Frankly, pro-Palestinian activists, who are all over the Western world (including in my own country), are beginning to tire and bore…….at first I understood the need to support Palestine, but now they are beginning to go too far. I don’t know in your countries but in my country they continue with their protests (very often they are far-left activists), as if every state in the West has no other problems outside of Palestine. I have never seen them fight like this for my country or for other Western countries………but you know those leftists hate the countries they live in and were born in and love everything else like africa and asia. In any case, excuse the uneducated term, they have broken my balls with the Palestinian cause…….my country and the West in general have more important problems to think about.

           As all of you are aware, the US Southern border has been wide open for 3 1/2 years thanks in large part to the jew Mayorkas’s DHS which includes the US Border Patrol and US Border and Customs Enforcement, and up to 9 million illegal immigrants were allowed passage into the interior of the USA. How many of them do you estimate are muslim, and would be willing to do something ultimately useless but bloody to strike back at Americans for their government’s defense (i e., vetoing UN Security Council resolutions against Israel’s genocide) and supplying weapons, technology, and even special forces operators in enabling the slaughter of their fellow muslims.

           Anyway, the US flag being burnt by either the left or right should not bother anymore in 2024, If that flag still represents you and your political views, my condolences to your cerebrum. Saluting and/or getting chills for the US flag and Star Spangled Banner being sung is peak retard.

           The longer the conflict exists, the worse both sides appear, and the more of both populations are destroyed. This is pragmatism.

     Since I was a kid I have speculated about having an independent secret intelligence service whose only purpose was to spy and collect intelligence on Congress. Then at the end of a year, publicly publish all their collected intelligence so the press and public can see what they are doing, full transparency.

     I don’t like abortion; I cannot conceive of an incident where I would terminate a child from a consentual union. But I don’t like either side getting involved in a woman’s pregnancy, because neither side gives a damn about women.

   In terms of biblical teaching, slavery per se is not a sin. Both Paul and Peter commanded Christian slaves to obey their Christian masters. Abortion on the other hand is a sin. So why do the anti-abortion “abolitionists” want to claim the name of homicidal fanatics who made up their own definitions of sin?

17. The swing vote in this country is pro-peace / isolationist Midwesterners.

    They voted for Obama over McCain in 2008, and they voted for Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton in 2016.

    There was a 20% vote shift from Democrats to Republicans in the Midwest from 2008 to 2016. (This is a similar percentage to the “uncommitted” votes in the Democratic primaries in Minnesota, Michigan and Wisconsin this year.)

    In contrast, there was very little vote shift in the Northeast, South, or Left-Coast.

    “Christian Zionists” did not reward McCain in 2008, nor did they punish Trump in 2016. Evangelicals care about 100 different issues more than they care about foreign policy. Opposing Mideast wars, foreign aid, and sanctions wouldn’t cost Trump a single Evangelical voter – but he would gain immensely in the Midwest.

    There is a huge opportunity for either Trump or Harris to win this election by boldly embracing a decisively America First foreign policy.

    The pro-peace / isolationist attitudes of the Midwest have deep roots, going back to the Pennsylvania Quakers and German immigrants who came to America to get away from Prussian militarism. Charles Lindbergh was from the Midwest, which was the America First stronghold of the 1930s. Buchanan did notably well in the Midwest in the 1992 and 1996 primaries.

    • I basically agree that Trump and Obama both appeared to be more anti-war than their opponents and got elected for that reason. But both continued US foreign policy when in office. The best you will get with Harris is some sort of lesser evil. She won’t really roll things back the way a third party candidate would, but the third party candidate will never get elected. And that’s the best case scenario. There’s a chance she’ll be just as bad as those that came before her.

        And the lesson of 2012 and 2020 is that an establishment Democrat will beat an establishment Republican.

        In 2016 Trump ran as a radically insurgent Republican, he won, and to a certain extent he delivered on foreign policy. His election prevented a full-scale regime-change war in Syria, which Hillary Clinton was promising to wage.

        I really hope he does something similar this year. Promise to bring home the troops, end all economic sanctions, and end all military foreign aid. This would end Israel’s ability to be the aggressor.

        Peace would then be negotiated on the basis of equality – an acknowledgement that a Palestinian life has value equal to a Jewish life, and Palestinian national aspirations have value equal to Jewish national aspirations. Once the Jews concede these principles, everything else is easy. Hamas is willing to accept a two-state solution if the Palestinians receive adequate territory for a viable state, and Iran will support the Palestinian decision.

        Everything hinges on Trump boldly embracing an America First foreign policy.
        1. A Trump victory, which would have benefits for the American people in the form of immigration restriction, which would in turn lead to higher wages, lower housing costs, and lower taxes.
        2. Peace in the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
        3. Compelling Jews to accept Palestinian equality would weaken Jewish supremacy, which would in turn benefit White Americans.

          Abortion blows a big hole in christian theology. The entire theology is based on sin and redemption. That people are punished for sin and not innocent. It’s almost impossible to make a case for an aborted child having committed any sin.

      • I kinda feel the same way. In my three presidential elections, I went fellow Virginian Virgil Goode in ’12, Donald Trump in ’16, and none of the above in ’20 (I missed ’08 by a few weeks). I voted for Trump in the ’16 and ’24 primaries and Tulsi in the ’20 primary.

        It’s easy to spend too much time overthinking it, but I heard somebody say the other day that voting is irrational because you’ve got a far better chance of being killed on the way to our from the polling place than you do of your vote making a difference. Even so, with Virginia predicted to be closer than normal this year, I’m gonna throw mine in for Trump.
