goes on—or has Joe McCarthy become a national hero?

If you’d like to read that passage above in context, just do a search at what looks to be a full-book pdf at … https://msa.maryland.gov/megafile/msa/speccol/sc5300/sc5339/000030/000000/000011/restricted/chambers_witness.pdf

One more passage, a statement that Chambers attributes to a European he calls Smetana:

“The Communist conspiracy … is unlike any ever known before. In the past,
conspiracy has always meant secrecy, concealment. The peculiarity of Communism is that everybody really knows who these people are and what the conspiracy is and how it works. But everybody connives at it because nobody wants to believe his own eyes. It is something new under the sun. It is conspiracy in the open.”

  10. Joe Slovo Brandon is performing his role of delivering the steaming fourth world turd Kwanstain to the globalists.
Look up his why I love the NWO WSJ editorial from 1992.
Get over vintage mom and apple pie civnat horseshit as it is long gone.

  11. “When the dollar goes bad,…..”

I just wonder if it won’t be a continuous erosion, like the Italian lira? One year a cup of coffee is 5 lira, then several years down the road it’s 20,000 lira. Just a continuous long slide, not an abrupt collapse ?

  12. ” thumbing through one advertisement after another”

That’s basically all modern magazines are, an ad catalog with a few articles interpersed.

  13. Jews filled with sociopathic hatred for Russia and Russians inside the US State Department are bringing Europe (primarily), USA, Canada, and potentially Australia to the brink of nuclear war.

A lot of warning lights are flashing yellowish-red right now, and the (((neocons))) that control foreign policy in Congress and the White House are pushing ahead towards nuclear Armageddon.

If we somehow avoid a tactical and/or strategic nuclear war with Russia, the talmudic end times uniparty have already indicated that they intend to start their next proxy war with China over the next couple of years, and China, like Russia is not bluffing about taking back a renegade Taiwan from the judeo-globalist gay disco and shopping mall by whatever means necessary.

I suspect both Russia and China have hundreds, if not thousands of ‘sleeper’ agents and teams inside the jew SA just waiting for their signal to strike key infrastructure, MIC manufacturing facilities, and a bevy of other strategic targets.

    • There already have been a series of attacks upon electrical facilities causing blackouts, all unsolved crimes but the U.S. Government is, of course, blaming the attacks on something called “White supremacists”.

      https://www.nytimes.com/2023/02/04/us/electrical-substation-attacks-nc-wa.html

Another one from 2013 in California, still unsolved:

      https://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/pge-makes-security-upgrades-at-metcalf-substation/120142/

The terrorists are already here, probably making practice runs and doing recon, waiting until The Big Event to strike. No special orders are necessary to initiate the attacks, just watching the news. When the U.S. Government is ordered to attack Iran by Our Greatest Ally or attacks Chinese forces in Taiwan, that will be the signal to cut loose.

I wonder what Chicago, St. Louis, NYC, DC or LA will be like if there is no electricity for ten days, in the summertime. I imagine the diversity will pull together, get down to work fixing the problem and share generously what they have. The crazy White liberals will rush into the ‘hood to help out their colored friends, of course.

If the crazy White liberals cannot make it into the ‘hood I am sure they will invite Deshawn, Shaniqua, Dante, Manuel and all their colored friends (those not locked up) to their spacious manses in the suburbs to stay with their White families. They can all go to the Unitarian church together and have a big fag day parade until the lights come back on. Too bad it will be the deplorables who get the electricity back, another lost opportunity for the diversity to show how talented they are.

      • “blaming the attacks on something called “White supremacists”.”

        Ok, that means it’s ANTIFA.

  14. “He will arrive as the 12th—and certainly the last—American President who was alive on that day in 1944, when 73,000 American troops led the largest amphibious invasion in human history, accelerating Nazi Germany’s defeat and Europe’s liberation (enslavement).”

Hate having to keep correcting you.

    • HW didn’t write that. It was the Mockingbird jouno who penned the article for the CIA publication called Time magazine, which is merely one pipe in the ‘Mighty Wurlitzer’ which is a well-known term for the gaslight media.

  15. ” . . . I suspect both Russia and China have hundreds, if not thousands of ‘sleeper’ agents and teams inside the jew SA just waiting for their signal to strike key infrastructure, MIC manufacturing facilities, and a bevy of other strategic targets.”

Probably also Hezbollah/Iran sympathizers too waiting for the U.S. attack against Iran.
