This Wasn’t the Year… Not for the Chicago Cubs, Not For Ron Paul or Any Libertarian Presidential Candidates

Wait Until Next Year... the Cubs and Libertarians Will Not Give Up

Chicago, IL – it’s late August here in Chicago. The Chicago Cubs are 31 games under .500, 29 1/2 games out of first place. Even dire hard Chicago Cub fans have sadly, come to the realization that….

This wasn’t the year.

The last time the Chicago Cubs won any baseball championship was 1945 – the year we dropped the A bomb on Japan; all of the able bodied, young American men were in military uniforms, not in Chicago Cubs uniforms. It was a 4F, old men season, maybe there will be another one… next year. There’s always next year for Cubs fans.

In a similar vein, this was not the year that Ron Paul or any other Liberatrian, economic conservative broke through and was elected President of the United States – Ron Paul will not be ending the welfare state, reversing the Great Society, the New Deal, ending Medicaid and Social Security, privatizing the entire US public school system, enacting right to work laws in all 50 states, breaking the Teamsters Union, the UAW, the United Mine Workers Union and allowing “American” businesses to hire and fire whoever they want, with wages determined by “free markets”, and the American labor force opened up to 2 billion 3rd world workers, under Libertarian free market principles of open borders immigration.

Ron Paul and his never say die Libertarian supporters made a valiant effort to reach out to Blacks, Hispanics, even Muslim immigrants associated with Al Qaeda 9-11-01 terrorists. Ron Paul was the only GOP presidential candidate to back the Ground Zero Mosque and explain that the 9-11-01 mass murder of our people was an understandable Islamic response to the USA’s mistreatment of the Palestinians and the US having military bases in Saudi Arabia.

All of Ron Paul’s outreach/pandering to Muslim immigrants didn’t result in winning Ron Paul the nomination. Neither did Ron Paul’s pledge to set free all Black African Americans in prison for trafficking in hard drugs like crack cocaine and heroin. Ron Paul and other Libertarian economic Conservatives were polling less than 1 percent amongst Black voters… maybe these Black voters haven’t read enough Austrian free market economics books… or maybe they don’t read any books.

Yeah, this wasn’t the year for Libertarian, economic conservative Presidential candidates or the Chicago Cubs.

American nationalist leader George Rockwell stated in 1966 that Libertarian/economic conservative Presidential candidates were doomed to fail. After the ’64 Goldwater debacle, Rockwell stated with 100 percent assurance that no Libertarian economic conservative Presidential candidate would ever win the support of poor and working class White voters.

But, 45 years later we’ve had to suffer the failures of Jack Kemp, Phil Graham, Steve Forbes, Ron Paul and other Libertarian Party Presidential candidates that no one can remember.

Who ran as the Libertarian Presidential candidate in 1992? Who was the second string catcher for the 1977 Chicago Cubs? Who cares?

No this wasn’t the year for the Chicago Cubs or Libertarian, economic conservative Preidential candidates.

Oh well, there’s always next year. This is for sure….. they’ll be back.

  1. The cousin marriage model also makes democratic practices virtually impossible.
Orthodox Jews also run into the same conflict.

  2. Some of us seem to have been mischaracterised as “a bunch of worthless intellectual cowards, obsessed with obscure theological, intellectual divisions from foreign lands in past times” when in fact we take our unequivocal stand for truth, here and elsewhere, including REAL LIFE, at considerable personal risk — and the so-called obscure foreign past “divisions” that we hold and champion are in fact the indispensable foundation of white civilisation.

A policy of silencing and limiting Christian commentary here would be discordant with historically Christian southern culture, and since we are “trying to get…better at communicating with regular White people, learning to reach the hearts and minds of our people,” then any moderate, reasonable, accurate references to the one true religion to which many of our best people still cling, ought to be welcome here.

  3. In Fr John’s recent post http://thewhitechrist.wordpress.com/2012/09/02/od-doomed-to-follow-santayanas-words/#comment-1234 he wrote that —

summing up in a few words my own main objection, as a believer in Christ, to the false ideology of Libertarianism. However, despite Ron Paul’s Libertarian tendencies (but he does confess to Christian faith) his overall constitutionally conservative net tendency (including states’ rights emphasis, limiting federal authority and ending global wars) was much more in our favour when weighed against the platform and governing history of the Mormon candidate.

    http://godfatherpolitics.com/6868/the-story-that-could-win-mitt-romney-the-presidency/

Whatever we think of Romney he seems to know how to get things done. It’s hard to believe how anyone could place credence in the Joseph Smith story about angel Moroni and the plates. But, I’ll not go there.

Anyway, my story of a Mormon encounter about 30 years ago.

I was driving to Lake Geneva Wi. and was caught in a snow storm. My Trans Am for whatever reason was always tough to keep on the road in winter weather. Even though I drove well under the speed limit I spun out and the rear end got stuck in a ditch. Here I was on a country road in the middle of nowhere, after dark, no cell phone in those days, and no farm house or building in sight. I tried to push the car out but couldn’t quite manage.

My footing happened to be in ice-water. I exhausted myself to no avail. What to do? I got back in the car, turned on the motor and cranked up the heat full blast. My teeth were chattering, my body was shivering, legs felt like ice cubes and I was hoping/praying someone would pass by. Fortunately, my tank was 3/4 full.

I must have fallen asleep and was startled by the sound of a car door slamming. A middle aged man walked over to my door, introduced himself, and asked if I needed help.

Oh, was I glad to see him. “Yeah, I need help, I’m stuck in the ditch.” I asked if he could get me to a phone or drive me to town. He looked over the situation and said he could push me out. He waved to his car, an older model station wagon. A woman (his wife) and two boys came over. He told me to get in and they would push me out. No, no, no, I said, you’ll get soaking wet in ice-water. He waved me back and they all got behind and pushed that Pontiac up onto the road. I was overjoyed.

They quickly scampered back to their car. I always kept a hundred dollar bill in my ash tray in case of emergencies. I didn’t smoke so that was a good place. It was my custom in those days to carry gospel tracts with me to leave in gas stations, restaurants etc.

I got out of my car with the bill tucked inside a tract, thanked them profusely and said I had to pay them for their kindness. He declined. I then handed him the tract and asked him to read it when they had the time. He smiled, nodded and rolled up the window.

I went back to my vehicle, cranked up the heater again and sat for a while. Once again, I heard a door slam. This time the lady came over to my door. I hit the window button and she handed me a couple dozen eggs. Said they were fresh and wanted me to have them. Well, I thought to myself, isn’t that nice.

I told her I was headed back to the main highway and she said they would follow to make sure I made it safely. I drove, they followed behind and we waved good bye at the highway which was salted and clear of snow.

I made it home safely and slept well that night. In the morning I remembered the eggs and told my wife we were going to have farm fresh omelettes for breakfast. I opened the carton and to my surprise were beautiful brown eggs with my hundred dollar bill folded on top of them. Well I’ll be!

A business associate lived in Burligton and I told him of the incident and the name of the man who helped me. He said, “I know the family… they’re Mormons.

  5. Exactly Mosin Nagant! But, those of us that see this, did not all start out this way. I’m sure you’ll agree. We had focused on the main issues not realizing we needed to focus on the foundational issues which are the very heart of “our” problem. We’ve had an epiphany whereas they have not. All of our problems have been created and enforced by the federal government.

  6. Mosin Nagant says:

@ Ryan: That the “economic conservative message simply doesn’t sell to poor and working class White voters, never has, never will” may very well be true of the urban crowd you hang out with, but it is NOT true of poor rural whites.

I’ve met more working class RP supporters than middle-class/ upper middle, usually because they are the furthest away from getting Warfare-Welfare checks (a main reason people support Statism).

Due to union politics, though, some have to register democrat, but that’s just for work reasons and doesn’t reflect their real feelings. Also, many have business with government contracts, like infrastructure building, both in the states and overseas.

Also, they have less time to devote to the leisure of visible politics, like going to rallies, despite their real feelings.

Finally, many —although they are the Angriest— and understand the issues the best, would feel out of place at a rally. They’ve been too screwed over, they know it’s just a t.v. show, and going to those things feels beneath their common sense.)

These are workers that actually start their day in union-necessitated exercise sessions done in Spanish at 6 a.m. The rest of the trashy Americans never bother to find out about their lives and challenges at all.

In my experience, they fear political action and the government more than, perhaps, any other group. The usual thing, if you say “if you’re for RP, why don’t you go to a rally, write him in,” etc. Is that it will do no good. Also, you just get your name put on a list. Or your license platte on file. And they need to work.

  7. @….“Libertarians are not viable…(for) the main reason…(that) they actually believe people to be ontologically ‘good’ inside! (…) There is such a thing as original sin… (etc.)” —

My understanding of “original sin” is somewhat different (probably more like RP’s) and I do not think this is speaking to the essence of man as prone to be a sinner. (You would not see me as a proper christian, no doubt). But it seems Man can be a sinner or not and this is a choice, with both potentials obviously inside him, and both options obviously outside him, also, already existing in the world when he is born and throughout his life..

But say MAN is prone to EVIL. Then wouldn’t Libertarianism make BETTER sense? If Man is prone to evil, then institutions would be even more so, for all the usual reasons: larger, faceless, less accountability, the mirror of a culture of corruption, etc.

If that’s true— Libertarianism is the better choice for any Christian of that type, as it curbs the access of Faceless Centralized groups that will necessarily be corrupt.

Holy Roman Theocracy or The Worker Internationale, more so it’s PC form, or World Militarist-Corporatism will all produce more evil than local regionalism with a christian tone (whether orthodox, protestant or roman, or a mix of all).

  8. @ “…..Whatever we think of Romney he seems to know how to get things done. It’s hard to believe how anyone could place credence in the Joseph Smith story about angel Moroni and the plates. But, I’ll not go there….”

Way too far OT, but surely one cannot separate that Moroni Appearance from the politics of the 1830s and the historical context in which it occurred.

A study of how it may have contributed to the South’s Independence War and the building blocks for the sort of Centralization that would follow after— is something I’d like to research someday.

There are religions, and then there are seemingly obvious Political groups formulating, truly as such, under the guise of churches, and that was true before 501C. Maybe it’s more like Westboro Baptist with it’s civil rights attorney leadership, etc, or Jim Jones, and the Muscone election/demise or whatever.

With Romney— that’s really what more concerns me. What’s the real history behind the formation of LDS and who owns him/ them, really?

  9. Ron Paul supporters are the only ones that take a Systems Approach and ‘big picture view,’ at Snowwhitey says, looking at the fundamentals.

Many Americans, especially outside cities, are this way. They all agree “the government is crazy.”

They also don’t support RP because they’re just so disenfranchised. Most I talk to, talk more about just leaving the country, that kind of thing.

All they would have to do, is override the system and elect someone s/a him, but they say he would just be taken out, like JFK or many others.

  10. Dixiegirl wrote: “If Man is prone to evil, then institutions would be even more so, for all the usual reasons: larger, faceless, less accountability, the mirror of a culture of corruption, etc.” Yes, man truly IS prone to sin, and the system of the “mixed polity” of checks and balances, rule of law rather than man, etc., local and state rights over federal power, etc., all are attempts to curb the accumulation of power by the more evil. Note: I’m not a Calvinist, Dixiegirl. Many centuries ago a certain Welsh monk (almost universally maligned for it) expressed very well the position I hold on depravity, and of course Jesus, and Paul in the scriptures expressed it perfectly.

  11. Well, OT, where we cannot go, but it would be interesting to know your position on depravity— did take you for a Calvinist.

The goodness of man (if I have to chose EITHER good OR evil, which seems nuts in a world where both obviously exist) is something I personally uphold. It’s a fallen world, however, due to the sinners always already here. Some are evil, some are innocent and seduced. Ages with more or less, come and go.

The u.s. seems a quicksand of evil at the moment, with many citizens going down, eyes wide in confusion, flailing their arms.

But it’s not their Essence, imo.

  12. “There are way too many polygamous matings with first cousins (or even more incestuously with your brother’s daughter) in the Arab world for it to be healthy genetically. This can result in dangerous behavioral phenotypes among the population.”- Rudel

But Rudel, Second Cousin marriages often led to stronger familial alliances, and are supported by (darn, here we are again…the interesection of religion and politics/demography/destiny.) Mosaic Law, and were practiced quite readily in the Antebellum South, and is still allowed in most of the, errr…. ’57’ states our current president said he knows so well…..

    http://thewhitechrist.wordpress.com/2011/10/14/on-submitting-to-elders/

  13. Dixieg- It took me a minute to understand what OT was. I don’t consider it off topic to discuss the ways in which a man’s theological worldview will enable him (or not, in the case of Bill Clinton, Barack HUSSEIN Obama, Barney Frank, etc., and yes, Teddy Kennedy) to rule a nation. Indeed, I consider it a fundamental part of ANY INTELLIGENT Discussion.

But, as far as original/birth sin, let’s just assume that Mosin and I are correct. When you see a person doing evil, you realize that it’s inherent in their nature. (That doesn’t make it right, you understand. You just adopt a much more realistic expectation of all men- that they are going to #$%^ up in this life, because of their ‘sin nature.’)

You also realize that, when a man (or a race/nation/group) is GOOD, it is going ‘against his/their nature’ and that must mean, either he/they are superhuman, or has/have been AIDED by someone else, to be as ‘good’ as their righteous deeds make them appear to be. Christians believe that is God, (in the Person of the H.S., and via the propitiation of Christ on the Cross, as St. John notes in I John 2:2.)

Western Civ is full of these stories of nobility, honor, service, martyric self-sacrifice- indeed, it is this that sets apart all other ‘literatures’ on the planet. The reason for that ‘set apartness’ is due to the Biblical Doctrine of Election, or ‘Divine Choosing’. White Western Racially Aware Christians know that this is God’s doing, and not ours. This, too, is why it (Election) is often contained/explained in the Calvinist system of salvation, commonly known as TULIP. Many people think the concept of Total Depravity (the “T” in TULIP) means that man is as evil as he can be. That’s not biblical- nor is it Augustinian, or even Calvinist. TD (to abbreviate) means that ‘Man is as bad as he is’- and that (when you think long and hard about it) is bad enough….

And that transferrability of our fallen (bad as he is) hominid nature, via procreation, is what is meant by Original Sin. Now, to apply this (so we aren’t accused of being OT) to the political/racial sphere.

BLACKS commit far more crimes in proportion to their RACE, than WHITES do.
HIstorically, it was because Whites either considered a) the blacks’ skin to be the image of their unregenerate souls, or that b) they were ‘as children’ are in White culture, unable to determine good from evil’- which, by now, you should see, would mean that Whites effectively (as they do, to this day, in a different fashion) ‘absolve’ Blacks from the consequences of their actions- which helps no one, black OR white.

JEWS LIE often (think Bernie Madoff as the most recent exemplar), and are encouraged to do so by their Talmud (and the Kol Nidrei oath, taken during the coming month), whereas Christians, by their regenerate natures, and their law code, are forbidden to lie in the same manner.

So, to apply this to what OD is discussing: Where would you rather live with Whites, or Blacks?
Would you rather do business with a Christian, or a Jew?
Would you rather have a Christian White Homeland, or a Multicultural, ‘law as expedient’ proposition nation?
Which one is more to your liking? The answer to THAT, will (I am fairly certain) also tell you where you stand on the “regeneration as necessary to salvation” scale, as well.

It ALL comes down to theology, DIXIG. And WHICH theology is to inform your worldview. So, we’ve seen that RP’s libertarianism, and Arminian Methodism led him to believe that man was ‘pefectable’ on his own; we’ve seen that LDS Romney believes in (again a sort of ‘secularized Calvinist) works righteousness, because of his church; and- if history tells us anything- that Calvinist American Colonies gave the world a government for sane, rational, moral, and predestinating-believing White People.

I merely point out these things in my posts and occasionally here on OD, to clear the air, and encourage thought of the issues that REALLY matter. Hope that helps. Here’s a comparison (so they think) of RC and Calvinist systems on this point- let it never be said I don’t allow the enemy to state their case, freely! (Though I disagree with the conclusions this RC makes- as you would expect I would- for the Council of Orange was Orthodox. Modern Rome- is not, de facto. QED.
    http://socrates58.blogspot.com/2009/01/catholic-sola-gratia-vs-calvinist-total.html

  14. Good post Fr. John. Indeed it all comes down to worldview, which is intimately related to how you’ve been taught to view God or God’s expectations. It’s all about the download. This is why children are always the targets of those who wish to change the culture. Control the download, control the world.

In this respect, the culture with the tightest download is the culture that is going to win. Which means white America isn’t going to be winning anything for a long, long time. White American sovereignty. The doormat of the FedGov league.

  15. “Second Cousin marriages often led to stronger familial alliances, and are supported by (darn, here we are again…the interesection of religion and politics/demography/destiny.) Mosaic Law”

Third cousin marriages have been shown statistically to be healthier than second cousin marriages as far as reducing the number of defective genes being passed on. They also seem optimal as far as preserving the culture of the clan in question. Indeed they were probably the most prevalent form of marriage as any greater average of inconsaguinity in our ancestral trees would have been mathematically impossible due the fact that their isn’t enough historical population to have supported it.

Mosaic Law is merely the traditional fold wisdom passed down that warns about the effects of first cousin marriages. Much as the prohibition of consuming pork is folk wisdom about spreading trichinosis. Since Iron Age man had little science these truths were transmitted via religious custom.

  16. The Idea of Good and Evil becomes Moot if you teach children Moral Relativism through the Indoctrination of “Diversity”. Some people and some culture being equal to ALL OTHERS including Naked Savagery and Satanic Beliefs destroys any semblance of Natural or Divine Order and replaces it with Complete Anarchy.

Libertarians do not believe in ANY Collective Action, which precludes not just Altruism, but also Cooperative Efforts to resist Evil. Ayn Rand (not her real name) was a Jew, and therefore well aware of the Effectiveness of Collective Action. Is it really accidental that she introduced the “goyim” to a philosophy of action that leads to atomization and prevents the adherents from forming groups to fight other groups?

Whites are prevented by law and the Jewsmedia from forming effective interest groups, while our enemies like the blacks, hispanics , but especially Jews are encouraged and taught to form Collective Grievance Societies for the purposes of disenfranchising Whites, taking White possessions and wealth, and ultimately White Genocide!

Ron Paul being an adherent to this Jewish Ruse to prevent effective defense by Whites is just as Dangerous and Anti-White as Idi Amin, jr. He may not seem inherently Evil, but his praise of that Fraud MLK, and his pushing the meme of Racism by Whites against blacks being the reason for high incarceration rates is just as Anti-White as anything that the POS POTUS and his pals like Holder, Farrakhan, Wright, etc. promulgate!

RINO Romney may not be much better, but what does one expect when AIPAC chooses ALL the Candidates? All I know is if Romney is Elected POTUS, the Union Army gets sent to the Middle East before Civil War II. An Iranian Campaign is just what is needed to finally bankrupt the FEDGOV ZOG/BRA Frankenstein’s Monster!

When the Money runs out, the Jews will lose their grip on America, and Whites can FINALLY do something about taking back the Country. With the US Military in the Middle East, Southrons and other Whites stand a Fighting Chance of Abolishing FEDGOV and installing a Pro-White Sane Government!

  17. Dammit, Rudel, I wasn’t going to make any more off topic comments on this post, but you folks just wouldn’t leave it alone. Now I have to chime in on this damn inbreeding mess.

The truth of the matter is that when inbreeding is properly done, it can have fantastically positive results. EVERY breed of dog, cat, horse, cow, pig, goat and chicken is the result of inbreeding.

The difference between the outcome that experienced animal breeders get and the results that human inbreeders get is that the people who develop breeds and bloodlines of animals are are highly critical of the specimens they breed, whereas, Arabs and mountain folk everywhere seem to go by less stringent criteria such as who is handy or who loses the foot race.

  18. I would challenge the prohibition on pork as a taboo that institutionalizes Folk wisdom.

Taboo’s are used to create insiders and outsiders.

Look at hippie foodies obsessed by organic. It’s not actually about health. It’s about creating “better than thou” groups. The ritually clean and the unclean.

One technical point about pigs. They were used as trash disposal chutes in the ME.

  19. “Libertarians do not believe in ANY Collective Action”

Oh really? Then how do you suppose they think mines, refineries, and factories get built.

BTW Alisa Rosenbaum was anti-Zionist, detested the Libertarian Party, and was a life long conservative Republican of the Bob Taft sort even going so far as supporting Richard Nixon in the 1972 presidential campaign despite his having imposed wage and price controls!

This entire dishonest straw man thread by Jack Ryan falsely imputes all sorts of anarchist opinions to any and all libertarians when all small “l” libertarianism is is a belief in the efficacy of trade between consenting adults free from government interference. A position, I might add, that was a founding principle of the Confederacy.

  20. “The difference between the outcome that experienced animal breeders get and the results that human inbreeders get is that the people who develop breeds and bloodlines of animals are are highly critical of the specimens they breed, whereas, Arabs and mountain folk everywhere seem to go by less stringent criteria such as who is handy or who loses the foot race.”

Yes, unlike animal breeders humans are much less likely to practice infanticide. This is all soon to become moot as the direct manipulation of plant genomes is already here and direct manipulation of human germ line genomes is just around the corner.

  21. “I merely point out these things in my posts and occasionally here on OD, to clear the air, and encourage thought of the issues that REALLY matter.”

All these sectarian Christian arguments about original sin, free will, and the operations of God’s grace are meaningless, circular, solipsistic arguments about nothing because there is absolutely NO EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER that an omnipotent and all-knowing “God” even exists.

  22. “Yes, unlike animal breeders humans are much less likely to practice infanticide. This is all soon to become moot as the direct manipulation of plant genomes is already here and direct manipulation of human germ line genomes is just around the corner.”

Which makes all comments about ‘folk wisdom’ moot, wouldn’t you say, when it comes down to moral decisions, such as ‘Thou shalt have none other gods but YHWH,’ when it comes to deciding whether or not ‘Man’ (i.e., White Man) should have the power of life and death over such momentous elements, as genetic manipulation- whether of corn, a la Monsanto, and their demonic power grabs of land, titles, and crops of those farmers unlucky enough to be near GMO crops- or the concept of Frankenstein – that is cloning of humans, genetic manipulation, etc. that Shelley saw back in the ‘dark ages’ of the early Victorian era.

Seems like the more we progress without God, the more we regress to the state of animal savagery.

  23. “Afaik she supported Israel as the lesser evil against “savages”.”

That’s plain old-fashioned European imperialism, not Zionism.

  24. I believe Ron Paul praised MLK at the bequest of his handlers. He knows MLK was a communist. He, too, has to play the game to some degree. Romney has praised MLK as well. I am certain Ron Paul is awake but could never, ever speak of most of the things he knows about our government without alienated himself even further. Americans don’t want the truth and until that changes, we will all live in darkness.

Libertarian views are white-oriented. And, they would only work well in an all-white, all-Christian republic.

  25. “Seems like the more we progress without God, the more we regress to the state of animal savagery.”

That is merely increased technological sophistication. I can respect an agrarian Luddite argument but if you actually believed it yourself you would turn off your computer and stop taking anti-biotics when you got sick. It’s all irrelevant anyway, the genie is out of the bottle and BTW the ancient Greeks first pointed this out in the myth of Icarus. There is no need for Jesus in order to argue the point.

  26. I have the cell phone number of the CEO of Monsanto. He’s a Jewish lawyer backed by a team of patent lawyer specialists. To be fair to them they are responsible for the high yields that allow the massive global population. They are very much an offshoot of plantation and farm agricultural science. It’s hard to intellectually separate what they do from other forms of horticultural alchemy.

If this stuff jumps into human selection I suspect nature will crush us.

  27. “If this stuff jumps into human selection I suspect nature will crush us.”

I fear you are right. Every one of our possible dystopian fantasies has a distinct possibility of occurring; clone wars, human-machine cyborgs, chimerical warriors, terminator robots, the works. If it can be built it will be built.

The best case scenario for the race is probably a soft tyranny a la author Aldous Huxley’sBrave New World. The worst case scenario is the surface of the planet covered with a thick, seething dust of unintelligent self-replicating nanobots steadily and busily consuming the earth down to its core.

  28. The problem with all of you high IQ no-God Libertarians is that you can’t understand the needs of the average Joe. In other words, your brains supersede your souls. And although many of us can understand your argument, it lacks sauce. It’s all dry, like your mechanical intellect. Unfortunately for you, the vast majority of people need more than what you offer. No matter what, Government is going to play a large part of our lives. Objective and small or not, it will still take our money, make decisions for us, send us off to war, and undoubtedly and as sure as the sun shines, seek its own aggrandizement.

It’s too bad you’re too smart to imagine a world peopled by anyone but yourselves, a world which for vast majority of us smells like rotten fish. Down here in the flesh and blood, the machine is more than its parts.

It’s funny, because you rail against the existence of God, but even further from any factual basis in belief is the Government of Sages for the enlightened masses you imagine.

  29. Just for the record, I am neither Libertarian or no-God. Although I am a non-practicing Catholic, I do not believe I need a middleman to speak with the higher power.

  30. I understand the average Joe because I am an average Joe. Does the average Joe understand the needs of others? I just happen to think for myself. I want the government out of my life because it harms me more than it helps me.

  31. ”Alisa Rosenbaum was anti-Zionist, detested the Libertarian Party, and was a life long conservative Republican”:

She detested Libertarians mostly because they “stole” her message without giving credit, and did not accept her “philosophy.”

She said she is “NOT A CONSERVATIVE” but rather, a “RADICAL FOR CAPITALISM” — and she was not a Republican either, though she supported Wilkie and Goldwater somewhat, and even Nixon, somewhat, in the beginning, and she praised Ford once for installing her former disciple Alan Greenspan. How is radical atheism conservative?

  32. Was she really anti-Zionist? There was one exception to her denial of race: She suggested that there is one group that deserves reparations or other preferential discriminatory treatment is the Jewish people who have suffered so much injustice.
So she was not really Republican, conservative, or anti-Zionist.

  33. I am astounded at how many stupid lies are spewed forth by the dimwits on this site whenever I point out errors of fact on their part. Don’t be petulant little b@@@@@@ guys. Either man up and admit your ignorance or S@@@@

  34. Snowhitey, clearly that comment wasn’t meant for you. It was a response to Rudel’s 5:32 comment, and an amalgamation of character traits of hard core Libertarians I have known, none of which you should have recognized in yourself.

Nice swipe at Catholics though. Little did I know I was praying to a middleman all these years. Thanks for the heads up.

  35. I am neither a member of the Libertarian Party nor do I believe in the possibility of enlightenment for the masses. I actually think that religion has some sort of adaptive positive social function as it seems to be a universal aspect of human societies.

Would a libertarian candidate be more appealing to you if he promised to provide subsidies for cheap beer and chips for you Average Joes? Would that sauce it up enough for you? How about if they made the banks provide sub prime loans to you guys so that you could buy dually pickups and bass boats that you can’t afford? That’s pretty saucy.

Has it ever occurred to you that the reason the government wants to make decisions for you Average Joes is that most of you don’t exhibit much skill in making your own life decisions?

If Woodrow Wilson’s eugenics program had succeeded, we probably wouldn’t NEED as much government as we have today.

  37. And furthermore, I think the Cubs will go all the way next time. I hate puppies and kittens, but I like Farrakhan and MLK. I support man/cow marriage.

There. That should stir up enough s@@@ to push these comments over the 300 mark.

  38. Hurrah for free speech on Hunter’s blog, as we continue our discussion of the main thread topic: Ron Paul.

What have we learned here? That he was an OLD (!) BELIEVER (!) in TRUTH (!) — or SEEMED to believe when he was in fact set up by the SECRET GLOBAL CONSPIRACY (that WE know all about) as the false “constitutionalist” candidate with secret directions to mislead, sidetrack and discourage the next generation of intelligent whites who might-otherwise-have-become true conservatives!) — and that he was also too old — and not even a Republican but in fact a true LIBERTARIAN (!) — making him the choice of fools who think they are wise, not of regular working class whites who all to a man want to keep all of their subsidies in exchange for all of their liberties — and who would have been a much worse President for whites than Romney because of that kind of policy — and that, furthermore, he was MUCH TOO OLD to be even a Presidential CANDIDATE!

What else have we learned here? That “RAND” Paul, however, is a GOOD man, MUCH younger, a Republican, a supporter of Romney, and truly worthy of our support, possibly our next President. And that Christian priniciples are FOREIGN “obscure divisions” that belong to another long-ago time and place, not relevant to the present age, having no bearing on our discussion of politics.

  39. “Ron Paul will not be ending the welfare state, reversing the Great Society, the New Deal, ending Medicaid and Social Security, privatizing the entire US public school system….” What is good about this outcome?

Just imagine if he had somehow won, perhaps due to extreme volunteer activism and “awakening” of middle class whites. The easiest planks of his platform to enact, then, with the help of some of the Congress, would be those that happen to be the least beneficial or harmful to us.

There is much more work to be done on the local and state levels to elect MANY more truly constitutional conservative legislators, before a Ron Paul type of President could really benefit us. But suppose he used his commander-in-chief authority to bring home the troops and end the global war? Of course this is all make believe.

“When we get to 301, can we have a music break?”

    Jack Ryan replies:

What type of music would you like to hear?

On balance, my musical choices have been favorably received here.

  41. Nah, Landshark, I didn’t take it as directed at me. It just gave me an opportunity to define myself. As for the middleman, I don’t pray to a middleman. I don’t need the Vatican’s snake oil salesmen (maybe not all but most of them are) to guide me through life. As with all organized religions, most of us know it’s just a business….. It’s unfortunate the churches are so corrupt because I do believe Christianity serves a great purpose in keeping us on the straight and narrow…..

Anyway, most white Americans are not yet ready for liberty or Libertarians.

  42. Mosin Nagant: One thing that I know is true is that neither Republicans, Democrats or Libertarians can fix what’s wrong with this shotgun wedding union. We need a game changer. A diversion. In the past, that has usually came in the form of world wide warfare. American politicians and their Pentagon henchmen have never been accused of forming original thoughts, so I believe that they will stick to what worked before.

With any luck, those who rule this scorched land in the aftermath will recite the 14 words when they assemble rather than pledging allegiance to the damn Yankee flag.

  43. “What type of music would you like to hear? On balance, my musical choices have been favorably received here.”

Yes, they’ve all been good choices, I think, and your other posts are generally followed by the longest discussion threads, despite (of perhaps in part because of) the frequent editings and deletions.

  44. If vowels were a nickel and consonants were a dime, this thread would probably be worth a million bucks.
