The big news of the day is that Ben Shapiro and Michelle Fields are out at Breitbart:

“Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields and editor-at-large Ben Shapiro are resigning from the company over the site’s handling of Donald Trump’s campaign manager’s alleged assault on Fields, BuzzFeed News has learned.

Fields and Shapiro informed Breitbart News chair Steve Bannon of their decision Sunday night.

“Today I informed the management at Breitbart News of my immediate resignation,” Fields said in a statement sent to BuzzFeed News. “I do not believe Breitbart News has adequately stood by me during the events of the past week and because of that I believe it is now best for us to part ways.” …”

Two more staffers have since followed Shapiro and Fields: Jordan Schachtel and Jarrett Stepman.

“Stepman said in his statement: “Breitbart News has always been open about being a grassroots, conservative publication, but in my opinion we are working with or perhaps even taking direction from a presidential campaign, which is unacceptable journalistic behavior. I believe Breitbart News is becoming less of a news site and more of a propaganda organization dedicated to the Trump campaign.” He added, “Breitbart News has also now openly embraced the ‘Nationalist/Populist’ viewpoint, which is in direct opposition to limited-government conservatism that channels the philosophy of the Founding Fathers. It is becoming impossible for conservatives like myself to continue working for the organization, which now relentlessly pushes a perspective directly at odds with my fundamental beliefs.”

Jordan Schachtel has since removed this tweet from last fall:

“With my German-Jewish heritage, I will always remain a proponent for robust immigration.”

      • I happened to have had family friends growing up who were jewish and were nice people, democrats of course, but do remember their synagogues spook them with dread and danger since childhood.           • Things are moving very fast now, this may well be a long hot summer with anti Trump riots merging in with the BLM riots to follow with a convention that may eclipse 1968. Whether things will again quiet down in 2017 remains to be seen. The Trump thing has woken up and radicalized about a 1/3rd of whites who now don’t seem to care what the media says, they know they are being lied to.             It gets back to the failure of Conservatism, Inc., to challenge the Left on any substantive issue. Instead, they conserve what the Left pushed through 20 years ago.

Her having filed a criminal complaint about what seems as if it would be civil battery, if that, seems additional evidence of cluelessness on her part.”

    • Fields knowingly filed a false police report where she claimed that “teeth” were used in the incident. The video clearly disproved that. She should be arrested and charged.

I’ll post this again here in case you haven’t been following yet another so called “hate crime” at Northwestern University in Evanston last weekend where two punks spray painted penises, swastikas, the N word, faggot, X-ed out muslim students pictures, and to cap it off wrote “Trump” as their signature. Security footage led to the arrest of two Freshmen: Matthew Kafker and Anthony Morales. The left of course is going nuts saying this shows how dangerous Trump and his supporters are. I on the other hand was immediately suspicious of the hispanic surname of one of the defendants, why on earth would a hispanic be so pro Trump? Secondly the other has the very Jewish sounding name Kafker and it is very possible Morales is also Jewish as many Sephardic Jews do in fact have Spanish surnames.     Exactly how have Bush, Rubio, Cruz, McCain, et alia limited government? Have they restored states’ rights? Rolled back violations of the Bill of Rights (like campus speech codes or asset forfeiture)? Have they faithfully executed the law insofar as immigration is concerned? Or bothered to get Congress to declare war before they send in the armed forces? How about balancing the budget or abolishing the Department of Education? Are they even going to defend, say, Jefferson or Washington against those who would decry the Founding Fathers as slave holders?

    Since the 1980s Conservatism, Inc., has claimed that the next Republican candidate would bring about the promised land of limited government. They have failed and failed miserably. They’ve also failed to attack the Left for its growth of government and endless violations of Americans’ rights.

    Are Conservatives, Inc., living in a dreamland? Or are they just another branch of the fraud branded “American Politics?”

  24. in hindsight this article looks off base. Milo was there at least in 2015. Shapiro has ideological flaws, but he’s not detestable like Milo. Him leaving wasn’t at all an opening for single Jewish cause types.
