I had the same realization yesterday. As a White male, have I unintentionally offended any BIPOC people by using the yellow thumbs up emoji? I wasn’t aware that there was a racial etiquette now to using emojis or that there were custom emojis for BIPOC people that match their skin color.
Note: I’m going to check my Android to see if it has the white power thumbs up emoji.
