Donald Trump Announces Iran Deal Has Been “Largely Negotiated”

The Iran War has allegedly been postponed for two months.

Axios:

“The agreement the U.S. and Iran are close to signing involves a 60-day ceasefire extension during which the Strait of Hormuz would be reopened, Iran would be able to freely sell oil, and negotiations would be held on curbing Iran’s nuclear program, according to a U.S. official.

Why it matters: The deal would avoid an escalation of the war and decrease the pressure on the global oil supply. However, it’s unclear whether it will lead to a lasting peace agreement that also addresses President Trump’s nuclear demands.

State of play: Both Trump and the mediators have indicated the deal could be announced on Sunday, though it has not been finalized and could still fall apart. …”

My thoughts:

1. As we head into the summer, anything that brings down gas prices and inflation is good news, even if it is only a temporary respite. Gas prices normally go up anyway in the summer.

2. Even if the war is only temporarily paused, anything on Iran that upsets the likes of Mark Levin, Mark Dubowitz, Ted Cruz and Lindsey Graham is good news.

3. Obviously, I don’t support high gas prices and higher inflation because I subscribe to any “worse is better” theory of politics. Everyone is tired of paying the Israel Tax.

4. They all told us last summer that the war was over after Operation Midnight Boomer destroyed Iran’s nuclear program. Israel went to work on Trump and pressured him into restarting the war. They ultimately succeeded in dragging us back into it in February. The same thing will likely happen again.

5. Undoubtedly, the extension of the ceasefire is about pivoting to the midterms and trying to mitigate the catastrophic damage that Trump has done to his own political standing.

6. Republican senators like Ted Cruz, Roger Wicker and Lindsey Graham are upset that the war has been paused. These people want to drag us back into it. They are the only people in the country who want this. I definitely won’t forget that in November when I vote to remove them from office.

7. Finally, you could say that the finger pointing and the blame game for this disaster has already begun in what is left of the GOP. Maybe we don’t even have to wait for the midterms.

  1. If the mullahs are still in charge and the Iranians aren’t giving up their uranium then Blompf has accomplished nothing of what he stated his original goals were. Donny’s boss Bibi isn’t going to accept any of this “agreement” but this all might be part of Israel’s “Mowing the Lawn” strategy which will prove to be incredibly costly to the US as the war will be dragged out over many years.

  2. >>> Trump Announces Iran Deal Has Been “Largely Negotiated”

On everything except the major sticking points.

  3. “Under the guidance of the Leader, the Iranian negotiating team in talks with the US has firmly declared that it would never back down from Iran’s inalienable nuclear rights.

If you enter the Persian Gulf, first of all, we will give a tough, painful and unprecedented response and break the naval blockade,” he warned Washington.

“But more importantly, we may withdraw from the NPT. Do you know what will happen to you if we withdraw? So… don’t commit suicide.”
    …presstv.ir

    That’s an agreement ?

  4. Trump hopes there us a deal, but does Iran consider it to be in their interests? Maybe or maybe not. But Trump has done won and ended the war more times than I can remember, so I’ll just wait to see.

  5. > Maybe we don’t even have to wait for the midterms.

You don’t. Mikey Pedoface, in an absolute classic GOP move, has already handed over the House of Reprehensibles to Hakim Jeffries and the D-jersey squad of the Pizza Party – totally proving that the R-jerseys and the D-jerseys work for the same overlords. You can kiss all of the things Team Trump did in 2025 good bye. The stage is being set for Donigula’s impeachment and removal starting in January.

  6. Enncore: Mikey’s fellow GOP member / Epstein-class lackey Jim Thune is likewise setting the stage for Trump’s disposal in the Senate. They might even use the 25th amendment to get rid of him before then. Eyeliner Boy (and Skull-and-Bones fellow) J.D. “Vance” wouldn’t mind a bit. I wonder what’s they’ll do with that golden statute down of Donigula in FL? Perhaps it can be re-fashioned into a likeness of Jeffrey Epstein, Satanyahoo or George Floyd and placed atop the Trumphal Arch in Sodom-on-Potomac.

  7. Wait if Trump has dumped Bibi and liberated himself from Israeli occupation by submitting to Sand N@ggers, why aren’t you celebrating this and supporting Trump? Is it because the whole point is just destroy the GOP on behalf of the Demoncrats and in reality is has nothing to do with Israel? Com on man, fess up.

  8. Look for a false flag attack against U.S. ships, bases etc. from Our Greatest Ally to get the war going again. Maybe another 9/11, they are full of “good” ideas. They just can’t help themselves.

  9. I’m seeing conflicting reporting today. Went from “we’re ready to sign a deal on Sunday” to “we’ve made progress, but a deal is nowhere near guaranteed.” Could be some sources decided to overtalk the negotiations, maybe Trump is just waffling like usual. Who knows.

Don’t get excited. If we can count on Trump for anything, it’s that he’ll always bring more disappointment.

  10. “Disarming the resistance would, in fact, strip Lebanon of its defensive capability and serve as a prelude to annihilation, something we will never accept,” …. Gen Sec Hezbollah

Geez, a guy with clear sense…..’prelude to annihilation’ is exactly correct, as planned.

  11. This is how the US exists from the middle east insofar as it does.
Not because the people decided to put the interests of ordinary citizens above imperialism or foreign interventions, but because America can no longer dominate the whole world.
The world caught up with it, and is outmaneuvering it in many cases, forcing the American branch of the global oligarchy to end and scale down many of its military ventures.

  12. This is shitrael’s and their neocon weirdos last gasp, laugh at their utter insanity but islam shouldn’t be rewarded either. Graham being the faggy swamp creature is wishy washy. Trump is smart enough to know this isn’t winning shit. Arrogance is always bad. Goes both ways.

  13. Oil Prices Fall Sharply on News of Possible Iran Deal…..nyt

There’s the reason for Trump’s BS bombast.

  14. Deal with US not imminent, Iran says…bbc

European Gas Storage Can’t Survive 3 More Months of Hormuz

Europe risks a major gas storage shortfall if disruptions through the Strait of Hormuz continue for another 1–3 months…
prolonged disruptions could push Dutch TTF gas prices toward €90/MWh, forcing industrial demand destruction and fuel switching across Europe.

Who’s goin to buy your treasury paper ?

  15. Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman says the indirect talks with the United States are centered on ending aggression on all fronts and that the nuclear issue or the management of the Stratif of Hormuz are not part of the negotiations.

Esmaeil Baghaei said, “The focus of the negotiations is on ending the war, and at this stage we are not discussing nuclear issues.”

Esmaeil Baghaei could easily pass for a European.
That’s what happens with centuries of race mixing, an indeterminate mixed mess.

  16. Yes I read that Lady G’s hair is ablaze as badly as Satanyhaoo’s. Donigula’s trying to leave the Iranian tar-baby but his many good Epstein-class pals are not at all pleased with it.

  17. > Everything accomplished by Operation Epstein Fury would be for naught!

Oh nos!! Such a tragedy. The slush funds will dry up and Lady G will be unable to visit the Pizza parlor of Disney World. What’s the world coming to?
