Neocon Smackdown: Elliot Abrams REJECTED By President Trump

This is a relief.

There had been talk that Elliot Abrams was going to be “Trump’s neocon.” In the end, Rex Tillerson wanted him to be Deputy Secretary of State, but President Trump wisely overruled him:

“Mr. Trump overruled his newly minted secretary of state, Rex W. Tillerson, and rejected the secretary’s choice for his deputy at the department, two people briefed on the decision said Friday.

The deputy’s job was denied for Elliott Abrams, a conservative who had served under President Ronald Reagan and President George W. Bush, deals a blow to Mr. Tillerson in his first week on the job. The rejection of Mr. Abrams leaves Mr. Tillerson without a sherpa to help guide the first-time government official around the State Department headquarters …

But after it took place, Mr. Trump learned of Mr. Abrams’s pointed criticisms of the president when he was running for president, the administration official said. Among those criticisms was a column headlined “When You Can’t Stand Your Candidate,” which appeared in May 2016 in The Weekly Standard.

Mr. Trump has been increasingly focused on who was with him or against him during his campaign, according to several people who have spoken with him in recent days. …”

We don’t want neocons anywhere near the State Department.

Virtually every single one of the neocons publicly trashed President Trump during the campaign. The only exceptions that come to mind are Gentiles like Dick Cheney and John Bolton. There was a noticeable divide between the Gentile and Jewish neocons on the Trump Question. Hopefully, the neocons are now blacklisted and this albatross will become the Democratic Party’s problem.

    • Dismayingly cucky move by Tillerson. The very last thing the State Department needs is another mendacious Israel-first judeocon.

Trump once again confounded the naysayers by blocking him. He’ll need much more of that, because these people are nothing if not relentless.

  1. “We don’t want neocons anywhere near the State Department.”

Or any of the other antiques that belong in a Cold War museum.

Somebody remind these characters that it’s 2017, not 1917. That war, and the others they’re still fighting, ended a long time ago.

  2. This is great news. None of the foreign policy leaders in the Bush Administration (Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld) were Jewish neocons. The problem was that they allowed Jewish Neocons like Abrams, Scooter Libby, Paul Wolfowitz, and Richard Perle to have key advisory roles where they shaped and influenced policy.

Bannon and the noble Jew Stephen Miller have effectively cut off the neocons before they can work their dirty tricks like they did in Reagan and Bush Administrations. Also a good takeaway from this is that Kushner has been marginalized, he lobbied for Abrams and it didn’t happen.

      • Miller grew up in California and saw his birthplace transformed into a third world, one party state through mass immigration.

Miller also worked with Richard Spencer at Duke.

Given the current political climate, Presidential advisors like Miller and Bannon are as good as were going to get.

  3. Well done Donald Trump. Considering the nature of neocon advice, this decision probably saved many American lives, a lot of money, and the lives of a lot of foreigners.

  4. Funny how those YIDS always try to worm their way into power, they won’t take “NO” for an answer.

  5. Is Elliot Abrams really jewish, or is he just passing? He has to be the least jewish-looking jewish guy ever. He looks like he could be Strom Thurmond’s long-lost brother.

    • Agata Kornhauser Duda, Poland’s first lady, definitely did not inherit those “specific” looks, but she has the “genius” ethnic background all the same.

  6. Trump is having fun toying with the neocon enemies. First he amused himself through a public humiliation of Mitt Romney, puppet of neocohens. Now it is the turn of Abrams.
