I disagree with NoWhiteGuilt.

Obviously, I voted for Trump in the 2024 election and supported him for the first four months of his second term. I was harshly critical of activists who predicted Trump would start a war with Iran for Israel. NoWhiteGuilt was in the building when I gave my speech last June which defended Trump, mainstreaming, political engagement and voting for the Republican Party.

Yes, it is true that Trump has done a number of good things like bringing the border under control and admitting White refugees from South Africa. It is true that there are people who hate Israel more than that love White people. At the same time, we can no longer pretend that Israel is just one issue among many when the political and economic fallout from the war with Iran has become such an enormous political albatross that it has pushed Trump down to a 33% approval rating. That’s the whole ball game.

It took Joe Biden less than a day to reverse Trump’s immigration policy, open the borders and implement anti-White discrimination at every level of the executive branch. Most of Trump’s achievements like reforming the refugee resettlement program and ending illegal immigration should be understood as temporary pauses. The next Democratic president will discontinue the resettlement of White South Africans in America and will likely rescind their legal status here and force them to return home. None of this is sustainable when 2/3rds of the country is politically opposed to you because of Israel.

Donald Trump has gone insane. He is dismissing the affordability crisis. He is fantasizing about putting his face on Mount Rushmore, building an Arch of Triumph, conquering Cuba, etc. Clearly, he isn’t thinking about the long term political consequences of his actions. He doesn’t seem to care that it is all going to come crashing down and he is going to drag the Right down with him.

  1. Conquering Cuba would have made sense about 100 years ago when America still had a healthy sense of self-interest and could have governed the island properly. There’s nothing to be gained now except maybe cheap Cuban cigars, and those won’t be worth the price we pay elsewhere.

        It’s gonna be authorization of military force to open the straights of Hormuz, up to and including the use of boots on the ground, or surrender and the medium to long term economic catestrophe. Also, the longer full war or surrender doesn’t happen, the more likely short term there is economic dislocation including fuel rationing followed by economic catastrophe.

        If Trump were smart he would go for full war to open up the straights and then with the GOP run on a war platform so people like Hunter dont run out of gas and starve. They would win the next election if they do this in enough time. But, the longer they don’t take that move the more likely they get to read about Hunter running out of food and Trump being frog marched in chains to the International Court of Justice. So Hunter, do you want to own the Jews and see Trump frog marched but be starved, or are you willing to see full war against Iran possibly but be conscripted into the Alabama State Militia?

          I was willing to be practical and vote for Trump and the GOP who were pro-Israel, but that was when he was the “no new wars” candidate, when the average price of gasoline in the United States wasn’t approaching $5 a gallon, when he was running on taming inflation and “mass deportations” and all kinds of other things that were popular which he has since publicly abandoned for his donors. There were limits on being “pro-Israel” and the most important one was the understanding that we would not be going to war with Iran.

          We absolutely did not vote for a war with Iran for Israel that is destroying our standard of living based on absurd George W. Bush era lies about evil dictators armed with imaginary WMDs. We didn’t vote for Trump to make Venezuela into a colony or to go to war with Denmark and the EU to take Greenland. There is no relationship between his policy agenda and his 2024 campaign.

          As for the “lazy JQ worldview,” I would like to hear your explanation for how Trump purged everyone in the party who was critical of Israel, took the country to war with Iran, justified it on the basis of Bush era lies about WMDs, crashed the global economy, his coalition and sunk to 33% in the polls and has Laura Loomer of all people as his loyalty enforcer.           • Its not at all hard to find people that are plenty and vocally critical of Israel that still understand the reasoning, which is much larger than either Israel or Iran.             Nothing has changed. Just like it was a year ago with Operation Midnight Boomer, whether he likes it or not, all of this is doing more damage to the zionists and American perception of Israel, and making it increasingly easy to hold a reasonable and still critical perspective on our relationship with them. As to the global economy, I didn’t vote for him to make the global economy better, I voted for him to make our economy better, and I don’t care about Iran or Israel or anybody else. So everything is gonna shift to the Pacific. The kind of leverage we have established is going to make that conflict with China a lot less likely, and THAT is the war I want to avoid. Rolling up the Iranians is a long overdue loose end in the region that has dominated our politics for longer than you and I have been alive. There is no getting out of that region until this is fixed, period. You can bitch and moan all you want, but the geopolitical reality of it doesn’t care about your feelings and neither does the President. Iran was a loose cannon, a real enemy, and they had it coming.

There is no coming back from this.

            This isn’t George W. Bush’s third term. I will grant you that. Even George W. Bush wasn’t stupid enough to go to war with Iran, get all our military bases in the Middle East blown up and send gas prices soaring past $5 a gallon. George W. He prepared the public for the Iraq War. Trump simply went on television at 2 AM to announce we are at war with Iran.
