America First Holdouts Don’t Follow GOP In Backing Ukraine

Count me out.

It hasn’t even been a year since the catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan.

We were stuck in Afghanistan for twenty years because of a blind rush to punish evil doers which later evolved through mission creep into a project of nation building, democracy crusading and protecting women’s rights from the Taliban. Even in Afghanistan though, a far flung part of Eurasia where we had no business being and got involved to bloody the nose of the Soviets, the people who plunged us into that war at least had the excuse that we had been attacked and Osama bin Laden was hiding out there. We were still wrestling with the consequences of that decision made by George W. Bush until last summer and what started there in 2001 hasn’t ended by any means with the Taliban back in control.

Now, many of the same irresponsible and incompetent people in Congress who guided us through all of their previous disasters in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Syria have meddled in Ukraine to the point where we on the verge of getting sucked into World War III with Russia. They are currently shrieking about how Putin is an evil dictator in order to distract attention from the fact that their policies have backfired and brought us to this dangerous point. These people have no clue where they are leading us.

NBC Narratives:

“They are a distinct minority in their own party and, for that matter, their country: Republican holdouts amid an ever-widening consensus that Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine poses a mortal threat to American interests.

A far right wing of the Republican Party tightly bound to former President Donald Trump is fighting to push the GOP toward the “America First” isolationism that underpinned his 2016 presidential bid. …”

How does this end?

What is the opportunity cost of all this meddling in Ukraine?

If we brought Ukraine into NATO, would that enhance our own security?

Have we helped Ukrainians by turning their country into a war zone?

How much economic damage is this going to do the American middle class and working class?

Can we even get out of this without spiraling into a war with Russia?

“I may be Irish but I am not stupid .” Sure Mick what ever you say.

  2. The Peter Principle in action for the most worthless legislative body in human history.
Too stupid to know that they got deleted by the historic pen and phone.
After the Kwan is turned into a 3000 mile glow in the dark charcoal birdbath and the remnants crawl out with the roaches there will be a monument to congress stating that here stood the largest brothel ever.

The Paddy O’ Furniture one always gets old.
Fine malt lyrics with corned beef and cabbage!

What amazes me—and I suppose I shouldn’t be amazed at this point—is that it is impossible to hear three simple sentences like that, sentences that sum up this historical moment, on any of the major news broadcasts. Well—I don’t have cable or satellite TV; but from what I’ve seen on YouTube, that’s my impression. Such sentences would be considered beyond the pale. Anybody who’d try to utter them would be shouted down halfway through the first sentence.

I guess this is what it’s like in an insane asylum.

    1. It has distracted from numerous important domestic issues. The regime and its gaslight media have not let the opportunity go to waste.

    2. No. We put the Ukrainians under a Jew-run puppet regime which endlessly promotes Globopedo in Ukraine.

    3. Potentially huge damage to middle and working class. Jewligarchs benefit of course, along with their PMC shabbas-goys.

    4. Only if we stay the hell out and stop interfering. BTW, read today that US Special Ops in Country 404 prepping battlefield for Azov and what’s left of Ukie army. Fighting for Globopedo as always. Think we should thank them for their service?

Wokeunduh is an illegitimate, treasonous government. It’s utterly evil. Burn the bitch down. I am in favor of whatever destroys it and all who support it the most thoroughly.

  6. ” in order to distract attention from the fact ”

That’s 90% of the media’s content, distraction for deceit.

  7. ‘Isolationist’ ………..seems like a derogatory label for what should be a reasonable, logical position.
Unless our nation is attacked domestically, we should always strive to be neutral.

  8. How does this end?

    In a Russian victory.

They’re already quietly backing away from this, as economic and political collapse starts to loom in the near distance.

This is the Empire’s last throw. Biden may be the last, or next to last president.

Every supposed enemy of the English Speaking Union, from the Kaiser on, has been insane and dying of a terminal illness. Vladimir Putin is no exception. But this time, it will be his enemies who will be the ones deposed and exiled. Not him.

  9. The rest of the world is turning against the English Speaking Union and the Washington/London would-be one World government. They’re talking about a “new New World Order,” now. A multipolar one.

  10. Re ‘Can we even get out of this’ … Yes, if Western governments wished to do so

Everyone knows the ‘deal’ that would work … Ukraine promises to be non-Nato & neutral, & stop attacking the separatist regions, West drops the sanctions … and Russia would instantly pull back to the separatist areas of Russian ethnics. Conflict ends.

But the West wants the war, even ‘needs’ the war to mask financial implosion … and how things like the Western-supplied Saudi war on Yemen, is much worse than the Ukraine carnage

Plus the Klaus Schwab & Davos WEF ‘Great Reset’ team, can barely conceal its pleasure, regarding how the Ukraine war no less than covid, is an ‘opportunity’ for their agenda

  11. Regarding the scumbags in Congress, especially the hideous Republicans: “They have learned nothing and forgotten nothing.”

  12. No there is no way out from this! WW3 have started and truth is it started a long time ago

The hot phase is yet to come and i hope future people on this continent remember and finaly realize that wars are easy to get into and difficult to get out of

Also that a bully no matter how strong will sooner or later be taken down

  13. I’m totally convinced that many Murricans are so brain dead that they think thermonuclear war wouldn’t be such a big deal.

  14. One thing we may be thankful for is that Old Joe isn’t so far gone that he would give the go ahead for Nuland and his nutty democrat neocons to directly confront Russia with the US military and Nato. Joe is a crook who want money and will lie like a rug, but it appears WW3 is a bridge too far. Makes you wonder exactly what would happen if that idiot Kamala was in office?

Assuming that they didn’t purposely WANT this war to happen as you have to when broaching the subject to the average person on a diet of fox news or the main leftist outlets. This regime handled all the signs and threats coming from Russia about Nato advancement into Russia’s underbelly via a proxy CIA run Ukraine puppet government. This is the exact same blindness the left loves hanging around the anti communist General MacArthur’s neck when he blew off all the Chinese warnings they would enter the Korean War if he kept pushing right up to their border. Of course they kept their word and caught MacArthur with his pants down and pushed the Allies halfway back to Pusan and the ensuing tough fight resulted in the majority of the casualties in the war.

So at a minimum this regime played the situation out very badly as a war is exactly what the tottering post covidian mismanaged economy didn’t need. Every football these people are handed gets fumbled.

  15. There were no muslim hijackers and no civilian airliners. Just ask the FBI and FAA. Not one single identifiable aircraft part was recovered from any of the four crash sites on 9/11. Half of the alleged hijackers were found living abroad with no knowledge that they were 9/11 hijackers.

  16. The logic of the U.sury S.ystem doesn’t allow it to limit or isolate itself like ethno-national socialism in one country. It MUST keep expanding to increase profit, destroy all competition, monopolize and exploit the entire world. Isolationism, if it happens at all, is a mere temporary adjustment, a slight momentary dip on the overall ascending line of the drive toward total, global monopoly. Imperialism will take a strategic step backward or pause only when it makes a serious mistake or if it is absolutely forced to. The refuge of populist isolationism “just over the hill” is a mirage. Over the hill is just more imperialism.

Thee is only one cure for the disease, and the handful of isolationist Republicans – and the rest of the Republicans and Democrats – would never accept it.
