Axios: Senate Passes $40 Billion Aid Package For Ukraine

The Senate voted to spit in our face this afternoon.

Axios:

“The Senate voted 86-11 to pass a nearly $40 billion military and humanitarian aid package for Ukraine on Thursday and the bill now goes to President Biden to be signed into law. …

The 11 Republicans who voted “no” on the bill were Marsha Blackburn (Tenn.), John Boozman (Ark.), Mike Braun (Ind.), Mike Crapo (Idaho), Bill Hagerty (Tenn.),  Josh Hawley (Mo.), Mike Lee (Utah), Cynthia Lummis (Wyo.), Roger Marshall (Kan.), Rand Paul (Ky.) and Tommy Tuberville (Ala.). …”

We’re not completely marginalized though.

Rand Paul held this up and found 10 other Republican senators to vote against it.

Every single Democrat in the Senate including Bernie Sanders voted to spend $40 billion dollars to finance the war in Ukraine.

Every single Democrat in the House also voted for it. 100% of Democrats in Congress support the proxy war with Russia in Ukraine. The GOP is at least divided over the issue and growing more so.

Note: Instead of whining about this, we will continue to oppose the war as it becomes more unpopular due to staggering energy prices and inflation. We should also try to elect more Republican senators and congressmen who share our views on foreign policy to increase the divide within the party.

  1. Only 10 Republidems voted against it? When it comes to foreign wars and taking care of foreign people you can always count on both parties to come together.

  2. Yes but at the same time the scumbag Republicans were working to sink a bill that would provide $48 billion in aid to various small businesses affected by Covid.

The relief bill for small businesses might be a bad bill, I don’t know but the $40 billion for Ukraine is definitely a bad bill because it works against the interests of the U.S. and escalates a local war into potentially a nuclear war. The worthless Republicans have no problem joining the lunatic Democrats when it comes time for more war, $40 billion dollars worth but domestic problems, they just drive by laughing and giving the finger to their constituents.

  3. No improvement. 69 Ho-House Repukes and 31 Repuke Incitatuses voted against the handouts in March. That was another massive “Christmas Tree” bill with over a trillion in new spending which was not so specific on amounts for 404. Once the 40 billion bill was rubber-stamped, Shitpants Joey earmarked another 100 billion for the Dickey-Piano Cash-Laundomat – probably from the March bill (10% for the big guy). Kabuki theatre, nothing more.

  4. Twitter/MSNBCRep. Massie holds a perfect 16-for-16 record opposing legislation to support Ukraine, and wants the United States to abandon NATO.

Today, nothing infuriates the Left more than heresy against the current and ever-changing secular moral canon (which always instantaneously expands to include the ‘current thing’).

    And for anyone interested:

linkSenate Republicans who voted to send 40,000,000,000 US taxpayer dollars to Ukraine: Ted Cruz, Lindsey Graham, Marco Rubio, Mitch McConnell, Tom Cotton, Tim Scott, Ben Sasse, Mitt Romney, Rick Scott

Besser gesagt: they voted to tack on another 40b to the national debt, so the American debt serfs can pay interest on it.

    • All of the international GloboHomo Shopping Mall military adventures will only stop when the financial system crashes making it impossible to conduct further wars. These geniuses are well on the way down this path. $40 billion here, $48 billion there, pretty soon you’re talking about real money.

Inflation will ultimately do what neither the worthless Republicans nor the horrible Democrats will do; put an end to military adventures by wrecking the financial system and the economy. Poor countries cannot engage in imperial adventures, they don’t have the money.

The “deficit” cannot be paid back in constant dollars. Inflation is absolutely necessary to cheapen the debt which keeps the money racket going which keeps the Empire going. Their inflation is now out of control similar to the way their viruses escape from their labs into the wild and then are out of control.

  5. Our “leadership” sold out to globalist interests a long time ago. Traitors deserve to be drawn and quartered.
