He posted a meme of himself on Mount Rushmore and another meme celebrating his purge of Thomas Massie and Marjorie Taylor Greene from Congress for releasing the Epstein files. He floated canceling the concert so that he could hold a MAGA rally in DC and make America’s 250th anniversary purely about himself. Finally, he ended the day by telling everyone on Truth Social to watch Mark Levin who praised him for launching the Iran War.

I never thought I would see the day that Handy Andy Torba would censor posts concerning the financing of GAB. Even mild criticism of his money raising tactics, and suggestions to improve his fund raising are subject to censorship.
Like Elon Musk who is very sensitive to any criticism of the Chinese because of his business ties with China, Torba has become hyper sensitive to any criticism of his financing of GAB.

I’d be interested in more about Torba. I’ve always perused Gab but never signed up. I’ve always wondered where/how was it financed. I’m not on any social media but it’s the one I look at.
Well, a few years back Torba was claiming, that so much cash was flowing in that he didn’t have enough places to put it. Or words to that effect.
Looking over the available financials, Torba has taken in one or two venture capital firms as stake holders. They may be putting pressure on him to bring in more revenue by increasing the cost of, and number of subscriptions & donations.
Torba also raised money some years ago by selling “stock” in GAB, which I told him was a bad move. So he maybe trying to get out from under those investors too.
Raising the price of subscriptions and continuing to beg for donations is a counterproductive move, and will result in fewer subscribers and donors.

Thanks. That is interesting. I’ve always wondered if Torba and Gab were legit or just another controlled opposition platform. Haven’t been able to find anything that proves it’s a controlled op but I’m always suspicious of everything. It seems to be the only place where things aren’t censored up until the revelation about the financial posts being censored.
