  2. Why isn’t everyone required to wear a mask ?
    So easy , so cheap , so effective !

    Some ppl act as if your asking to amputate both arms and a leg.

    • Maybe because the masks don’t work, and wearing one is a sign of submission to a corrupt state?

      One of the things that got me early on (wearing a beard, as many men in my area do) is that without ‘custom fitting’ – it renders most masks worthless; and even women with small faces often can’t find the right ‘size’… if you can find masks at all. And ‘home-made masks’? Cotton when new, with sizing, has a specific diameter between the threads. Washing them (as one should, if one is engaging in ‘safe space guidelines’) breaks down and enlarges the pore size of those holes that allow you to breathe…. thus rendering them, useless….

        They greatly reduce the transmission of the droplets carrying the viral particles.

    • And this after everyone complains about being identified and watched by security cameras everywhere they go.

      Psst — guys — you’ve got the perfect excuse now to wear stuff over your face and cut down at least somewhat on the spy camera monitoring. Great cover for putting up political posters fairly anonymously too.

      And what do we get instead? “Masks are tyranny! I want to show my face to the cameras!”

    Weren’t they supposed to be overwhelmed? We were told the peak would be April 15th. Does our government and scientific/health community actually have any idea about anything? Or should we just ask a chimp from San Diego Zoo to push random buttons? What’s the proven scientific basis for “Phased” reopenings? or were these phases just pulled out of someone’s a$$?

  6. There’s no denying the downslope now, but I’m reminded of that chart from the Spanish flu pandemic where the second slope ramped up immediately after reopening the economy. It’s early now, but I wonder if we’ll resume our upward slope by next week.

    • Might take longer than a week.
      When ppl become lax and sure it is past, that’s the time to beware.
