Of course, a piece of this huge grift is ripped off and deposited in the bank accounts of the notorious scumbags in Congress to buy their complicity in the whole, rotten scheme.

      This is the wonderful political system we enjoy for now, like it or not, until the wheels come off this bitch, known as “Our Democracy”. DJT, unbeknownst to the Stable Genius himself is helping end this wonderful “Our Democracy” through his latest war which is having severe financial repercussions.         • I lived through this before as an adult during the Oil Embargo when gas was even actively rationed. Lest we forget, after George Dubya Bush declined cheap oil from Russia, our good friends, the Saudis spiked the oil prices so that gas in oil-producing states like TEXAS, of all places were heading towards $5.00 almost twenty years ago.

          Some tips:

          Stop using your vehicles as storage. Clean out your car and, especially your trunk.

          Make sure all your filters are clean.

          Keep your tires in good working and inflated.

          Fill up your tanks early in the morning to prevent evaporation from giving you less bang for your bucks. And I mean FILL IT UP. You get better gas mileage on a full tank AND if you wait, you may find that the price has jumped another 20 or so cents a gallon.

          Map out your errands carefully so you don’t have to go out of your way for anything. IOW, you can put off getting food on the way from work rather than going out during your days off which should be considered STAYCATIONS.

          The best way from stressing yourselves into heart attacks/strokes, cortisol bellies, etc. is to focus on intentional behavior at all times. Allowing yourselves to be stressed is the best way to make bad decisions like stress drinking/eating or shopping. Stress keeps you from making smart plans.

        Yes. We lobbied very hard for Kris Konach for DHS in Trump’s first term. Something in his background didn’t pass muster, but I think it had more to do with Kris just being Kris v Establishment than anything nefarious. At any rate Kris never got in and still isnt in, neither are most people from Trump’s first admin or who were being considered in the first term.

        I recall VDare did some digging on the issue, including reviewing Homan. They found some political opposition with Kris and weren’t impressed with Homan as I recall. They agreed Homan wouldn’t be a problem if someone like Kris was in DHS. So, he wasn’t and still isnt. Instead we got Noem, who I think did a good job marketing and meme wise but obviously couldn’t overcome resistance if she wanted to from executing actual remigration.

        As to DeSantis, he was needed in Florida. Putting an executive of such a state into a cabinet level position wasn’t worth it in my opinion. Also, Trump would’ve viewed him warrily and as a potential inside threat and so De Santis’ advocacy for strong action would’ve got no where.

        Which leads us to conclude that perhaps the resistance to doing stronger action domestically with remigration is coming from the President himself. In that situation the best we could hope for is a more large scale and heavier enforcement action going after the criminals first, rounding up accessories and adjedent illegals, mandatory Everify, heavy punishment of business owners, followed by workplace raids, and of course securing the border. In that scenario the best we could hope for is reduction of illegals to Trump’s first term and a small reduction of legal immigrant population.

        We are kinda sorta going in that direction but I don’t have the warm fuzzies. Worse we now have Okie dokie Senator as head of DHS. Perhaps he will follow Stephen Miller’s oversight and give the President the confidence he isn’t being politically one upped. Either way, the lack of stronger remigration is a critical setback. Without remigration on a vaste scale the nation is doomed to conquest and 2nd even third class status, ending as a persecuted minority in the country they made.

        Meanwhile, as we fall into Latino Banana Republic status, the countries resources maybe successful in maintaining or restructurong a security architecture overseas thereby bringing a new age of foreign policy.

        I’m that scenario, it will bring some additional wealth and power to the country, for a time. But common Americans will have to take seconds or thirds from the oligarchs and their auxillery ethnicities inside the country who will get most of the new wealth and power.         Tied up in legislative legerdemain and federal contractong processes. But, it was successfully funded in the big beautiful bill. I of course suggested a supplementary route, namely the DoW, redirecting funds to building fortified barriers, concertina wire, and forts along with 150,000 Army and National Guard soldiers. The later could under direction of the Corps of Engineers build the fortified areas and barriers in preparation for the federal authorized wall.   29. People were predicting it was all a bluff a couple weeks ago due to the paltry naval assets in the region. Two carriers with a few destroyers escorting them. It’s clear that there were not enough naval assets involved to keep the straits of Hormuz open or pound the IRGC assets on the east side of the Persian Gulf. It appears the Israeli and USAF control Western Iran’s skies, but the southern area was not adequately allocated enough resources and the closure of the straits is the biggest issue affecting the economy.
