MAGA is going out in an orgy of corruption.

  1. Inflation generally benefits the top 10-1% at the expense of the bottom 90%.
    Look into it.
    It’s because the vast majority of their money is in appreciating assets.
    When the purchasing power of the dollar goes down, the value of their assets goes up.
    And it’s a seller’s market.
    They’re selling us the goods, making money off the expensive goods they sell, and passing on whatever extra costs they have to pay to the consumer.

    The interests of the rich aren’t our interests.
    No we’re not all in this together, it’s zero sum.
    Government works for them.
    So Trump is delivering, the stock market’s booming, the military industrial complex is booming, Trump has multiplied his family fortune, his kids have all gotten vastly richer.
    Trump is a winner, the American people are the losers.

    But generally it works like this in every country irrespective of party.
    No it’s not the Jews, Catholics, Muslims or leftists, that’s the distraction/deflection, it’s the iron law of oligarchy.
    This is the default, the norm.
    The exception is when things actually get better for the people, the rule is that at best they stay the same and at worst they get vastly worst.
    It’s not about isms, it’s not about high taxes and regulation versus low taxes and deregulation, they don’t care, they regulate and deregulate when and where it suits them, the house always wins.
    The only rule is the golden rule, the people with the gold, rule.

      • He has stated several times that he’s seriously considering not voting, especially after it was pointed out that the negroid clown he’d be voting for is an even bigger jewfellator than you yourself are. There are no choices for him in this farce of an “election”. Just stay home.

    • Yeah, these aren’t exactly precision strike bombs. These are fragmentary bombs with a radius of 1000 feet, designed to shred people in every direction.

      • A good number of those 2,000 Lb. bombs will be dropped on Lebanon. Our Greatest Ally is also saving many for Iran. The Usual Suspects are incensed that Trump, from their viewpoint, has failed to destroy Iran’s nuclear program and overthrow the Iranian government. They are working right now on getting the U.S. Government to resume attacks on Iran to “finish the job”.

        Perhaps there will be a false flag attack or two to get the always uninformed American public riled up after the next terrorist incident. Iran will be blamed instead of The Usual Suspects where the blame actually belongs. The FBI, at the direction of its boss, Johnathan Greenblatt, king of the ADL will be arresting antiwar/anti-conscription protesters for the crime of noticing and not supporting Our Greatest Ally. Tik Tok, Facebook, Twitter, Google etc. will be vigorously censoring heretical opinions against Our Greatest Ally, gently guided by the ADL of course.

        This is what is known as “Freedom of Speech and of the Press” in the wonderful “Our Democracy” we enjoy for now, until the wheels come off.

      Your first line is a good chastisement on those who thought Trump and co. would save or even help them. Everyone by now knows the good cop vs bad cop routine. The Democrats are the obvious bad cop by WN standards but how could anybody ever agree that the Repubs are the good cop?

      In our main library we have a book on Cicero. The classical period is one of my favorites.

  8. Here’s some good news about flock cameras: the Governor of Missouri has banned them in the state, saying they are unnecessary. Missouri is truly acting like a red state in this case. Glad I live here.

    Sorry, but it’s not just Anthropic. Palantir has been working on predictive policing and surveillance of dissidents for the US government for well over a decade. The goal of the Bush admin immediately after 9/11 was pre-crime via “Total Information Awareness” and they have been building it ever since, through the privatization of that program as Palantir. And there are other companies working toward this end to, all with ties to US intelligence or top US officials (Satellogic, SpaceX, Axon/Carbyne, etc.)

    Anthropic may be “building” their own private equivalent, but this is something the government and its other private contractors have already built. Under the first Trump admin, Bill Barr as AG created the legal framework for pre-crime. They are just waiting on the right excuse or justification to scale it.

    We have to realize how far along this is if we really want to stop it. It is now many companies ushering in a pre-crime paradigm, all with State backing.
