Now watching:
1975 was the year ‘Taxi Driver’ with Robert De Niro, Jodie Foster and the spectacularly beautiful Cybill Shepherd was filmed with the movie being released in theaters in Feb., 1976. NYC was a shithole then and the movie did a good job of capturing the atmosphere of decay at that time. Looks like it will be an even worse shithole when Mayor de Blasio is done with it.
Funny you should mention that. I was just about to post this …
How can (((LBJ’s))) Great Society not be considered the birth of Neo-Liberalism?
The real birth of neoliberalism was when Nixon floated the currency in 1971.
Neoconservatism was surging among NYC jews in that era as well.
It should surprise no one on this forum that degeneracy and the free market go hand in-hand together.
