   Here’s something to factor into your calculations. In Ohio 1/3 of the voters are registered independents. In Pennsylvania 12% or about 1 Million voters are registered independents. My guess is that Romney will sweep the independent vote giving him a win in both states.

   In VA the transplanted Catholics, Jews, and other non-Whites will make things tighter.

    Human nature. A majority will split along socio-economic lines. Minorities will mostly vote tribally. As white people lose majority status they’ll start to vote tribally too and the country will balkanize. 15. (1) Bush made a huge push for amnesty on three occasions … but it was blocked each time by Republicans in Congress. In fact, that was the highwater mark of the “nativist” movement.

    (2) Obama gave an amnesty to millions of illegal aliens, not just DREAMers, but virtually every young illegal alien in America. For some reason, Luis Gutierrez is already boasting that immigration reform is a done deal if Obama is reelected.

    (3) Obama was distracted in his first term by healthcare reform and other issues which Democrats considered more pressing.

    (4) It is important not to paint with too broad a brush: generally speaking, House and Senate Republicans are much more reliable on immigration than they were just a few years ago, and the situation has improved at the state level in the South.

    (5) He’s deported more hardened criminals in order to use that as an excuse to ignore deporting your run of the mill illegal in workplace raids.

    Those sort of arguments only make sense in a homogenous population. In tribal politics you have to make sure everyone in the tribe gets a piece of pie (even if they’re not all the same size). 18. The country is not going to be literally balkanized in 2016 or 2020. This is likely the final election for a good long time where a white man has a chance of winning. The coming elections will make it nearly impossible for a white man to win because of demographics.

    What I see around here, NE Missouri, 22 miles south of Iowa border, is that the richer housing around the college (Truman State) almost always has Obama signs. But the people farther out, poorer, are the only places you find Romney signs. The only Akin sign I’ve seen is on the lawn of a small house owned by a couple that came here from Eastern Europe (and the woman does alterations and bakes bread, just like in a Russian novel).

He has expressed his belief in existing political institutions. He believes you can work within an existing political culture (in the USA) to win victories for white folks.     The truth. Powerful Government unions, especially teachers have a voracious appetite for tax monies. In Wisconsin they vote in lockstep. However, many of those gals have more sympathy for negroes than they do for common working class men and women.
