If I was living in Ohio, I would probably just stay home in November.

If I was forced to choose between Amy Acton and Vivek Ramaswamy, I would vote for Acton. I would vote for anyone else over the likes of Lindsey Graham, Ted Cruz and Tom Cotton.

  1. You forgot to mention the MAGA Republicans who slaughtered all of the Indiana GOP Senators who voted against redistricting. Fuentes being an SPLC Democrat is hardly news. Neither would Keith Woods being exposed as a Sein Fein IRA member. Both are Papists, but I am not sure if the slaughtered Indian Republicans were or not.

      This doesn’t prove anything about the viability of MAGA. What made MAGA a political force at the national level was 1.) the fact that rightwing Independents who bailed on Bush, McCain and Romney supported Trump and 2.) the relative size of MAGA in the Republican coalition. The fact that the GOP is struggling in Ohio and Iowa is the writing on the wall that MAGA is dead.

        The estimable Dave Yost Ohio AG dropped out of the race when it became clear that the Republican Party and Trump were backing Ramaswamy.

        This left the intrepid Casey Putsch in the race against Ramaswamy. Putsch is an Ohio State grad, automotive engineer, successful businessman and automotive educator. Putsch raised & spent around $120,000 which isn’t much compared to Ramaswamy’s millions. Putsch is a White man.

        I just heard that Dave Yost is resigning as AG to take a job in industry. Yost is also a White man.

          • It could merely stand of proof that elections in OH are rigged – just as in numerous other locales in Murika. There has been massive exposure of Dominion – a racket that controls a large number of voting machines run out of ‘Latin America’s Silicon Valley’ of Venezuela – over the last several months. Basically a large swath of states and counties have rigged elections.

        Why are they struggling? I don’t see any evidence but if you have some share it. I will say the GOP goes back and forth from supremacy to bare majority and sometimes bare minority in Iowa. That happens usually in relation to populism, corruption, reform, etc movements. Ohio seems relatively strong but I could see the GOP losing a bit here and there on certain offices or regions of the statr because of changes in the elected leadership and or political bosses. Ohio is an interesting state which still shows some vitality in the methods of old political organizing and consequently is complex to analyze. What say you on the GOP there and why they are in danger?

If you have a monopoly on creating money out of thin air (ex nihilo) there are few people you cannot buy at the end of the day. How many media outlets are there in Ohio?           Please note John McCain lost at 46%. Mitt Romney lost at 47%. Trump is at 33%. It takes a special kind of political genius to get all the way down to 33% in the same territory as Jimmy Carter.

  18. Only a fringe candidate with no money, no organization, and no party support ran against the Indian Scammer in Ohio. This is not to dump on the guy. He did well for an unknown fringe person with no money.

    There are Republicans in Ohio who could have beaten the Indian Scammer in the primary in an honest and fair contest. But none of them stood up, because honest Republican primaries do not exist in Ohio. It is all fixed beforehand.
