John Avlon Explores Alabama’s Rigged Redistricting System

So, Alabama is going from 6/7 House seats controlled by Republicans to 6/7 House seats controlled by Republicans. Basically, nothing is changing with a black majority seat in West Alabama based on Selma and Birmingham. Meanwhile in New York, aggressive gerrymandering is cutting the number of Republican held seats in half from 8 to 4.
