Zuck has announced the X-ification of Facebook and Instagram. The content moderation team is being moved to Texas to eliminate cultural bias. He explicitly says the new content moderation policy is a middle finger to “journalists” and legacy media who lost the 2024 election. They have declined in cultural influence and moving forward he will be paying less attention to them.

I was joking with Kyle yesterday about that virtual reality platform that Facebook created which was a total flop. Neither of us could remember the name of it.
Zuck the Cuck was an integral part of the post 2016 censorship boom and it’s absolutely clear how much he cares about Constitutional protections on free speech; nada. He has seen the way the wind is blowing and simply wants to head off an exodus of users to X and other censorship-lite platforms. The guy caved to pressure to censor right-wing views virtually without protest and he’d do so again in a heartbeat. I personally wouldn’t touch his platforms with a 10′ pole. I feel for the good people of Texas if Zuck is really moving his Orwellian content moderator team there. Wake me up when acronyms like “BDS” and “ZOG” are not trigger terms on Facebook. In the meantime this is a golden opportunity for principled conservatives with zero tolerance of political censorship to build & grow their own platforms.

I deleted my account and signed up a new one to get rid of some of the controversy, mainly because like you I decided that it’s not a great idea to have that much out there under my real name. But there is an account of your name that keeps getting suggested as one of my friends, but it looks like the account doesn’t accept friend requests and is just using marketplace.
My sister lives in this million dollar house in DC and is an echo chamber of the other privileged women in her social circle…i.e. she actually said last summer that the most important issue in this election is “climate change.” Your life has to be pretty cushy that your only worry is about the wrath of the weather gods. But she also said “Like, oh my god, this immigration is like way too much, the country is becoming much too bottom heavy…” And she said “bottom” with quite the deep tonal inflection indicating she definitely didn’t think they were up to her intellectual par. So evidently even a lot of the elites are becoming worried about all these welfare leaching Central Americans, Haitians, etc showing up and sucking up every last dollar they’d rather spend on windmills.
