The polling on Operation Midnight Boomer is a disaster on at least five levels:
1. 94% of MAGA Republicans support the Iran strikes for Israel which shows that the MAGA base supports Israel and is not trending in an antiwar, non-interventionist, isolationist direction.
2. The majority of Americans and the rest of the country do not support the strikes. Reuters has 36% approve. CNN has 44% approve. CBS News has 44% approve. CBS News has support for the strikes at 85% among Republicans, but only at 13% among Democrats and 36% of Independents. Thus, if you support non-intervention in the Middle East, you should gravitate toward Democrats.
3. In spite of the disastrous polling, which resonated only with the Republican base that watches FOX News, Trump thinks the strikes are a hit and is posting “Bomb, Bomb, Bomb Iran videos” on Truth Social which echoes one of the worst moments of the 2008 campaign.
4. The lesson that Israel has taken away from this is that escalation works – in Gaza, in Syria, in Lebanon and now in Iran – and that Trump can be maneuvered into taking military action for Israel. Please keep in mind that Israel has violated countless “ceasefires” including the two negotiated by Trump. Israel has every incentive to resume the war and drag us into it and will be agitating now to do it.
5. The MIGA base is being conditioned to support wars in the Middle East for Israel and to shout down and dismiss anyone who objects to American involvement as a “Panican.”
6. Meanwhile, Trump is giving shout outs to Jeb Bush on Truth Social, and is trying to purge Thomas Massie from his seat in Congress on behalf of Israel and AIPAC.
Note: It is also not even clear that the air strikes destroyed Iran’s nuclear facilities and even worse Iran has announced that it will resume working on its nuclear program.
There are two possible takeaways here:
a- the polls are fake (no idea but wouldnt surprise me, especially when it comes to supporting israel)
b- republicans are certifiable idiots. we’re talking african IQ tier.

One of the reasons Israel had to pause its war against Iran is because it recently suffered the worst home front damage ever. This is because Israel is running out of ballistic missile interceptors and even the Trump Administration cannot send more. The U.S. Government must keep a bare minimum in a war reserve.
The Standard Missiles the U.S. Navy (and other navies) use, THAAD systems, Patriots, Stingers, air-to-air, air-to-ground missiles etc. all use similar components and production facilities. Increasing production of Navy Standard Missiles takes away from THAAD missile production which also means fewer Patriots and the Israeli reverse engineered copies of these systems. The complex, phased array radars that make these systems work also have long lead times. Ukraine is also demanding more Patriot systems which simply aren’t available.

What is mostly coming out in that poll is the fact that most Republicans will instinctively defend whatever Trump does, and all Democrats will instinctively attack whatever Trump does.

2. Every single poll that is not a Republican push poll shows it was a political disaster. Democrats hated it. Independents hated it. Swing voters hated it.
3. If it was a huge success, why have people like Joe Rogan and Theo Von dropped Trump? Why is Theo Von bringing Thomas Massie on his show who Trump is trying to purge for his AIPAC handlers?
4. Israel will inevitably break the peacefire, escalate again and drag Trump right back into the fire. New Polls from Trafalgar, Axios, Interactive, Rasmussen, and Maris have come out that are reflective of period from June 24-June 27 2025, regarding the Iran strikes and Trump approval and MAGA. Needless to say, they pretty much are the opposite of what you estimated was going to happen.
First, the number of Republicans who consider themselves MAGA has jumped from slightly more than half in March to now 65-71% with some polls showing 85%. Nothing works like being a winner. Of course, even though they are Johnny come latelies and fair weather allies, I will use these people though like the groupies they are and welcome them.
The percentage of these MAGA Republicans who support Trump’s attack on Iranian strategic assets and nuclear program went from 65% to now over 95%. This means the remainder of MAGA Republicans are opposed or unsure or confused the question. Most of the polls show 4-6% error rate. Which means there is some single digit or fraction of a digit of actual self described MAGA Republicans who oppose the strikes. Hunter is in extremely small company.
In other words despite what Tucker, Bannon, and Kirk said, almost every single self described MAGA person supported the attacks. The talking heads’ take on the Iran attacks was one of the biggest self owns in talking head history. I plan to mercilessly beat the ever living shiite out of them over it when I can. Meanwhile, watch how this issue will be ignored in the coming weeks by Tucker, Bannon, Kirk, etc IF the cease fire holds. If it doesn’t, there is a greater than even chance they will switch into supporting a military response on Iran.
The support by non-MAGA Republicans for the attacks also continued in overwhelming numbers. Instead of 95%, it was only 85% though lol. Again the remainder consisted of unsure, opposed, and error. Again some single digit numbers of Republicans actually oppose the strikes. This means that the strikes on Iranian nuclear and strategic assets were supported by overwhelming numbers even when predicated with such questions as “even if Iran strikes backs at the US.”
This increase in support for the strikes was mirrored in the non-Republican category. Independents went from 35-40% support to 45-50% plus support. Even Democrats increased support for the attacks and now stand between 33-40% supporting the strikes. The combined result was that non-Republican support for striking Iran is within distance of a majority opinion within those groups. Together with the Republicans this also means the majority of Americans support the strikes on Iran. So, only Democrats and Independents are on the side of most commentators here arlt OD.
These positive increases translated into Trumps approval numbers. All of the aforementioned polls but one put Trump in positive territory and that one had him at even split after an increase from 42% approval. Right now, real polls, not fake polls put Trump after 6 months in office, in positive territory, in fact so positive they haven’t been matched since Barack Obama’s first term.
Trafalgar has consistently the best batting average on polls. They put his approval rating at 54-56%. I looked at their polling sample and it had larger numbers of sampling of Blacks and Hispanics than are in the actual population. This most likely means Trumps approval numbers are even higher than 54-56% that Trafalgar mentions. I’d bet that if Hunter walked down Eufaula Alabama and randomly selected White people and sampled them, they would almost unanimously support the strikes. Even Blacks might majority support the strikes. They’d also overwhelmingly support Trump. It must be lonely for Hunter in Eufaula right now being the only White guy shatting in Trump amd angered that Iran got a black eye.
In contrast to Eufaula, here at OD, Hunter can entertain is inner contrarian bent. I suppose probably about 1/4th to slightly around 1/3rd of the commentators here are actual Republicans or lean Republican rather than Democrat and/or Communist/Nazi. Those whom are Republican are also overwhelmingly Papist and non-Southern. But, I’d say about 1/3rd to half of these actual Republicans here at OD actually support the strikes. This means about 15% of the commentators here are Republicans who didn’t support the strikes.
The percentage of Republicans commenting at OD, who don’t support the strikes, oddly mirrors the polling support/dont support numbers of Non-MAGA Republicans. This in turn means perhaps some single digit percentage of commentators here at OD are actual MAGA Republicans. The rest of the commentators at OD are readers of the Daily Worker, Daily Stormer, Vatican Today, Jesuit Worldwide, Nazi Bunker Times, with most also being subscribed to FedBiz News.
These other fake polls got me thinking. Most good polls like Trafalgar sampled likely voters or registered voters. I noticed most of the other fake polls just sample “people.” With over a 100,000,000 foreign born and foreign origin people in the US, such a sample would include loads of non citizens and non voters. Essentially the big polling outfits are just randomly selecting people, many of whom aren’t American and or can’t vote just so they can get their stupid numbers. These numbers are of course breathlessly talked about by the Autistic Retarded Rightwingers (Read Nazis, Commies, A.S.Spergers, etc) here at OD.
