Raimondo Again

This time he is whining about the BNP’s success in the recent elections. They’re Nazis! They’re a threat to liberty! They’re protectionists! It is the same refrain as last time; the same language the neocons use to condemn paleos.

No, that’s not it at all. What truly bothers Raimondo is that the BNP are openly pro-white. His feelings about Jared Taylor are well known. Pat Buchanan and several of his paleocon friends like Tom Piatak are protectionists who want to subsidize the American auto industry and protect American manufacturing jobs. Buchanan has written about the issue for almost twenty years now. That has never caused Raimondo to stop his cheerleading for the “Old Right.”

To get a feel for Raimondo’s economic ideas, one only has to browse their source (Lew Rockwell.com) where he is a more regular contributor. Lew and friends can always be found cheering on the opening of every new Wal-Mart Supercenter, decrying the slowdown of third world immigration, attacking the critics of outsourcing, scaremongering about “red state fascism.” They are apostles of a purer strain of liberalism than any currently found on the Left.

  1. This dud(e) is starting to get really obnoxious!

I heard he may be part ‘eskimo’–if ya get my drift;-)…

  2. Actually, I think the “red state fascism” concept is useful. Those are the people who are responsible for Bush winning re-election and who stand in the way of an American racial-nationalist movement forming. They’re loyalty is to the state, the military, fundamentalist protestantism and regional culture rather than to race.
