Axios: Ukraine Agrees To 30 Day Ceasefire With Russia

Pray for peace.

Axios:

“Ukraine “expressed readiness to accept” a U.S. proposal for an immediate 30-day ceasefire with Russia, the two countries said in a joint statement after a key meeting between U.S. and Ukrainian officials in Saudi Arabia.

Why it matters: A ceasefire, if implemented, would be a major diplomatic breakthrough in the 3-year war between Russia and Ukraine. But the Kremlin has not weighed in on the U.S. proposal.

Driving the news: During the meeting — which lasted more than five hours — the U.S. agreed to lift its suspension on intelligence sharing with Ukraine and resume weapons shipments to the country, which were paused 10 days ago. …”

  1. the jews are a declining elite
trump redpilled the jews and now they’re on our side. we need to support the jews because they want to enact our political will. our interests are 100% aligned. the republican party is the only viable institution where jews have popular support to rule the country. the republican party has been remade in a white nationalist image under Trump. thus jews will facilitate white nationalism.

      • The Muslims gave a much larger net vote to Trump than the Jews did.

        Muslims:
        53% Jill Stein
        21% Donald Trump
        20% Kamala Harris
        Net Vote: +1% for Trump

        Jews:
        80% Kamala Harris
        20% Donald Trump
        Net Vote: +60% for Harris

      • As soon as the crisis in Gaza goes away the Jews in the US will actively side with the scum of the domestic population again.

  2. Of course Ukraine is going to “agree” to a ceasefire when they’re getting absolutely curbstomped. It’s not a serious proposal, it’s a subterfuge designed to allow Ukraine to regroup and rearm. And of course the Russians will not agree to this, because they’ve seen this all before, and the US knows this.

This is simply an excuse to turn the tap back on for Ukraine. Which is absolute idiocy. To me, it looks like Trump is folding to some combination of the Ukies, Euros, MIC, and neocons in both parties. The war will drag on, he will own it, and he will own the inevitable loss. This is the first thing that has me seriously considering getting off the Trump train. It’s the exact same wishy-washiness and bad judgement he showed in his first term.

  3. I support Russia demand for Crimea, but I oppose their plan to “de-Nazify” Ukraine.

It is reasonable for the Russians to annex land inhabited by an ethnic Russian majority, land which Catherine the Great liberated from the Ottoman Empire.

It is not reasonable for Russia to send political police to molest the proud anticommunists of Galicia.

  4. I prefer the articles without X embeds. I hate that every article on every site is filled with embeds. Call me old fashioned.

  5. I hope Trump is willing to offer some sizeable concessions to Putin to get this ceasefire. Given the collapse of the Kursk Salient, and rout of those troops, the momentum is on Russia’s side, they have no incentive to stop.

It wasn’t a great idea to begin giving military aid to Ukraine as a reward for this temporary ceasefire, it makes it even less likely Russia agrees, because why does Ukraine need more aid if this is supposed to be leading to a permanent end to the conflict?

This is a turd sandwich, and neither Trump nor Putin should be happy with it.

  6. Ukraine fired a swarm of drones into a residential Moscow neighborhood right before they met with Rubio and Waltz in Saudi Arabia.

Overrated and boring jewish podcaster Lex Friedman who is in Moscow to interview Putin said that drones were striking near the hotel he was staying at.

Not exactly the best way to get the Russians to agree to a ceasefire.

The Russian Duma has told Putin that the MoD needs to hit Ukraine with another Ureshnik ballistic missile in retaliation.

Big doubt to hate a ceasefire if any length is achievable now.

  7. Last week Marco Rubio finally admitted what has been obvious for 3 years: “..frankly it’s a proxy war between nuclear powers, the United States helping Ukraine, and Russia..”. Trump could end the war tomorrow if saving lives was the real aim. It is laughable that he play acts as intermediary, in a conflict in which the US is a belligerent.

Of course Trump doesn’t give 2 sh*ts about thousands of Slavs being killed and maimed daily. The ‘peace’ negotiations are just another shakedown – of Ukraine, Russia and Europe. Trump’s value system is calibrated in $$$’s and nothing else. He is at least consistent.
