James Carville: “Wokeness Is a Problem and We All Know It”

Woke progressivism is an opportunity for us.

The Democrats have embraced Ibram X. Kendi and his doctrines and have gone full mask off with anti-whiteness and in doing so have severely undermined consensus antiracism. The “woke” are to the 2020s what the hippies and beatniks were to the 1960s and 1970s.

Vox:

“I called James Carville hoping to get his thoughts on President Joe Biden’s first 100 days in office.

He obliged — then, one question in, brushed aside the exercise to talk instead about why the Democrats might be poised to squander their political advantage against a damaged GOP.

His failure to cooperate may have been for the best since the first 100 days ritual can sometimes lead to dull, dutiful analysis. What Carville offered up instead was a blunt critique of his own party even after a successful 2020 election cycle — a sequel of sorts to his fulminations during last year’s Democratic primaries. The longtime Democratic strategist is mostly pleased with Biden, but it’s where much of the party seems to be going that has him worried.

“Wokeness is a problem,” he told me, “and we all know it.” According to Carville, Democrats are in power for now, but they also only narrowly defeated Donald Trump, “a world-historical buffoon,” and they lost congressional seats and failed to pick up state legislatures. The reason is simple: They’ve got a “messaging problem.”

There may be a group within the Democratic Party that likes this, but it ain’t the majority. And beyond that, if Democrats want power, they have to win in a country where 18 percent of the population controls 52 percent of the Senate seats. That’s a fact. That’s not changing. That’s what this whole damn thing is about. …”

New Orleans Times-Picayune:

“James Carville, the New Orleans-based political strategist, believes the outcome has national implications, noting that Peterson had the advantage of her side spending more money and a low turnout special election (16.6%) that typically favors candidates who seek to excite their party’s most fervent supporters.

“Voters voted against wokeness,” said Carville. “They just did. Woke did very, very poorly.” …”

ANTIRACISM IS ANTIWHITE.

Who could look at Joe Biden’s America and disagree?

That’s what some of our people have been raising awareness about on the internet for the past 20 years. Those people have been vindicated by the Joe Biden administration. If you are White, the term “antiracism” is now synonymous with learning to hate yourself and your country and civilization and your entire race and working against your own group interests to defeat other people like you.

Wokeness is essentially a religious cult that advocates “race suicide”:

“In 1902, U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt called race suicide “fundamentally infinitely more important than any other question in this country” and argued that “the man or woman who deliberately avoids marriage, and has a heart so cold as to know no passion and a brain so shallow and selfish as to dislike having children, is in effect a criminal against the race, and should be an object of contemptuous abhorrence by all healthy people.” Likewise, in 1905, he argued that a man or woman who is childless by choice “merits contempt.”

Naturally, the Rough Rider has already been cancelled.

You can imagine what someone like TR would have said about these people. There is no question that he would see the whole “trans” thing as confirmation of his worst fears about bourgeois degeneration.

  1. Sorry James, you can’t put this scary looking psychoclownshow you created back in the box.

  2. I wish TR were here and watch them try to cancel HIM. He was one tough old bastard, who survived all kinds near death events. Assassination attempt where he was shot, and kept talking. Expeditions into rainforests, boughts with disease, leading men in war, nogotiating treaty’s, hunting big game, running ranches, hunting rustlers, lost members of his family to death early, etc, etc, it would be epic to watch SJWs soyboys whither under his gaze. Whatever you think of him, no SJW would survive contact with Theodore Roosevelt

  3. Teddy Roosevelt was such a White Supremacist that he had the hulls of the US Navy painted White – aka “The Great White Fleet” – when he sent them on an around-the-world tour.

    • CD- Read it and weep….

“There has been a growing revolutionary spirit in this country for many years and the governors know it. So they need to counter it in some way. They need to manufacture an excuse to crush it, but to do that they first have to manufacture support for their planned actions. So, as with the fake McKinley assassination, they have to create an enemy. At the same time, they have to create and control your response, making sure you hate that enemy with a high passion, so that when the enemy is crushed, you will do nothing but cheer. You won’t ask any questions, and you won’t try to protect any marginal parties that are swept up in that crushing. If a few innocent parties and movements are crushed along with the fake Communists and liberals and radicals, you won’t lift a finger, since you will be so glad your country has been “saved”.”

  4. Teddy Roosevelt, Andrew Jackson.

I would give anything for a man of their caliber to rise as the Phoenix from the ruins of this failed state and lead men of courage to something better.

    • @Memebro…

      It will happen.

There are many of us, many of whom are very disatisfied.

The leadership is currently scrambling around trying to figure out how to lead us whither we wish to go.

As they progress in their understandings of what must be, a new crop of the correct men will come forward.

The leadership has been bad for at least the last quarter century because the people were drunk on CIA media disinformation.

Now that The Internet is firmly entrencht, and Mainstream Media is no longer a reliable tool for populace mind control, the politicks of people are changing.

That will have, and, indeed, is having, a telling effect on the politicians.

Just look at Senator Rubio from Florida – formerly Mr. Free Trade, now he is giving speeches about reining corporations in.

      • Agreed. Teddy was tough, but he would be 100% ZOG and wanting to go to war against Russia, China, and Iran all at once.

      • @Pilot…

After George Washington and Jefferson Davis, Andrew Jackson very definitely sounds good to me!

  5. Roosevelt would never let whats happening happen. He would have nipped it in the bud ASAP. Than again, he lived in a different time and a different country than the one we live in today. I’m sure he would have tried though.

    • @Powell…

You’re in luck – it started in 2015, and you’re right smack dab in the middle of it – headed for the big kaboom!

  6. He had major faults for sure (war-lover, White Man’s Burdener), but he was brilliant and had the energy of a nuclear power plant. Vastly superior to any of the pale empty suits pretending to be “leaders” in the “West” today.

  7. I can’t think of anyone less relevant to the current day than James Carville. No Democrat gives a single shit about what he says.
