Bill Gates On Coronavirus

This interview is the first time that I have listened to anything Bill Gates has said about the coronavirus. I admit I am sharing it here mainly to troll the truthers and conspiracy theorists.

Bill Gates has a website where he has shared his take on the virus:

“The coronavirus pandemic pits all of humanity against the virus. The damage to health, wealth, and well-being has already been enormous. This is like a world war, except in this case, we’re all on the same side. Everyone can work together to learn about the disease and develop tools to fight it. I see global innovation as the key to limiting the damage. This includes innovations in testing, treatments, vaccines, and policies to limit the spread while minimizing the damage to economies and well-being.

This memo shares my view of the situation and how we can accelerate these innovations. (Because this post is long, it is also available as a PDF.) The situation changes every day, there is a lot of information available—much of it contradictory—and it can be hard to make sense of all the proposals and ideas you may hear about. It can also sound like we have all the scientific advances needed to re-open the economy, but in fact we do not. Although some of what’s below gets fairly technical, I hope it helps people make sense of what is happening, understand the innovations we still need, and make informed decisions about dealing with the pandemic. …”

I think he is wrong in assuming we are all on the side in this.

There are conspiracy theorists, truthers and libertarians who support Donald Trump who believe the real enemy is a potential vaccine, not the virus, which they are convinced is a HOAX.

Andrew Anglin, for example, fled to the Philippines to live in the jungle because he was convinced that the Reptilians and the New World Order were conspiring to put a microchip in his brain.

UPDATE: I see Anglin still believes this. He has written a new article about it for his fellow lunatics.

  1. Trolling your readers?

Yes, you have lost all credibility. Too bad. You were thought of highly in the past.

    • Yes, there are people in the comments who also believe in the flat earth conspiracy. I allow all sorts of people to share their thoughts in the comments. It doesn’t mean that I necessarily agree with or endorse their opinions. It just means that I don’t really care that people have different points of view and have a high tolerance for disagreement.

      • To my knowledge no one has been able to successfully refute the flat earth argument, HW.

I hope no one here is going to believe anything Gates, his ugly husband or the jew-owned corporate mass media have to say?

        • Ahhh yes, the good ole’ Heliocentric model of the universe, brought to us by our moral and honest friends in the Vatican.
As far as i can tell, not one single person can refute the flaw of NASA’s adopted “curvature formula” for our earth (7.98 per mile squared).

In actuality this is not NASA’s equation. It’s not the equation of curvature, but an approximation of curvature drop. These are different things. The curvature drop approximation isn’t 7.98 inch per mile, but 7.98 per mile squared.

The curvature of a circle is 1/r, by definition. The curvature of earth is approximately 1/6371000 = 1.57·10-7 m-1

The curvature drop for a circle is the distance between a tangent-line and a point on the surface farther away.
There are multiple ways you can describe this, see Walter Bislin’s site for details.
          The one usually used is what’s called x there : x = r·(1 – cos (s/r)).
A useful approximation comes from the fact that cos(a) ~ 1-a²/2. This leads to x = s²/2r. In imperial units, this gives 7.98 inch per miles². Using 8 is actually a bit better, as that parabola underestimates the drop a little.
To me, what this proves ,is that what we have been told from the beginning from NASA has been inherently & completely false

Yet the vast majority of people (even jew-wise people) will never question these “unquestionable subjects” about our world that we are told are absolute truths backed by the almighty science minds of academia.

Decades and decades of this deception which our tax dollars fund.
It is obvious that the moon landing video is a hoax.
It is blatant that our government is dishonest and evil.
          What makes NASA any different..?
Its just amazing that anyone could actually truly believe that government ,science and religion are not all intertwined in this kosher ball of propaganda that pushes a very anti-human narrative.

        • Spahn – I took a day off of this site to do other things. The Official Gubmint Fear Porn narrative has grown very tedious. I’ve been pretty much stuck inside for months. I was deathly ill in Jan into Feb. And then – weather.

The Sun was out for ONCE yesterday. So I went outside. So did the entire neighborhood. Every one was outside. Oh – we were semi cautious. People were walking or riding their bikes or playing. I few people were wearing masks, but they were the distinct minority. FYI – wearing those nasty masks DECREASES immunity. I truly feel for all the workers who are being HURT by the evil masks. The next door neighbor got a new puppy, and the puppy was jumping all over me. I picked the dear doggy up, and then put her down. She tried to get me to pick her up again, and tried to follow me home. Puppies are wriggling bundles of pure happiness at being alive! The neighbor had to grab the sweet puppy away from my ankles, and we nearly collided. The neighbor, the puppy, and myself. The social distancing collapsed due to the chaos of Insane Excited Puppy Joy!

FYI – when I say “next door neighbor – I mean a block away. Everything in my Hood is very spread out. And White .I got a lot of walking in, which felt great! A lady in her 80’s, “up the street” – who is still working by the way, because of financial parasitism via Vampyre ZOG, – has been very unimpressed by the whole CoronaPorn evil. Her attitude is, “If I get it – I get it. Hmmpf!”. Shehas lots of children and grandkids – and she sees how THEY are suffering with ZOG’S deliberate financial collapse – and she cars about THEM.

I checked back in to see it the endless programming on this site was ongoing – as the Corona Scam collapses – and it is. Tragic. But your comments are always worth it! So are half of the others.

      • ” I allow all sorts of people to share their thoughts in the comments. It doesn’t mean that I necessarily agree with or endorse their opinions. It just means that I don’t really care that people have different points of view and have a high tolerance for disagreement.”

And, Brad, that is what makes you a free and fair thinker as well as an admirable advocate for our people.

As for Gates, when will he return to “normal.” His lack of masculinity explains the insidious methods he uses to attain his evil goals for mankind. His disarming appearance puts real humans at ease. He the epitome of a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

As for the chipping of humans, in our world anything is possible.

      • “..there are people in the comments who also believe in the flat earth conspiracy. ”
        Cute, Brad. real Cute.

But Truth [John 17:17] is not a ‘conspiracy’- and you’re HIDING behind a scientific FALSEHOOD does not automatically make you the equal of Neil deGrasse Tyson, Bill Gates, or even False Fauci.

You’re still nothing but a ‘good ol’ hick boy’ from effing Alabama, for crying out loud!
You have been asked to do the RESEARCH on the COVID issue, and you do NOTHING.
You have been shown numerous videos on things such as F.E., and you set up a POLL? As if that absolves you and your family from believing the Word of God?

DO YOUR HOMEWORK, son. If you were in one of my classes, you would have been flunked out, back during midterms! Your pomposity and adherence to LYING sources, belies the honest investigation you did years ago, when you were first starting out. Who have you become? Would your late father-in-law even recognize you?

Just take a look at this, and then TALK ABOUT IT, honestly, instead of dismissing it, like some Protestant Fundie, who says he ‘takes the Bible literally…’ but then waffles all over creation, when I point out, ‘What about Lk. 22:19, and I Cor. 11:24? Is is TRULY the BODY of Christ, or no? Are you going to take the bible literally, or not?’

      • Oh great, let’s promote Gill Bates, the pervert linked to Jeffrey Epstein who’s all about sterilizing people with his vaccines on the back of the Global Warming Hoax. This site is rapidly losing its credibility. When every article is about the nothing burger with a 0.0077% death rate, alarmist, panic, and promoting pederast Gill Bates, you can cash me out.

      • What the hell happened to this comment section. I for one still believe this is a concerted effort to cause disharmony. There is no way any self respecting person educated enough to understand the basics of political and social philosophy could be pushing everything from flat earth to just the flu bro

    • When you don’t have Jesus you don’t have wisdom. ( Though you may have knowledge. ) When you don’t have wisdom, all you do will be empty. This blog is empty. The McSpenser Show is empty. Both have huge potential but CHOOSE emptiness.

This site will have egg on it’s face when everything comes out in the wash.

As far as Gates .. GOOD FRIGGIN GRIEF MAN !!!!! Gates is a front man for the illuminati … in other words Satanists !!!! He’s a piece of “S.” Even Alex Jones knows that. But then … Alex has Jesus. Certain zeros on this site have allowed Satan inside them … and their hate for ANY AND ALL JEWS NOT JUST THE BAD ONES, has actually extended to hating Jesus and the bible because waaayyy back when, God chose to reveal His plan through the nation of Israel … and golly Pa … ANYTHING Israel / Jew MUST be bad. Yep yep yep. Uck huh huh. There are folks out there with IQ’s under 75 that are WISER than that. They’re going to Utopia, ( Heaven, ) FOREVER. There’ll be lots of “smart” people in Hell. LOTS. FOREVER.

This site has become a hate Trump hate Jesus hate bible pro sit this election out or vote dem, solutionless troll fest.

I would advise deleting it … and starting all fresh and new with a mission to re-boot the south. Otherwise there’s no point here. No value. No reason to visit except to be trolled.

      Bye bye ….

      • Bill Gates’ satanism is out in the open

What perhaps is the core of something ‘satanic’, is the desire to impose horrible pain upon others

In one of the most famous satanic-themed films, ‘Hellbound: Hellraiser II’ of 1988, the iconic quote from a demonic torturing figure is:

        “Your suffering will be legendary!”

In Bill Gates’ personal writing on the covid-19 coronavirus ‘crisis’, he shows the same ice-cold and demonic, psychopathic demeanor, in telling the world how it will suffer under the coronavirus regimes

Gates writes with a horrifically confident arrogance that the forces with whom he rides, are unquestionably dominating the world

        Bill Gates concludes chillingly:

“The COVID-19 pandemic – the first modern pandemic – will define this era. No one who lives through ‘Pandemic I’ will ever forget it.

“And it is impossible to overstate the pain that people are feeling now and will continue to feel for years to come.”

[I.e., “Your suffering will be legendary!”]

Bill Gates signalled his satanism as well, by sponsoring notorious satanic-themed artist Marina Abramovic in commercial Microsoft advertising

  2. Gates can’t be all bad if he has drown the ire of tens of millions of mouthbreathing MAGApedes who still have a childlike devotion to the Orange Race Traitor.

    • Another idiotic false equivalency. Vaccine skepticism = Trump-loving Qtard. Are you aiming for a pat on the head from the editor of this site, or are you just that stupid?

    • Hey troll c d. Who SHOULD we vote for ? WHAT should we be ACTUALLY DOING to save our country ? You know … what’s our civic duty ? If I had to guess I’d say you’re an OTW, ( other than white, ) and under 30. You’ve never ran a business or even tried to start one. You’re most likely a punk paid troll with an IQ under 100 that lives with mommy.

The good news is … you represent the majority on this site.

Valueless pointless agendaless, ( because you’re a brainwashed brain dead dweeb trolling someone elses agenda. )

Line up and give them you guns, ( of which you have none, ) and get your forced vaccine flunky.

  3. Quite a sweater. I had never seen that color before, or read descriptions of it, and I have read the collected works of H.P. Lovecraft.

  4. One good thing is that the daily percentage growth in terms of deaths seems to be shrinking. I wish the dissident right was really upping the meme production though when it comes to portraying globalism and open borders as deadly bringers of the plague, or the opposite where nationalism saves lives.

    • “One good thing is that the daily percentage growth in terms of deaths seems to be shrinking. ”

Yes, but at a tremendous economic cost.
What happens when we return to normal?

  5. I don’t support forced vaccination. I support forced volunteering in hospital wards during pandemics for flutruthers. They can wash dishes, wash bed sheets and gowns, mop up vomit and pink lung gunk, until they drop.

    • Old people will happily take a vaccine if one is cooked up for Covid19. What 80 year old would say no?

    • “I support forced volunteering in hospital wards during pandemics for flutruthers. They can wash dishes, wash bed sheets and gowns, mop up vomit and pink lung gunk, until they drop.”

Agreed! I volunteer Denise and Ramzpaul for first shift.

      • (((Joseph))) -I detest the Jew Ramsey – but trying to force me into slavery would be a very bad idea. Unless I was supposed to care for you. Up close and personal. I’ll work the overnight shift.

    • There is no such thing as “forced volunteering”. The word that accurately describes what you are suggesting is “slavery”. This won’t go well.

What are you DOING to yourself?

      • (((Neira))) :

If I volunteer to work in a hospital will you put me in tiktok dance videos and turn me into a famous sTaR? You sound like a jooish hollywood director, make me a sTaR! I want to be a sTaR of tiktok cohenvirus medical hip-hop dance videos!

  6. No vaccine against the original SARS has been successful after 15 years of research, and it is possible that no full immunity against the much more infectious new SARS exists, because it seems to attack T cells like AIDS so that antibodies that should provide immunity are used by SARS 2 to attach to the T-cells.

  7. “WHO head Dr Tedros worked for years with the Gates Foundation, a major funder of the WHO itself, as also the 2 main USA Covid policy leaders –

Dr Anthony Fauci, pushing for vaccines & lockdowns, tries to denounce therapies aside from Gates vaccines, many projects with Gates since 2010, when Fauci joined ‘Decade of Vaccines’ Leadership Collaboration, with WHO & Gates Foundation

US top health diplomat Dr Deborah Birx, closely advising US Vice President Mike Pence, “sits on the Board of The Global Fund – The Gates Foundation has contributed US$2.24 billion to the Global Fund to date, & pledged US$760 million for 2020-2022″

Fauci & Gates, threaten the public that businesses may not re-open, until & unless governments purchase their conveniently patented, big-pharma vaccination.”

“Robert F Kennedy Jr. Exposes Bill Gates’ Vaccine Dictatorship Plan – Cites Gates’ Twisted ‘Messiah Complex’

“Vaccines, for Bill Gates, are a strategic ‘philanthropy’ that feed his many vaccine-related businesses (including Microsoft’s ambition to control a global vac ID enterprise) and give him dictatorial control over global health policy—the spear tip of corporate neo-imperialism.

Gates’ obsession with vaccines seems fueled by a messianic conviction that he is ordained to save the world with technology and a god-like willingness to experiment with the lives of lesser humans.

Promising to eradicate Polio with $1.2 billion, Gates took control of India ‘s National Advisory Board (NAB) and mandated 50 polio vaccines (up from 5) to every child before age 5. Indian doctors blame the Gates campaign for a devastating vaccine-strain polio epidemic that paralyzed 496,000 children between 2000 and 2017.

In 2017, the World Health Organization reluctantly admitted that the global polio explosion is predominantly vaccine strain, meaning it is coming from Gates’ Vaccine Program. The most frightening epidemics in Congo, the Philippines, and Afghanistan are all linked to Gates’ vaccines. By 2018, ¾ of global polio cases were from Gates’ vaccines.

In 2014, the GatesFoundation funded tests of experimental HPV vaccines, developed by GSK and Merck, on 23,000 young girls in remote Indian provinces. Approximately 1,200 suffered severe side effects, including autoimmune and fertility disorders. Seven died.

In 2010, the Gates Foundation funded a trial of a GSK’s experimental malaria vaccine, killing 151 African infants and causing serious adverse effects including paralysis, seizure, and febrile convulsions to 1,048 of the 5,049 children.

During Gates 2002 MenAfriVac Campaign in Sub-Saharan Africa, Gates operatives forcibly vaccinated thousands of African children against meningitis. Between 50-500 children developed paralysis. South African newspapers complained, “We are guinea pigs for drug makers”

Nelson Mandela’s former Senior Economist, Professor Patrick Bond, describes Gates’ philantropic practices as “ruthless” and “immoral”.

In 2014, Kenya’s Catholic Doctors Association accused the WHO of chemically sterilizing millions of unwilling Kenyan women with a phony “tetanus” vaccine campaign.

Independent labs found the sterility formula in every vaccine tested.

After denying the charges, WHO finally admitted it had been developing the sterility vaccines for over a decade.

A 2017 study (Morgensen et.Al.2017) showed that WHO’s popular DTP is killing more African than the disease it pretends to prevent. Vaccinated girls suffered 10x the death rate of unvaccinated children.

Gates and the WHO refused to recall the lethal vaccine which WHO forces upon millions of African children annually.”

    • Vaccine ???
They act like miracle drugs can be turned out like cars, off an assembly line.
The miracle of the smallpox vaccine came from a natural source, Cowpox.
      Other great Gate’s predictions,
No one will ever need more than 640k of memory,
The internet is of no commercial value.

      • Another Gates’ prediction: I will wear the most beautiful and manly sweater in the world and be called a fashion animal because of it. Elton John and Caitlin (Bruce) Jenner will approve and it will start a fashion trend. Hunter and the commentators on OD will wear the same type of sweater even though it’s 95 deg. F. in Alabama.

  8. One eventually begins to wonder if the “it’s just the flu, bro” people are deliberately trying to sabotage anything remotely nationalistic by associating it with this obvious dementia.

Flat earth, lizard people, hoax viruses, anti-vaxxing (that is, “anti-our-own-immune-systems”) … you have to wonder at what point stupidity ends and actual malice begins.

    • That’s what it is about. Exactly. Attach all this bullshit to nationalism so it gets kooked.

      • You mean attach Bill Gates and vaccine-peddling to nationalism, like our friend Hunter here is doing? Yes.

        • Several university labs will offer a vaccine if they can develop one at all. At that point the very vulnerable will make a cost benefit analysis on taking the jab. I find it hard to imagine that many over 65 will scoff at it.

  9. Why don’t any journalists ask this guy questions about his ties to Epstein?

Oh that’s right, because journalists are worthless pieces of shit. They all deserve to be treated like shit.

  10. Probably the most effective hi-tech innovation to mitigate the wuflu will be…..
    ….
    ……
    wear a mask.
(Look at the results in Czechia, compare to Sweden.)

  11. Some religions will not allow vaccinations. This could get interesting. Gates ought to go back to fighting electronic viruses against his hacker’s honeypot operating system.

I have had to work for Gates for decades with no pay for keeping his operating systems functioning. Where are my electronic torch and peasant’s pitchfork?

  12. Masks everywhere.

I wear my mask almost all the time now.

I wonder if they will allow us to keep our masks on when we have to get a photo IDs?

Seems like I remember a similar problem in the past.

    • Moslem women are allowed to get ID pictures taken wearing their headscarves. Sikhs get their pictures taken wearing their turbans. Both examples have been adjudicated in court in the U.S. Diversity, it will kill us all and it’s far more deadly than all the viruses in the world.

    Top 5 Misconceptions About Columbus

    1. Columbus set out to prove the world was round.

If he did, he was about 2,000 years too late. Ancient Greek mathematicians had already proven that the Earth was round, not flat. Pythagoras in the sixth century B.C.E. was one of the originators of the idea. Aristotle in the fourth century B.C.E. provided the physical evidence, such as the shadow of the Earth on the moon and the curvature of the Earth known by all sailors approaching land. And by the third century B.C.E., Eratosthenes determined the Earth’s shape and circumference using basic geometry. In the second century C.E., Claudius Ptolemy wrote the “Almagest,” the mathematical and astronomical treatise on planetary shapes and motions, describing the spherical Earth. This text was well known throughout educated Europe in Columbus’ time.

Columbus, a self-taught man, greatly underestimated the Earth’s circumference. He also thought Europe was wider than it actually was and that Japan was farther from the coast of China than it really was. For these reasons, he figured he could reach Asia by going west, a concept that most of educated Europe at the time thought was daft — not because the Earth was flat, but because Columbus’ math was so wrong. Columbus, in effect, got lucky by bumping into land that, of course, wasn’t Asia.

The Columbus flat-earth myth perhaps originated with Washington Irving’s 1828 biography of Columbus; there’s no mention of this before that. His crew wasn’t nervous about falling off the Earth.

  14. Bill gates couldn’t even prevent viruses in his software but now we trust him with our lives. You are dunning-kruger personified.

  15. “Andrew Anglin, for example, fled to the Philippines to live in the jungle because he was convinced that the Reptilians and the New World Order were conspiring to put a microchip in his brain.”

That’s one possible explanation. The other being that, like Matt Forney, he discovered the Philippines was one of the few places in the world where he could find women willing to have sex with him.

  16. Issac Newton was the first one who theorized that the Earth was not a sphere but rather an oblate spheroid. He even calculated what the difference in the circumferences were which were proved accurate in later times. I know flat earthers will think he was an instrument of the Devil but he was actually very much a believer in God though his Bible studies led him to doctrines that were considered heresy in his day.

…in 1687, he published the first edition of his Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica (later translated in 1825 as The Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy), considered today to be the single greatest work in the history of science. In it, he described universal gravitation and the three laws of motion, derived from Kepler’s Laws.

Though he was and still is renowned for his scientific pursuits, Newton was a serious student of the Bible and published several theological works. Even in his famed Principia, Newton exhibited his dedication to God.

This most beautiful system of the sun, planets, and comets, could only proceed from the counsel and dominion of an intelligent and powerful Being….This Being governs all things, not as the soul of the world, but as Lord over all; and on account of his dominion he is wont to be called Lord God “pantokrator,” or Universal Ruler….

Scientific inquiry, which then existed as Natural Philosophy, could not exist apart from “the Maker,” according to Newton. In fact, science was the perfect realm in which to discuss God.

Since every particle of space is always, and every indivisible moment of duration is every where, certainly the Maker and Lord of all things cannot be never and no where….God is the same God, always and every where. He is omnipresent not virtually only, but also substantially; for virtue cannot subsist without substance.…It is allowed by all that the Supreme God exists necessarily; and by the same necessity he exists always and every where….And thus much concerning God; to discourse of whom from the appearance of things, does certainly belong to Natural Philosophy.

Though he lived before Darwin, Newton was not unacquainted with the atheistic evolutionary theory on origins. He was convinced against it and wrote:

Blind metaphysical necessity, which is certainly the same always and every where, could produce no variety of things. All that diversity of natural things which we find suited to different times and places could arise from nothing but the ideas and will of a Being, necessarily existing.
    — “Man of Science, Man of God: Isaac Newton”, icr.org

    • Correction: “difference in circumferences” should be “difference in diameters”.

“…therefore the diameter of the earth at the equator, is to its diameter from pole to pole as 230 to 229.”

  17. Now my guy is insulting his readership and using BILL FUCKING GATES to make his case. You’re a fucking joke, dude. There is nothing else to say.

  18. Did you just use Luke O’Brien’s histrionic article about white nationalism as a reference?

    Dang.

  19. Hunter, whatever you’re doing, keep doing it. I haven’t seen the comment section this engaged on your website before. They may all be foolish haters, but you’re getting attention and that’s a good thing.

  20. For general information. Poison and vaccine are 2 different things.

    1. Vaccine protects people against certain diseases.
    2. Poison harms organism. May cause health problems, death or in current case impotency to bring world
    population down to 500 millions.

Earth is no flat or sphere. Earth is constantly changing it,s shape to fit in our current propaganda. We are in the war, not in the search of ultimate truth.

  21. It appears there has been a lot of “creativity” in determining the shape of the earth.

    Barometer question

The barometer question is an example of an incorrectly designed examination question demonstrating functional fixedness that causes a moral dilemma for the examiner. In its classic form, popularized by American test designer professor Alexander Calandra (1911–2006), the question asked the student to “show how it is possible to determine the height of a tall building with the aid of a barometer.” The examiner was confident that there was one, and only one, correct answer, which is by calculating the difference in pressure at the top and bottom of the building. Contrary to the examiner’s expectations, the student responded with a series of completely different answers. These answers were also correct, yet none of them proved the student’s competence in the specific academic field being tested.

A colleague of Calandra posed the barometer question to a student, expecting the correct answer: “the height of the building can be estimated in proportion to the difference between the barometer readings at the bottom and at the top of the building”. The student provided a different, and also correct answer: “Take the barometer to the top of the building. Attach a long rope to it, lower the barometer to the street, then bring it up, measuring the length of the rope. The length of the rope is the height of the building.”

The examiner and Calandra, who was called to advise on the case, faced a moral dilemma. According to the format of the exam, a correct answer deserved a full credit. But issuing a full credit would have violated academic standards by rewarding a student who had not demonstrated competence in the academic field that had been tested (physics). Neither of two available options (pass or fail) was morally acceptable.[

Calandra asked the student the same question, and received a wealth of different answers including dropping the barometer from the top of the building and timing its fall with a stopwatch; trading the barometer to the building’s superintendent in return for the information wanted; creating two small pendulums and measuring the variation of g from the ground to the top of the building; creating a pendulum as high as the building and measuring its period; and comparing the length of the shadows of the building and the barometer. The student admitted that he knew the expected “correct” answer, but was fed up with the professor’s “teaching him how to think … rather than teaching him the structure of the subject.”

According to Snopes.com, more recent (1999 and 1988) versions identify the problem as a question in “a physics degree exam at the University of Copenhagen” and the student was Niels Bohr, and includes the following answers:

Tying a piece of string to the barometer, lowering the barometer from the roof to the ground, and measuring the length of the string and barometer.

Dropping the barometer off the roof, measuring the time it takes to hit the ground, and calculating the building’s height assuming constant acceleration under gravity.

When the sun is shining, standing the barometer up, measuring the height of the barometer and the lengths of the shadows of both barometer and building, and finding the building’s height using similar triangles.

Tying a piece of string to the barometer, and swinging it like a pendulum both on the ground and on the roof, and from the known pendulum length and swing period, calculate the gravitational field for the two cases. Use Newton’s law of gravitation to calculate the radial altitude of both the ground and the roof. The difference will be the height of the building.

Tying a piece of string to the barometer, which is as long as the height of the building, and swinging it like a pendulum, and from the swing period, calculate the pendulum length.

Marking off the number of barometer lengths vertically along the emergency staircase, and multiplying this with the length of the barometer.

Trading the barometer for the correct information with the building’s janitor or superintendent.
