Really, we needed immediate public condemnation from the League. And before that we needed to eliminate violent rhetoric and put forth a normal, professional image in all things. Violent talk does not advance our cause and scares off normal people. We are not trying to win over the handful of foul-mouthed nuts on some NS website. Violent rhetoric might impress them but it doesn’t the masses of normal people. We need to build a real world presence in our communities, which means we need a professional structure which responds to almost any and everything. All this can be done quickly. The Swedish Democrats (a Right-wing, anti-immigration party) did it in just a few years. Recent polls put their popularity at 20% now whereas they were nothing a few years ago. They did it in an environment even more PC than ours. We have to decide as a movement that we are ready to get serious about winning over a sizable part of the public and gaining power. If this event happened the way it’s being portrayed, I wouldn’t necessarily call Roof a coward, which is one of the reasons I don’t believe the mainstream narrative. A young man who wanted revenge and was willing to die to get it wouldn’t waste his life on a bunch of church fuddyduddies.
