The Straw Man – Which Would You Rather Have……?

Most OD readers probably know, or suspect that the Mainstream Media (MSM) and political elites use deceptive, lying propaganda to promote their anti White, anti-American policies. Today, we would like to explain one of their most effective, deceitful styles of argument:

The Straw Man.

Under Etymology:

“The Straw man is one of the best-named fallacies, because it is memorable and vividly illustrates the nature of the fallacy. Imagine a fight in which one of the combatants sets up a man of straw, attacks it, then proclaims victory. All the while, the real opponent stands by untouched.” (http://www.fallacyfiles.org/strawman.html

The MSM and the elites of both American political parties present the American public with only two false choices, then they take turns attacking the alternative choice as a straw man to be burnt to the ground.

Here are the two false choices::

Choice A) The Anti White, politically correct, cultural marxist, BRA, open borders immigration, anti White hate crime/thought crime legislation, Lib/Min, Democrats.

Choice B) The Neo Conservative, invade the world for Israel, open borders immigration for endless supply of cheap labor, endless borrowing to pay for both – marginalization of all Conservatives as NAZIs who object to Neo Con Wars, mass NW immigration, Republican business elite party.

The straw man argument goes like this:

“Which would you rather have, some Liberal Marxists who hates America, wants to take all your money in taxes, take away all your 2nd Amendment gun rights, destroy our military and surrender our country to Communists and Islamic terrorists or….

Our patriotic, pro military, Judeo Christian, “family values” (Neo) Conservative Republicans who will fight for FREEDOM AND DEMOCRACY against anti American dictators like SADDAM HUSSEIN, or those Crazed Islamo-Fascist in Iran who are developing nuclear weapons to use against Israel – our best friend in the world and then they’ll turn their nuclear weapons on us? Do you really want to let the Liberal Democrats let murderers, rapists and gang members to run wild and terrorize regular patriotic Americans like your family? Vote (Neo) Conservative, vote Republican”.

The way to counter the Straw man argument is to not choose either of the false choices. Choose

“None of the above”.

We can pursue immigration policies and foreign policies like Japan or Switzerland – protect our own people, protect our own borders and stay out of expensive foreign conflicts that have nothing to do with us.

If some fast talking political salesman comes to your door and says:

“Which would you prefer – having your daughter brutally raped by Turko Mongolian Muslim extremist Khalid Mohammed or have your daughter brutally raped by New York Jewish “porn star” Ron Jeremy (they look like identical twins!). The best response is to shout: “None of the above”, slam the door in the guy’s face.

  2. Very good analysis of the Republicrat one party state. But you mention under alternative B “mass NW immigration”. I assume NW=Northwest. Are you insinuating that Harold Covington’s Northwest Front is actually a project of the Republican party? People in the southeast are drowning in a tar pit of monkoids. People in the SW are going to Taco Hell on the fast train. Should we just all drown and become minorities (with the resultant lowered quality of life it will give our children socially, economically, educationally, etc. I don’t think the lone white kid in a class full of monkoids or taco afficionados will learn much at all other than how much they are hated. The status quo is dying. There will be one more generation before whites are minorities in every state of the SW and SE. What is YOUR proposal?? Covington and his predecessors (Pastor Butler et al) put forth a plan. I don’t think it’s perfect. But it’s more of a plan than I ever saw come out of the “Cesspool” or this website. It’s easy to criticize others. But a real man is defined as having a vision. What is your vision for White survival, sir?

  14. Jack, it’s not a salesman making a pitch, it’s a very real choice we are left with. And perhaps we are left with this choice because our forbears were too distracted to realize the gravity of the choices before them.

    Our agenda is separate from BRA’s, to be sure. Yet one candidate will better serve our ends than the other. This is the choice before us. We cannot slam the door in its face. That is wishful thinking.

    I do not believe anything we want will ever manifest in our lifetime if we do not do a complete purge of neocon ideology from the Republican Party. Basically, if we do not purge the Party, we have no team representing us.

    I say we field a team that plays for us, even if poorly, or field no team at all. Not field a team that’s going to use all your gear, all your people and all your hopes and nail you to the wall with them.

    After reading such sites as yours-and others in the same vein-I am of the opinion
    that it must be broken up before it is fixed-bring it down! I talk to people [friends,relatives] who have no clue about our dire situation-so instead of talking with them I just smile-they are clue-less,so I just smile knowing that it must be brought down before it can be…fixed? Bring the motherf…r down

    Yes, Anon – you are right. I was using NW immigration – short for “non White” immigration.

    I would like for readers to comment on the deceitful argumentative technique of using “the Straw man” – setting up an easy opponent to burn up as the only alternative to your side. The Jews and other anti White forces do this all the time. The Jews set up Neo Conservatism as the only acceptable “Conservative” alternative to PC liberalism and most White fell for it, backed Neo Con Jew wars against Iraq, thought Neo Cons were decent strong on illegal immigration, they were not.

    Please learn to see the Straw man deception- either bad choice A or bad choice B.

    There are always other choices between the two bad choices offered to us.

  22. Not that it necessarily matters Denise. I’m fair certain we’ll be in full scale WW3 by the election or shortly thereafter no matter who wins. In that case who wouldn’t wish we had kept it at home? There are people here that need warred against far more than elsewhere.

  24. Remember, gang: BRA lasts only as long as BRA has the power to enforce its edicts. Anything that reduces or interrupts BRA’s ability to project power to the heartland reduces or interrupt’s BRA’s existence in the heartland.

    How long do you think “civil rights” would last in America without the threat of a federal soldier to enforce civil rights laws? Or put another way: how long do you think blacks could stand alone against Whites in hometown USA?

    This is not South Africa. No coalition of nations can enforce their will upon us here. The only thing — ONLY THING — keeping BRA in existence is the U.S. military’s ability to force integration at bayonet point. Take away those bayonets and BRA dies. Take away BRA and the natural social order in North America returns — with a vengeance.

    We all have our faults and idiosyncrasies. I certainly have mine.

    I mentioned that I was a public school teacher in Red Hook Brooklyn NY after I graduated Vanderbilt in the late 1980s. Though I had many bright students, the educational environment was terrible as my mostly Black and Latino 7th and 8th grade students just couldn’t stay focused; they would fall down in to disorder, chaos, run around chasing whatever thought came in and out of their heads.

    I like to think our own White American people/Conservatives/Alternative Right/WN wouldn’t have the same problems – but we often do have this problem – there is a lack of focus, people can’t concentrate on the subject at hand.

    I like to see the comments sections, conservative meetings, political campaigns stay…

    But, often people get off topic and chase after whatever is in their heads at the time. It’s the teacher in me that I try to strive for

    Order, focus.

    This post about the deceptive “Straw man” argument is just one type of deception, but it is very effective deception and our people need to recognized the fallacy of the “Straw man” argument.

  48. This comes from well before the theory about Khazars. The charioteers from the Oxus are supposed to be a this explosive event in the history of military conquest. I’m pretty sure the Exodus story is conected to the expulsion of the Hyksos by the native Egyptians (borrowing bits here bits there) . I’m not suggesting they were heroic charioteers, but perhaps the oily camp followers who ran the brothels, gambling houses and loansharks who you always find in the wake of a conqueror.
