    China has direct democracy on the local level and socialist meritocracy further up, and Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua and unoccupied independent Korea (DPRK) are also examples of democratic republics, all of them struggling to survive under relentless attack by the Empire of Money. Even Russia that is thoroughly infected with capitalism and under attack by the Empire has more democracy in it than the U.S. (Empire) where two twin parties perform the pre-determined (s)elections.

    Going off-topic now: Mainstream media is almost completely ignoring the pandemic now, although a new variant has appeared that is even more transmissible (40 to 50% more) than Omicron, and more lethal (it spreads deep into the lungs more easily) than Omicron, and it re-infects people who have already been infected and become immune to Omicron and all other previous variants. Current vaccines which do not protect very well against Omicron have no effect on this new variant. Yet for political reasons, this new variant is not even being given a new letter of the Greek alphabet like other distinctly different variants – because the war is on now, and the pandemic is supposed to forgotten – even though it continues to kill about 1,500 per day in the U.S.

    People are being infected with Omicron who had become immune to earlier variants, so the pandemic is still raging. Daily deaths from Omicron have only leveled off, not decreased in the U.S., and they may increase when this un-lettered new variant begins to infect the population.

    So the Evil Empire protects the disease (like it protects big business) and spreads it around the world, while China’s “Zero Covid” socialist health policy protects the Chinese people FROM the disease, But China will not, cannot, save you. China is concerned about China. Socialism in one country. It can only do so much.

  6. In the Russian field manuals found by the Ukrainian side it clearly states that “The Russian federation is at war with the new world order” basically saying “Strike for Christ”

    I don´t say Putin know it or that the Russians even understand it but i think Russia was chosen by God to be the avenger and that this is the last and final battle against the evil of this world

    To me atleast it is it is clear that there is a greater force at work here that have taken our destiny and the outcome of this completely out of our hands

  7. Back in 2016, some other Occidental Dissent commenters and I discussed the restoration—the re-creation, I should say—of Moscow’s Cathedral of Christ the Saviour. That was the site of the activity for which Tolokonnikova and other members of Pussy Riot were arrested, back in 2012. It’s amazing to me that that cathedral came back from the dead, so to speak, in the wake of the collapse of the USSR.
