I’m about to sit down to start reading Scott Greer’s book White Pill about how the GOP has radically changed over the past decade. I have my doubts.

    Politics for me now is another world.
    It has absolutely nothing to do with who I am.
    Those guys are living in a different universe than me, a universe of great wealth, money and power.
    Their interests have basically nothing to do with my interests.
    Their values have nothing to do with my values.

    I no longer identify as a Canadian.
    I am just an individual who happens to live in a large human zoo/plantation in geographical coordinates they call Canada.

    For me now politics is like the weather.
    I can’t change the weather, but I can plan for bad weather.
    The weather does what it wants, you can sacrifice, pray, vote or protest all you like, the weather and power are gonna do what they’re gonna do anyway.

    For me, the system is just a feature of my environment, like the sun or the dirt.
    Actually it’s worse than that, it’s more like an alien parasite growing off our planet.
    I don’t identify with the system, it’s just stuff I have to navigate around.

    Every generation many people gather to complain.
    Rightwingers come out and complain about immigrants, crime and taxes (but curiously not tariffs, which are just export/import taxes), leftwingers complain about race, gender, the environment and the quality of government services.
    And on foreign policy, everyone complains.
    Foreign policy usually unites the dissident right and the dissident left.
    Poor and middle class people don’t like war, only rich people like war.

    And what does all that complaining do, what has it gotten us since the 1960s? generation after generation.
    Nothing, not a single bloody thing, in fact we’ve lost some ground.
    So that’s it for me.
    I’m not going to spend the second half of my life smashing my head against a brick wall, I’m going to navigate around the wall.

    People with big money and the power to change things top-down don’t listen to people with little or no money.
    They laugh and spit at us.
    When these guys go for beer/coffee (or to one of their Epstein parties), they invite other rich people like themselves.
    They wouldn’t be caught dead hangin’ out with Joe the plumber, unless it’s a photo op.
    They absolutely, absolutely couldn’t care less about your opinion.

    This is not something that happened lately.
    This is the way it’s always been, before and during the foundation of our countries, and after, and it will be just as true long, long, long after we’re dead.

Their power ultimately comes from their control of money: its quantity, price (interest rate), and availability.   9. Basically these snips reveal nothing, except the banality and unrealistic expectations by Lindsay of American power and war. But, Lindsay is not alone in this. It infects most politicians and above all most Americans. It’s only slowly dawned on Americans that actual American power is not as strong as they thought and they’ve gotten concerned over how its implemented. Nonetheless they still give it a chance to be used. In turn the politicians ever mindful of risking too much, have always under resourced military assets. As a result the US has consistently over estimated its power and underestimated its enemies resulting in situations where the US has been unable to achieve rapid overwhelming victory despite having latent power to do so.

    For example, Lindsay speaking about a couple of cities falling, simply because we shellacked the Mullahs. Clearly, that didn’t happen. One wonders if it’s because the Iranians killed almost all of the dissidents willing to ride up last year when they murdered 40,000 of them in 48 hours or whether the Dissident movement isn’t strong, or whether the Dissident movement isn’t coordinating with the US or whether it doesn’t want to come out unnarmed during major combat operations or all of the above.

    Note, Mad Mullahs killed more Iranian dissidents in cold blood in 48 hours than the number of gun totting and rocket launching Sand N@ggers killed in their fortified schoolyards, natal care centers and hospitals in Gaza by the IDF in 3 years. Unlike their crazed radical Moslems the Democrats used under Obama to overthrow Islamo Fascist regimes in Syria and Libya, most Iranians dissidents actually appear to be civilized. So, maybe they aren’t the kind of people to ride up during a war, instead generally staying in doors and hunkered down unless they are armed, out of options, think help is on the way or all the above.

    In fact, one gets the distinct impression that unlike the Sand N@ggers in Syria and Libya, the dissidents who were gunned down in 48 hours by the Mad Mullahs are actually civilized liberals and not fuzzie wuzzie wearing ak47 wearing Sand N@gger militants of a different brand of Sand N@gger death cultism. While definitely organized and brave the loss of 40,000 of their bravest definitely hurt the cause perhaps even cripple it. Which goes to the point of when hawks like myself urged Trump to consider continuing air strikes to aid the uprisings. Regardless, when revolution didn’t happen, Lindsay should’ve questioned some key assumptions of his.

    About the only one who comes out looking judicious and careful is Bibi Netenyahu. His country has been fighting a 5 front war launched by Iran for 3 years now. It’s involved daily ballistic missile strikes, car bombings, and street sweeping murder missions by Sand N@ggers on the Israeli civilian population. Meanwhile IDF soldiers have been fighting large terror armies in caves, underground passages, and cities and villages in the West Banks, Gaza, and Lebanon. So when Lindsay says he’s gonna see about getting the US to attack Hezbollah, Bibi cauations him that will only escalate Hezbollah. Like that means even the Israelis are fighting within margins. Which means the conflict with the Sand N@ggers in the Middle East can get even bigger. The US had better plan accordingly and given the rather light footprint we have engaging with Iran, we aren’t.

    This war has been stupidly fought, with unrealistic expectations like every war America has fought since WWII except perhaps Panama, Gulf War One and Korea. In fact, this one has to have been one of the worst fought. It’s been 18 months into Trump’s term in which he was warned to mobilize America’s military industrial complex, go into a national wartime economy mode, stack federal authorities into a national campaign to mass report illegal aliens and arrest the vast Leftwing conspiracy, and halt all immigration and naturalizations. He hasn’t done anything of those. In turn as war has coming increasingly nearer to America, Trump has used small resources against big problems and everyone including Lindsay thought geweez boutique nich weapons products by the congomerates would solve it. Big, BIG, BIGLY mistake.

    If you live in South Carolina, volunteer for Mark Lynch’s campaign.

    If you live in Florida, volunteer for James Fishback’s campaign.

    Voting Democrat in the general election is lazy and stupid. Instead, support the Dissident Right candidates during the primary elections. If the Dissident Right candidate wins the primary, then give him full support during the general election. If the Dissident Right candidate loses the primary, then cast write-in protest votes during the general election.

    Even if we lose, this is the best way to build pressure for a real America First presidential candidate in 2028.

    To hell with the “binary choice” false narrative. You have multiple choices:
    1. If the Republican candidate is rock solid, give him full enthusiastic support. Donate to his campaign, volunteer for his campaign, put his signs in your yard.
    2. If the Republican is barely adequate, vote for him but don’t donate or volunteer.
    3. If the Republican is inadequate, cast a write-in protest vote or vote 3rd party.
