    Fearing increased inflation I have cut off about $100 monthly subscriptions to streaming services and other entertainment (comic book apps). Also canceled routine maintenance for my car, canceled a doctor’s appointment and a dentist appointment.

    I am saving thousands of dollars doing this but it does hurt the economy. Places are blowing up my phone trying to get me to spend money. Nope. ‘Can’t do it. Wouldn’t be prudent’

    • I’m basically living off of grocery store sales at this point. Most meat is unaffordable otherwise and it’s just going to get worse. It sucks, but there’s some pleasure to be had in finding creative ways to make an edible meal out of a limited yet wild assortment of items.
